Update. Passed the hair follicle test. Got the job. Just got the word today. Thank you guys.
Right on. I knew it with 100% confidence. What a great feeling man. I do understand your concern, and the stress that knowing that, that 1 time may cost big time. its more embarrassing than anything, for me anyhow. Especially when, like me, have done everything in the past to try and beat any kind of drug test. I learned 2 things for sure. 1.) the only way to pass any drug test with 100 confidence, and that is just to stay clean, bottom line. 2.) If an employer wants to know the truth about anything, or what you have used or the things that you have done in the past, they can find it: they Will find it, even if they backtrack to your childhood. Some may not find criminal history going back past 7 years from computer searches, but Federal fingerprinting goes all the way back, and they can dig into the adolescence if they want. If an employer wants to know if your using dope, any kind of traffic ticket you've received and have paid, or even drank and drove even though you may have not been caught, they will find it if they want to know you bad enough. Sounds absolutely insane but its the simple truth. Congrats on that

Thank you. With another child on the way I needed it. Thank you all for the info and help. This is going to be much more money than my old job. This hard work is paying off. Three years ago I was living at the rescue mission and fresh out of prison. I use to go to my brothers to shower and look on his computer for a job. My PO wouldn’t let me live with him. His wife’s cousin is this hot chick that was staying there at the time. I don’t know what she saw in me but she believed in me and we started seeing eachother. She was with me when I was homeless. I worked my way up to an apartment bought a brand new car and I’m buying a house next year. Credit is almost perfect. Now I’m having a baby with a new job. Any of you guys on here can climb back up. That’s what makes a man a winner. Everybody messes up. No matter how bad you were addicted it’s not to late. Keep working toward being clean. Work toward a happier life. Doesn’t natter if you have to walk 5 miles to work everyday. Work your way back up. Don’t quit. Your life will get back together faster than you think. Temptation is there but it goes away. Look I was able to walk away after one line. I’ll pray for you guys. Good luck.

all of that stuff is as subtle as the devil. Thats how it gets you. One day it just a line and after awhile it hooks you right back in worse off then you were before.

I don’t like the feeling. When I did the line I threw up in my car. Every drug I have done caused me misery with the exception of lsd which I don’t consider a drug. I like my life without coke and heroine.
Has anybody done one line of coke then two months later have to do a hair follicle drug test? No prior drug use last ten years before that. The one time I do it then a new job offer comes along that wants a hair test. I read that it doesn’t detect one time use. Just seeing if anybody has experience with this. Man I shouldn’t have fucked around. Lesson learned again.

Hair follicle tests are crazy expensive. A regular user can pass after 8 weeks. This was known to be 3 month test. I Did it and passed in 2012 just being clean from some heroin use and I was smoking and blasting cocaine 4 _5 days a week, but stayed clean for 8 weeks; this was a 3 month hair test. It was a $75 test and they took urine also. This was for an employment for a recovery program in Las Vegas, NV.
I've also had an acquaintance that used Meth here and there, was given a few days notice of the test, came in the Test day with his hair all shiny and clean, by the way, I could not stand the mother Fr and he passed the Test. I thought for sure he would fail. I still wonder how he past it. I know he used meth here and there, maybe once a week before hosting an Meth anonymous meeting. Used to smell that shit in the restroom in a recovery program. used to miss me off big time and he used some hair bs and all those cleansers are junk anyhow. All you have is faith and I think your good. Depends on job and hair length;;; If your trying for the police I'd wait another few months. Opinion on that one. But just once and I would take the Test.
Wow thank you so much. I actually just read from lab Corp that it defiantly doesn’t detect one time use but it’s good to hear this from somebody that went through it. Man I haven’t touched coke in ten years except that one line 8 weeks ago then I get a job offer that does hair test. That’s a sign that I should never do that shit again. Job is for machine mechanic. they have a cut of level of 300 ng/dL. I should be waaayyy under that.
Oh ya. Real talk. Just being honest. Go take the test. Even If you used a lit back then I'm sure your still good. The boss back then in NV wanted all him employees sober; for new employees, he would UA them before hire, let them get comfortable and let their new hair grow for 2 weeks, then test them. It stays in hair for a long while but as hair grows, the chemical would weaken, so the fresher the hair after growth the better. Extensive testing can detect going back year but then that hair would have to be a foot long if you know what I mean. But then I'm positive extensive testing cost several hundred dollars. I thought about it you're good. One time is really nothing in terms for follicle testing. May not even show up after weeks or Even a month. You're good man. Just be positive. Ur gonna pass the test. If it was for a job that had you dealing with nuclear power or really dangerous, big time stuff where sobriety is demanded, heavy background checking and so forth, even 1 time use will not show after all this time that has passed. Even a sophisticated test May not detect cause I'm sure you keep your hair short which really does matter. I'm just positive. I'd do it with 100% confidence. I know, I'm a messup, I've tried to beat these tests in every way and have failed. Testing is just so sophisticated now. Can't really beat even the cups now a days. They can measure kidney

Dude is lucky . but it was my belief the standard is 4 to 6 months it stays in. But i think with any test like urine they dont necessarily test for the. Chemical itself but. The elevated levels that breaks down the substance itself thats directly linked to that drug. If my memory serves me correctly. That is....... So like anything. With the minor amount. Right. That makes sense. They won't detect heroin, for example, but detect a specific level of acete-morphine 6 which is a precursor in many opiates or opioids/synthetic opioids; analgesics in general. Anyhow. Their testing methods have really advanced in the last 10 years. Even the cups can detect kidney function which can tell if one is flushing. One used to get away once or twice drinking the baking soda trick or the bleach, and all those flushing drinks are junk. Some detox teas May work if he or she is clean for at least 48 hours; stimulants are out in a few days anyhow, so what's the point. I finally learned how to just surely dominate those tests easily, and anybody can do it, and that's too just stay clean, lol, as easy as that.

Reason why you will see on a 9 or 12 label drug test cup, or a lab for that matter, for example, "Opiate, Oxy, Morphine, Buprenorphine, Hydrocodone, Cocaine, Meth, Amphetamines, THC, Benzodiazepine, Xanax, and so forth." Oxy? Is that Oxycontin, Oxycodone, Opiate??Boils down to the metabolite, although, for example, heroin is derived from morphine which is derived from the opium poppy, and to name a few more such as codeine, and hydrocodone; most everything else being synthesized from opiates or other opioids. The list is insane. But I'm not educated to go there or even argue but I'm sure that you have seen this.

But then I've come to only 1 conclusion when completing a clean drug test with confidence and with no worries from any and all drug test, and that is to Stay Clean. That's the only answer. If an employer wants to catch an employee, and It does not matter how smooth this employee May be, if an employer feels or knows that his employee is or may be using dope, he or she is going to get caught. Oh man, then Xanax and the benzo used for alcohol detox, can't remember, stay for weeks. Methadone clinics don't dose anybody who is dirty for benzos, or until he or she gives a clean UA. Valium and it's lighter family are out in just days. And then those useless drug testing strips or the less expensive or older cups....I've seen false positives for the blood pressure medication, Locinipril, resulting in a false positive for bupronorphine-Suboxone; many employers rely on these cheap add tests also. Best to use labs anyhow. Seen many false positives with those useless strips and cups.

jayiskMan a false positive would drive me nuts and is almost impossible to beat if the second vial of urine tests positive as well. Esp. if you know you are clean. Never did a hair drug screen before but I thought it lasted a yr or so. But good thing thats not the case.

From what I've read in the news coke is pretty much the worst thing to be mixing with steroids, the amount of people that mix it with anadrol and other high BP compounds on a weekend and then have strokes or die from heart attacks is very high.

Well, anyhow, that's exactly how ,"Kevin Randleman" died. He was open and honest about his cocaine use so I'm bringing it up. He did have a Massive heart attack just before he collapsed and passed in 2016 @ 45 years old. I can't really say anything else from here considering facts and what I have learned regarding the issue; he is no longer here to argue the issue but I know that he was a great guy, great humor, extremely powerful and an awesome champion in his day. Stimulants are just hard on the heart anyway.
Ultimately people who are serious about their training and steroid cycling don't drink alcohol, take opiates and do recreational drugs. I never even knew this whole subculture existed until I started reading the forums online.
I Strongly agree. I can't argue. In reference to the specific lifestyle, If you didn't include the term "Serious", Id bring up an arguable point or two. This includes cycling as well. Serious come with the term responsible; a general subject but I can't argue man. Youre correct. Ultimately boils down to What is the right thing.

They take it from anywhere. My buddy passed his test and he did his at the same time and did more than me. I think I’m ok. But they will take your finger nail if they can’t take your hair. I don’t know why I even did it. I don’t like coke. Worse comes to worse I still have the job I’m at now

Keep it in the day. Don't say" I'll be sober the rest.of my life" just ask God to keep u from a drink or a drug just for today. That's what works for me as well as meetings and constant expanding my sober network

Why not give up one thing to have everything or u can give up everything for one thing. Think about all the ones you've hurt along the way.
4th step is getting rid of that heavy baggage that you've been carrying around for so long so when u make those ammemds u have at least cleared your side of the street & u know you've done then best you've done to make things right. Congratulations, whatever you have to do, Recovery is worth it. I'm really enjoying Russell Brand's book "Recovery: Freedom from Our Addictions." I'm listening to the Audio book read by the author when I work out. ODAT I attend meetings regularly, pray & meditate everyday, read some recovery literature everyday, hang out with other people seeking recovery, stay involved in sponsorship, and service work to my local community(homegroup, phoneline). Live the 12 steps. Just what I do.

If your Doctor prescribed TRT, then IOP is saying they know more than a Doctor. If you are self-medicating then I think your IOP has a valid point. I would follow the experts advice. I get myself into trouble when I ignore professional opinion. Staying clean for me is a lot easier than staying high was. My body went through a lot of changes when I stopped taking dope. I had 3 years clean when I went back to self medicating with Testosterone.
They finally gave in. They wanted to see my numbers before and a letter from my doctor. It’s definitely prescribed. I never wanted to trt. I was mid cycle and got arrested for 1 dbol pill. I had a parole hold and sat 5 months. No pct. I tried like hell when I got home to recover, but I couldn’t get it right. I came home January 29 and finally gave in to trt 9 days ago. Stuck with some gyno too from no pct.

My IOP said I can’t take testosterone for trt...which I started this Wednesday. I really want to complete my IOP which = Intensive out patient. So I have to decide.

It’s doctor prescribed. It’s just my history. I was arrested for juice, and they say it’s just like any other narcotic. Easy to say when you don’t have a 195 test level. But after a lot of paperwork from my doctor they allowed it.
KingsolverJust thought I'd check in and share that I'm 2months clean from opiates. I know it's only 2 months but that's a milestone for me. I only last a few days normally. It's amazing how everything feels so much more intense when your sober. Food and sex is amazing my libido is like when I was a teen haha.
