BEGGARS AND PANHANDLERS
If you live in a large city, you no-doubt have seen people hanging around bus stops and businesses asking for money. There have always been beggars and panhandlers, and they have always known that if you can swallow a lot of pride (and a little cum), you can knock down an easy 70K per year----better than most college grads fresh out of school.
But lately, this trend has caught on in small towns as the eceonomy continues to collpase (and make no mistake, it is collapsing---resting solely on printed fiat currency). In my town, the beggars, finding that big city folks have awakened to their bullshit sob stories, have moved in and tapped into the gullible naievity of the liberal Christians, which we seem to be over-populated with. They stand at an intersection---usually one that intersects with a Wallmart (we all know how gullible you have to be to shop there), and hold signs that read "DISABLED VET...ANYTHING HELPS" or "SINGLE MOM....LOST EVERYTHING". Upon questioning, they never give you a solid story, and after a few hours in one spot, usually get into their BMW and drive off to another fishing hole.
So I've decided that if people are that stupid, then it would be interesting to see just how stupid they really are.......just how much bullshit will they swallow. So in order to find out, Grrl and I have decided to do some begging on our own this weekend.
My sign will read...."RECENTLY PAROLED SEXUAL PREDATOR.......ANYTHING HELPS"........and Grrrl's sign is going to read ......."LAID OFF PROSTITUTE.....LOST EVERYTHING, INCLUDING PIMP". I've already made arrangements to have my belongings shipped to Tread if I'm lynched, and my wife shipped to BFG----IF she has any ass left to ship after our day in the sun.
Seriously, if you're able to stand in the hot sun for hours, you can run the fry machine for a while and Micky Ds. There are plenty of social agencies, soup kitchens and single fat girls who will take you in. You don't need to rake in 300 a day from people who are probably worse off than you. Taking money from poor people puts you in the same League as a preacher, and that's saying something.
Anyway-----what are you seeing in your town? Have you noticed things getting worse, or is your city hall repaving the sidewallks in gold?

I do recall the news following some of these people to there nice cars and homes. So no they are not all homeless or what some of you seem to think most of them are just lazy. Just because someone is holding a sign does not mean they are homeless or less fortunate.

SeaHawkI used to live in the city. Every Friday afternoon there would be 5-10 young black kids collecting for some organization. Their signs always looked like they printed them at school earlier that day and I never once saw an adult of any kind. They were real aggressive too, coming right up to the window and standing there long enough to make you uncomfortable. I always assumed they were a fraud... but It wasnt until I stayed the weekend in the city and happened to look out my apt. window into my parking lot that i knew for sure. I saw all the kids pooling the money and then distributing it to each other evenly before walking away in separate directions... signs on the ground and all.
My take on this case specifically is that they are kids and at least exhibiting some initiative. Not too many places looking to hire a hungry 9 year old.

I find it amazing how many people have no problem with God allowing children to be raped, mudered and tortured....yet they are absolutley sure that God is going to make sure they get that raise at work.
There are hundreds of religions on this planet. Yours is an accident of birth. You're a Christian because you were born in the USA. If you were born in India, you'd be a Hindu......in the middle east, a Muslim.....in Ireland, a Catholic........in Israel, a Jew...and so on.
The earth is billions of years old, and the USA is only a few hundred, and apparently when the USA was formed, THAT'S when God decided to pick a team????

I have plenty of Christian friends......the debates are always fun and spirited. But even they will admit that according to the Bible (Leviticus) they are supposed to stone me to death for being a nonbeliever. Luckily, they don't REALLY believe in the bible (like most Christians)-----if they did, they'd be at Wallmart on Sunday, lynching people for working on the sabbath.

You're right it baffles me too why God allows certain things to happen but surely we aren't so egotistical that we think we can understand his way. Yes I was raised a Christian but starting in my early teens and continuing through my early 20s I strayed far and free fell through every hell hole you could think of. Thus the felonies countless tats drug addiction the whole nine yards. Only when I truly came back to God did my life start changing for the better. Now I have a college education, a very profitable business, a beautiful fiance and a family who loved me through it all. And no God didn't choose america. America chose God. Until recently. Actually brother the Holy Bible doesn't say anywhere that man has a free will it is implied in sermons but not scriptural. Also many of the founding Fathers of this country were Deist believing in a higher divine power but not necessarily the God of the Christians. Thomas Jefferson edited the Holy Bible and took out the parts that he thought were futile. But then again I see many Christians doing that today as well. But I will say that your turn around story is inspiring and it is good that you are prospering.
