Nutrition while on Var

ad

Hello Ladies and Gents. My wife is wanting to do an 8 week Anavar Cycle. We have a few questions on her first cycle I haven’t seen the answers to on here, yet. I’ve already purchased everything she needs for her first cycle

Butttttt I’m curious how the female body reacts to Anavar on more of the nutrition side of things.

Her current diet is around 1500 calories a day, 135g protein and carbs and fats vary depending on meals.
We eat only Whole Foods and very minimally processed healthy foods. No alcohol or other drugs and no health related issues.

*** While taking anavar will her body burn more protein or carbs? Kinda like how Tren reacts to carbs?
Just trying to see if we need to alter her diet for this cycle or just kind of play it out and see what how her body reacts to it.

A little about her. 26 years old, 18% body fat, 136lbs 5’8.
She works out minimum once per day, but most days 2. Reaches around 20,000 steps per day. Prioritizes 8 hours of sleep per night. No cheat meals, and willing to put in the work.

Her goals are to lean out a little more, build some lean muscle mass and start working towards her first bikini competition. She does maintain abs year round, just not as vascular as she’d like to be. She’s been training about 10 years, never taken more than 3 days off from the gym.

First I’d say she’s not eating enough considering what she is already doing. Remember anavar was created for use with people who have muscle wasting disease and the whole point is to add muscle which requires food.

Got to ask this ladies, who pays your bills? What do you do with a girl that gets in the way of you job and bills/ ride etc.

It won't burn more proteins or carbohydrates. From a nutritional standpoint, there is no direct correlation only indirect effects.

I wouldn’t focus primarily on Anavar for this type of preparation. It's a good choice that can partially protect you from some missteps in training and nutrition, but the main effects are provided by other substances (growth hormones, thyroid hormones, Beta2-adrenergic agonists, etc.).

I just want to slowly introduce her to this world, I wanna make sure she won’t have any side effects or health issues from anything she does. I think adding one compound at a time is our safest bet. Even if it means it’ll take longer to get the results she’s searching for. Money isn’t really an issue so if we run a cycle and the results aren’t 110% where we wanna be it’s not the end of the world. But thank you for all the advice, I’ll definitely be looking into other compounds to add in the future for her! Just trying to do some mild research amongst the group but I feel as if the women’s section is really lacking. I know a lot of you veterans in this world have a general knowledge of how everything works and I’m grateful for that! I’m hoping maybe in the future others can use this post to find even the smallest amount of information they’re looking for!

You are having her take drugs and hoping not to have side effects? Even at 10mg daily this will likely change her cycle or cancel it while using all together. The women section is lacking because unless involved in the fitness world the side effects are permanent and worse for females, and at 18% BF at that low of a BW sounds like she isn't serious about training. How about you take her, train her to her limits get her lean with ABs because you don't need drugs for that, then take a look at adding drugs to her life.

I’m not having her take anything, it’s completely her choice and I have no say whether she does or does not. She’s very serious about training but we all have different goals in life. As someone who relies on a lean body year round for work, a full on “bulking cycle” is out of the question at this point in life. Her being 18% shows she works harder than most in my eyes.

The women I’ve been around that take var always complain that they gain weight but I see she wants to gain muscle and lean out. That will naturally happen on var but her weight will go up. Shoulders will be thicker, arms and legs. It’s not like Tren or Eq with protein synthesis but it certainly gets them hungrier to feed the muscles. The only thing you have to watch is acidic foods because it’s known to cause indigestion. Training on an amp empty stomach then refeed with carbs and lean protein. Have low or no carb at night, always does the trick for me. You’d be in constant fat burning mode but not lose muscle. In fact, if she does low carb, her lbm will increase regardless because it slows catabolism which will in turn lower BF.

Thanks also for the in depth advice. Its definitely true about the weight going up on var where some can think its made to lose weight, a very good steroid if used correctly and with the right nutrition

All I can say is wow, thank you for such a detailed response. I’m only a few cycles in myself, so we’re still leaning. I will relay all the information over to my wife’s thank you very much!

I love var and my wife does too but sometimes women have the assumption that it will miraculously burn fat. What it does do is conserve muscle, if you are in a defecit. If you are not in a deficit, you will gain weight (good weight if clean food). Hope this helps and good luck

That seems to be the key. In my eyes we eat very clean, Whole Foods and other healthy stuff. Don’t drink, don’t go out to eat etc. on top of that we don’t calculate all of our calories down to the oil we cook with. I use a scale for everything in the kitchen.

Bingo. With women and Var, diet is everything and can get them in trouble weight wise unexpectedly.

Maybe some carb cycling, cut them for 4 weeks then reintroduce healthy brans, oats etc.. for 6 weeks. Var is amazing I would definitely up the protein in place of carbs but one thing that truly makes this compound shine is the addition of HGH which will take care of the nutrient partitioning and you can almost eat whatever you want and melt fat

Will definitely take all of that into consideration, first few cycles we’ll stick to var only. Then we’ll begin to explore other options!
