phil113kgI hear you man, no beef with you. I am very stick when it comes to things like this and I don't take prisoners. I require 110% from myself and I expect that from everyone. I guess it's my undoing. But if I was a src pledging to donate then I would expect to see my donations handed out properly and not half slacking. I guess you can agree to that as well.
Well that's why u look the way u do, i guess not everyone has it in them. Personally i know i do, but that's another matter.
sgtstedankoI wondered all of that, as well. You've gotta remember none of these dudes know how to pose, never competed... A lot of the time, I tried to judge guesstimating so to speak. I found myself wanting to punish for shoddy lighting, pics not matching up, posing, lack of this or that... I went through for a night, nit-picking tattoos. Hello kitty vs my little pony. Dragon vs pink fairy princess. Flaming unicorn vs drunken pelican. In the end it came down to a few guys & Grrls that either A. keep themselves in phenomenal shape year round. Or B. Really really made some good progress for one cycle... When you're already at 7% & you come back about the same w/10 pounds of new muscle, imo that's much harder than starting from a higher %. In the end speaking for myself. It was very very close. & I feel bad for whoever loses. Because everyone deserves a pat on the shoulder. There does seem to be some favorites voting going on. Not from me. It was honestly 95% really good, & 3-4% excellent. W/1% not finishing
phil113kgI here you load and clear sgt. I was just voicing my take on what I look for when I casted my votes. I know some have never ventured down this road and my hats off to all who crossed the finish line at 100% or less. My concern was keeping things in perspective within the boundaries of what classifies as one-three stars.
I posted my wheels. Lets me compare as i go to next ebc in summer. Can't get real stage ready without building things back up to par.
Yep, I remember people talking about Legs in the beginning on the thread before the contest started, it was also discussed in previous contests! The mandatory poses all talk about proper leg placement and flex when I looked them up to see how to do them right. Leg placement and flex are part of every pose. It is damn hard to concentrate on keeping everything flexed at the same time in the right position when trying to do any of those poses. Hopefully that will be considered in Final judging. The only thing I remember that was really talked about regarding presentation was "Before and after pics will be same poses with same lighting and background". This rule had exceptions though under certain circumstances in the past, like people moving. But with limits to the changes. These EBCs are living evolving things and will continue to become more defined and hopefully expansive as time goes on with everyone's help and support!

thats true and i caught that the day after the submitions were due, in my b4 pics i did add my legs and i also updated a pic of my legs, but in the final pics i forgot to add them i wish i could still add them

i think next ebc it should be mandatory for a person to vote for everyone....im not sure if its figured by averages or how its figured but imo everyone should have the same # of votes, just my .02

I hear ya. With this being first go around at this new system there was kinks for sure and loopholes but I'm sure g and t are taking that into account. Next one will be much more efficient I beleive. Now that the rodeo is over the final judging will be done accurately and without bias. It's been very nerve wracking being the first group to be judged this way. But all of us seemed to really compliment one another and root each other on in reaching our goals.

You knocked it out the park. Think of what usual before and afters are for cycles and then compare your results! Bomb! But ya sex has gotten good my girl is always staring at my abs when we are getn rough. Hahaha. But I got soooo much shit for tanning as much as I did. People call me gtl now! Lol and guido. I had to explain why I was tanning to everyone I talk to including complete strangers. Where I live everyone is vampires because its too cold to be tan so I stick out like a sore thumb.

BostonTell you what guys and gals..this contest was hard. This thing was harder than i thought it would be. You go in knowing exactly what you need to do, you've got a game plane lined out and you do your best to follow it. But things just come up in life and shit happens. Seemed like every time i wanted to do my cardio it wanted to pour rain outside or freezing rain. Id wanna get to the gym early to squeeze in an additional post workout cardio session...but sometimes shit would pop up and i wouldnt have the time for it. But you keep going and you do the best you can the next day. Then you make it to thanksgiving. You tell yourself and everyone else, no thanks..im on a diet. They look at you crazy and they think, whats wrong with him, thats so weird! You know thats what they are thinking lol. But you dont give in, you dont eat the stuffing or the mashed potatoes or the broccoli casserole(MY FAVORITE). You dont do it, but it fucks with you. Your craving start to get to you and they seem to cause more rage than any gear you've ever run. You are short, frustrated, damnit you just want some pizza or some of that home made candy that you grandmother makes around the holidays every year. You just want one piece! But you dont..and you move on. Its a struggle, a mental battle. But you keep seeing these crazy update pics from justaguy. You see a roadmap lookin back shot from gorillafit and you tell yourself, "fuck, he looks good". Then Mjunkie throws up the most muscular update and it scares you. You know these dudes arent messin around. Hump throws up shots of these giant peaks and these horseshoes that are poppin out of his arms and you just cant help but to say wow. Fitcpl is flashin his crazy ass abs all over the place..you look down and you say..yep, ive got some work to do! It's a war. A grueling mental and physical war that is trying its best to break you down and make you say those awful words, "i quit". But you keep going and you cross that finish line. We all did that and god damn it was hard but look what we've managed to accomplish. We are some dedicated hard workin good lookin guys and gals. We should all be proud. Not everyone can do this type of thing. You have to have heart. We got that. I give everyone here the ultimate respect. It feels awesome to have been a part of this. Its been a life changing experience for me. I'll never forget this and never forget you guys. Im reminded of each one of you every time i hear the eye of the tiger. You all start rolling through my heads lol. That will never go way. Love you guys and this place and i cant wait to do this again. Peace and love guys.

Guess whats on....yup u got it..Eye Of The Tiger..the journey isnt over..we all caught the bug..and its worse than BRONCHITIS, CRABS RANGOON or any flu bug..there aint no vaccine for it. We have all have defeated our own weaknesses and that is something not many people in this world can achieve. Everyone that participated a HUGE KOODOS and way to kik ur own ass! I truly enjoyed every step of the way!! It definately has prepped me for spring stage and looks like a few others! CONGRATS EVERYONE!! YOU ALL DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB!!

Good summary Boston. It was a blood and guts battle. Enjoyed every minute of it though. We all learned alot and are stronger mentally from the knowledge we picked up, priceless!
