-3 Thoughts on staying on 125mg Cyp EOD

ad

A lot of what I read considers pinning 125mg cyp eod as a low “blast” cycle. But honestly I just don’t want to go lower. Is this really that bad for me? Like I know you’re not supposed to. But I feel… happy.
I struggle with “depression” mostly I think I just struggle with everybody around me being an idiot but regardless. Test genuinely makes me a lot more tolerant and just less irritable. At this dose I just feel good all the time. Do I really have to go lower?
I feel like I’ve always wanted to die so being in my late 30s I’m honestly going to keep going. Just because I’d rather die younger feeling this good than feel miserable and live longer. But I guess I’m just curious what other people’s experiences are.
I donate blood as often as I can. I did a low dose cycle HGH. Other than the higher blood sugar (still within healthy range) when I was on GH I have no noticeable health issues. I eat fairly healthy. I take quality vitamins. When I cycle anavar I also take a quality liver support. So I try to be mostly healthy with everything.
Anybody else stay at this dose or higher without “cruising” and lowering your dose ever?

Pretty sure this dudes just trolling.

What are your test values, and other health markers with running 125mg EOD? You might be a low responder to a standard TRT dose of Test. You might actually need more mg’s to achieve the same TRT levels others get at 200mg per week. I feel like as long as your BP, ApoB, Cystatin C, RBC, Hemoglobin, HCT, and lipids are all within range, then run it bro. If you feel good then that’s great, but don’t make the mistake of tanking your physical health markers for the mentally subjective “good feeling” you are talking about.

Chiron's picture

Well it was meant to be a cycle so I didn’t exactly get blood done beforehand and now I’m just on it. So that sucks but it is what it is. Somebody gave me a link to a site that sets up bloodwork for cheap. I’m gonna go do that. See what is what. Then adjust from there if needed. I definitely know I can move out of the “good feeling” and the fact it makes receptors more readily available tells me I will have to adjust at some point regardless. I’m 5-6 months in on this dose so I should get a fairly decent idea of what’s what on bloodwork at this point. I don’t really like comparing test to other drugs because the mechanism is so different from most drugs. With that said basically every drug I’ve ever done I need more of. I think I mentioned in another post I even woke up mid arm surgery and told the dude beforehand I’d probably need more sleepy juice. He laughed. So idk I think there’s definitely a possibility I may just be a low responder.

Rydawg's picture

I’d look into low dose mast e for mood support.

I work for a large corporation and struggle with practically everyone around me being an idiot. Seems like they get under my skin less when I’m on TRT vs when I’m on cycle. Have you given that a serious try for an extended length of time since hopping on?

Also, I see you mention a bunch about not caring for your health and dying early…but do you have a family? A significant other? Your being here has a direct impact on their lives. I’m sure they love you and want you to be around for as long as possible buddy.

Chiron's picture

Yeah I have taken lower doses. But I feel like my asthma actually gets worse. Idk what it is. And I do feel good even at lower doses. I think the main thing about this dose is that it virtually erases my asthma and my energy levels feel premium. Like normally I just wanna sit around but I think I’ve been at this dose for like almost 6 months now. I get everything done. Like at a lower dose I still have energy and get alot of stuff done. But I guess the more I think about it a lot of it has to do with my breathing too. At lower doses I was pinning less frequently than EOD so maybe that has something to do with the breathing issues. But I’m fairly certain it induces sleep apnea at either a lower dose because of the dose or less frequently pins. I’ll wake up wheezing or sometimes wake up choking and coughing. And I’ve had asthma my whole life. Being able to breath is a game changer. I literally feel better than I ever have. And now I can do more physical tasks and not be wheezing the whole time. So I think being able to breath has added a lot to my quality of life. And like you said I’m just generally more tolerant. Definitely more of an Office Space vibe going on with me.

I’m single. I have family. No kids. I’m sure nobody wants to see me die. But that’s an unfortunate reality for all of us. It is what it is. I ordered a bottle of tren that even now I’m hesitant to use. I watched my grandpa go from great health to falling more and more. Hurting more and more. It went so quick too. Just all downhill after the first fall. Spent like the last 7 years falling and in hospitals getting worse and worse. I went to see him and was the last one to see him alive. He was all twisted up and thinner than a toothpick. Had barely any function. Not even sure if he knew who I was. I think the moral standard in a Christian society is that we value life and we push to be here so we can be with our loved ones and they can be with us. But when I saw my grandpa I couldn’t help ask myself “what even is this for?” Like did he even live those last years? Or did he just spend that time feeling like a burden and struggling and hurting? And that’s when I decided I was going to be taking the tren. I appreciate you trying to be positive and I’m sure a lot of people need to hear that. But I don’t. There was a point in many societies when the moral standard was to die with honor. I’m not saying passing away at 90 in your deathbed is dishonor. I’m just highlighting how the value of my life really comes down to that moral standard. The value is not actually compared to anything that can be substantiated by anything other than that standard that is literally made up. Regardless I respect your view and appreciate you trying to be helpful in that aspect. It just doesn’t hit the same way for me.

Dukes173's picture

You know the risks involved so no need to remind you. I honestly think that if you slowly dropped to 400 then 375, 350, etc you wouldn’t feel much different mentally until you went way lower. But this is your thing man, you know what’s best for you. I personally don’t like going below 200 and feel completely crashed if i try to run low TRT at 100ish.

Chiron's picture

I’ll keep this in mind but I personally do notice a difference. I used to just hit 250 a week this is definitely like the premium zone for me. I got some new test in. The current one looks like it’s testing around 225mg but the new stuff looks like it’ll probably be closer to 250mg. So I should be able to tell if there is any change in how I feel. If it’s better I’ll stay. If I start feeling negative symptoms I’ll lower it. This is sort of the max I want to go with testosterone. But yeah unfortunately lower doses don’t have me feeling as good. The more i talk on this forum the more I think my asthma might actually be the biggest factor. It’s fine at this dose. So I think it’s just my quality of life everywhere else increased.

Dukes173's picture

Best of luck to you bro. 200 works ok for me but I really don’t start feeling my best until i approach 300. Sometimes i wonder if all these receptor desensitization theories guys talk about online have any merit. I mean on paper, 125 should be sufficient for me but it is terrible. I feel like garbage on that low of a dose. I’ve tried it multiple times and it’s terrible.

Chiron's picture

Well that’s the thing. The available evidence shows that it’s not like a street drug that burns receptors out. It actually makes them more available. So it’s like the opposite. You’re not chasing the first high. You might plateau on gains and want to do more for that reason. But as far as the feeling you get. Like the mental wellness. That should technically remain the same at whatever dose you take. So far I’m at this dose for almost 6 months and never thought “I’d feel happier or better if I just did more”. At the gym I’ve definitely thought “I wonder how much I could lift if I did more rest this week”. But that’s a different thought process lol.

press1's picture

I can understand where you are coming from - when you are on a nice dose of Testosterone the world does indeed feel a lot better, its a mans natural hormone he produces which declines with age. Having superphysicological doses is always going to feel great. Normally what happens though is users will keep using amounts that are above TRT levels and then in time they tire of lots of injecting, or just cannot be bothered with the feeling of being on steroids anymore - so then they try and do a full proper PCT or just sit on a TRT level for the rest of time. You also get guys who use to live for their training, suddenly come up with excuses like 'life got in the way' so they stop lifting and stop using gear altogether.

Posting this up on a forum, you are never going to get an abundance of members condoning it because its unsafe long term - excess testosterone in your blood will alter certain health parameters in your Blood work but more importantly can cause your heart to grow and also lower in ejection fraction since the size of the internal chambers increase in size meaning less blood can be pumped around the body, then it time Heart disease can become an issue. To do this completely safely you would have to be getting regular bloodwork done and also echochardiograms on your Heart at least once per year.

At the end of the day its your Life and only you can choose what you do with it and what you choose to put into your body - I mean Christ, you have idiots willing to put cigarettes in their mouth everyday and inhale smoke through their lungs and clog their arteries up with tar and are willing to pay for it LMAO

Chiron's picture

I do definitely get that people will try to tell me what’s “right” and not condone this. That’s sort of why I added the disclaimer that I’ll probably keep doing it even if it kills me. I watched my grandpa go from great to falling a couple times a year until he could barely move. I was the last one to see him alive in the hospital and he looked so frail and just already gone… honestly that’s when I decided I’d rather die early. Like “fuck cruising” and “looks like we’re hitting that vile of tren that you were so afraid of”.
I definitely understand the thickening of the heart and the restriction of the vessels and the risk of dying while trying to push a shit out. I guess I was just looking for what other people thought and what they are doing. I like to think I’m fairly smart and I know this isn’t a genius move. Especially considering higher T = lower IQ. But I can spare some points and some years is what I feel like.
I appreciate your input.

press1's picture

You are best befriending members on here that have run steroids for multiple years who are experienced, then you will be able to chat in PM to see what they run year round. Bare in mind that the more years you run steroids - the more sick of them you will beome. You won't think they are still the shining light that they seem right now in another 5 years down the line, I also think you should concentrate on the things in life that make you feel a great personal sense of satisfaction and inner peace as thats where I find a lot of inner happiness and contentment comes from. Don't be fooled by thinking its just heightened testosterone that makes you feel this way - other things have to be going well too at the same time Smile

Chiron's picture

I appreciate that. And I understand that feeling depressed is often times circumstantial and not strictly just depression or whatever.
As far as finding something that makes me happy. I’m kind of a psychopath. I’m sitting at the computer I built that sits between my jewelry bench and my electrical soldering station. I have like 50 projects going at once. Half of those projects are pretty technical and being built from scratch. Like I was going to try to build a small nuclear power plant type shit. But I have neighbors and they have kids so I thought that’d be fucked up to poison them with radiation.
Basically when you think Sherlock Holmes or Da Vinci and that whole “messy, shit everywhere, psycho with too many thoughts”. That’s me. I don’t really find happiness in stuff. Everything is a competition with nobody else but myself and even when I accomplish something great it’s just done…. The acknowledgment from others doesn’t matter to me. I don’t do things multiple times. I just need to master the next thing now. I’m just saying that it’s extremely hard for me to find happiness like that. Really I just do so much to think about that and only that. Every project I do gets every last drop of brain power I can muster. You can’t even talk to me when I’m in a project. I either get annoyed or barely notice you’re talking. I’m fucked brother! This is the best I’ve been my whole life.

TeaBody's picture

What's that average out to weekly? 430ish? That's a new users cycle. Test is like any other drug, the longer you use higher doses, the more you are gonna need later to get the same results... tread lightly

Chiron's picture

Yeah 437.5 to be precise. But I’m seeing on the site that I got it from that my test is testing (around the time I bought) at like 225mg. So a bit less. This is at the very bottom of the USP allowable range. Any lower though it’s technically under dosed. That was kits4less. This time I got from pureanabolics. I’ll start that one probably next week. But I’m hoping it’s a little more pure and I’ll just get a boost from that alone.
With all of that said I would disagree with you that test is like any other drug. In fact current evidence states the exact opposite. The receptors don’t downregulate like with opioids or something where you need to progressively increase the dose to achieve the same feeling. The opposite appears to be true with testosterone. If you want to get bigger that’s one thing. Then you will increase the dose. But my question was more about feeling and overall wellness. Everything else does not require you keep increasing. Androgen receptors typically upregulate rather than down like with recreational drugs. Test does shut down HPTA and leave you basically reliant otherwise you will feel terrible without your test. But that’s really the only dependency it causes. From my understanding at least. If you have information I don’t know about I’m always open to listen. Thank you for your input.

abeblinkin's picture

I’m not sure what your IQ has to do with any of this but I’ll try to ignore that. Masteron makes me feel really good with nice stable mood when I’m on it and it’s the only way my wife lets me run Tren, because without it I’m basically just a giant ass hole.

In a promo × 1
Chiron's picture

I literally said what it has to do with this. Also, your IQ gets lower the more testosterone you take. So it’s definitely a factor that’s discussed when it comes to testosterone and overall well being. But I’ll just try to ignore you asking what it has to do with any of this.
Can I ask how often you pin?
Do you take testosterone Cypionate or another ester?
Do you take masteron P or E?
What is your tren dose on a cycle and what ester is the tren?
Masteron is also for cycling. Do you run it long term? Because cycling other compounds to feel good is much different than taking testosterone and the feeling you get with that. Plus a cycle of feeling good doesn’t really help me. I’m talking about always feeling good at the dose I’m taking on testosterone. Not really cycles. I will also note that just because you’re taking less testosterone and adding masteron that’s not really healthier. It’s just unhealthy in different ways.

abeblinkin's picture

Have you ever actually backing
off to a trt dose before, it actually feels kind of good mentally, or try 150mg test and 100mg of Masteron, there’s definitely other options you could try before just deciding to go belly up.

In a promo × 1
Chiron's picture

I have lowered it. I have asthma. At 250mg a week I basically don’t have asthma any more. When I take lower dose, I’m not sure if it’s the hormones or what but I think it genuinely gives me sleep apnea when I am at a lower dose. I wake up coughing and choking and like gasping for air. Or just wake up in the morning wheezing like I didn’t breathe right all night. This happens really any time I even adjust my dose substantially as well. And as far as the mental aspect I’ve literally never felt better mentally than I have at this dose. This isn’t a flex just info, but I have a genius/near genius IQ. If I’m experiencing any sort of like brain fog or loss of cognitive functions it’s not enough that I even sort of feel it. And if anything maybe that’s what’s making me happier. Just being more stupid lol.
I have never tried masteron. The only other things I’ve pinned are HGH and GHK-Cu. And the only other steroid I’ve taken, and love it for the gym, is anavar. But I have some tren and it’s time for a cycle of something coming up so I’m gonna try that. I’m just really worried about my hair. It’s long and bitches love it. But other than shedding I haven’t experienced any real hair loss on anything from other stuff. I just know tren be different.
I also don’t take an aromatase inhibitor. I have arimadex but I found that when I take it I feel worse. My asthma is worse. I sleep worse. I feel puffier. I notice no bad effects not taking it. Only positives. I think pinning EOD really helps too.
Can you tell me a bit about what masteron does for you? Like your personal experience. It was one that was on my list of considerations but… idk. I really just want lean mostly keepable gains so I kind of wrote it off. And since I already had a vile of tren… its also my first tren cycle and it’ll be very low dose so I didn’t even consider stacking masteron. But yeah if you wanna tell me what masteron does for you personally that’d be cool. And thanks for your input.

I didnt think Id live past 30. It looks like robots could take over everything in a couple years. Alot of people are thinking "whats the point of living for the future?"

Im in my early 40s. My entire life there has been talk of an upcoming apocalypse. I wish I would have lived for the future instead of living like the world is about to end. Thats goes for everything. Especially my health.

If everyone is living for the moment and only few are planning for the future.... those planning for the future... they could be wrong, the world could end. If it doesnt, those that planned for the future are gonna be miles ahead of everyone else.

You might regret not taking care of your health. You wont regret taking of your health.

Id try to lower your trt dose to... idk but thats high. Ya gotta try to bring that down or long term youll notice health issues. If you can bring it down to 200mg a week, I think that would directly add time onto your life.

Chiron's picture

I see your point. Like “well… it’s just better to be sure. Right?” But I’m sure I’ve always hated myself and always wanted to die. Like since I was a child. So like…. I see your point…. I just think you are weighing physical health more heavily than I am. I’m not an idealist that has some sort of existential crisis and is constantly fixated on why life is unfair and the end is coming due to this or that.
I guess I’m just fishing for that one guy that tells me his horror story at this dose or higher. Maybe I’ll reconsider if I hear some really bad shit. But so far so good lol. I’m not really too worried about bursting a blood vessel and dying on the shitter. Hopefully in 2026 that’s enough to get to Valhalla since society is cucked and I can’t go battle to the death with an axe. That’s just suicide by cop.
I do understand your perspective and the point you’re making from it though. I appreciate the input.

Steeltoad777's picture

I can relate is all. Ya dont start thinking about the shit ya avoid until it hits ya in thr face and ya cant avoid it.

Either way... its your journey/life... I/we could be wrong af. Maybe your best bet is to blast bc... who knows, tomorrow may never come.

God Speed and Best wishes!

Idk your history with mental health or treatment... I can definitely relate to what your saying. Not pushing it on you or anyone but ketamine therapy has worked better for depression for me than anything else Ive tried. Hands down. I recommend it but its something ya wanna do with a doctor or someone who knows what theyre doing in using it for therapy.

Chiron's picture

Maybe I’ll think about it. I’ve only done k recreationally but not a fan. I know there’s a difference but I just don’t think it’d work for me. Drugs react differently to me. Idk I’m fucked. Like I told the anesthesiologist that I need more than most people. And woke up in the middle of a doctor putting a titanium plate in my cut open arm. So like… idk bro. That’s why I’m looking for insight. I know it’s definitely not recommended. But honestly everybody is telling me what I already know and what we all know on paper. I was thinking somebody would have dropped a personal horror story by now that would make me think twice. Maybe those people are dead already though lol. I appreciate you taking the time to leave your input bro. It’s always good to get more thoughts than just yours even if it doesn’t change your mind.

Steeltoad777's picture

All I know is... ive wanted to off myself many times. The last time I was walking around skid row... I didn't have the balls to wrap my lips around a revolver... I needed a needle to shoot dope with... I was picking up needles off the ground and using them to get right. I know its probably not likely youll contact HIV, and I know HIV is basically cured/managable these days... this was 6/7 years ago. My point is... I wasnt trying to avoid getting HIVAIDs. In my head, I was almost wishing for it. I didnt have the guts to kill myself so I was trying to... "brush death." I was hoping something would end it/me bc I wasnt able to myself. Probably God idk what else explains it. Im not super religious but ive gotten alot more spiritual. I used to bash organized religion. I find myself more and more open to... evwrything.
Life is ups n downs. When im down, I feel like its the end, I cant imagine feeling as bad or how things could possibly get any worse. But... "this too shall pass." It always passes. I find joy in life again eventually. I dont blame ppl for taking themselves out. If youve got kids, you gotta stick around for your kids. If youve got family/friends... you gotta stick around for them. I bet youre a strong presence in someone's life. I guarantee theres someone that will be ripped apart if you were to hurt yourself.

Tomorrow is always a new day. We can start over. As long as we're alive, we're still in it. This game of life. Theres always another burger to eat, another fuck to have, another good weekend, holiday with the family/friends. Whatever your thing is... theres good times to still be had.

I always try to remember... no matter how low I go, I can usually remember a time before where I prayed to god to be in the situation I found myself in right then.

I have to states of being. im either living in a state of resentment or a state of gratitude. Maybe sometimes both. A little of both. But its usually one or the other. And its always my choice.

Everybody's mental health is unique. Im just sharing my experience. Im sorry youve struggled with that shit. Mental health is a MFer. God Bless bro

Question of quality of life vs quantity. But man, youre only in your 30s

At the very least, get real in depth blood work done every couple months if you are going to stay on cycle indefinately

Chiron's picture

I think alot of the thinking is “don’t die younger than you have to bro”. But that to me is honestly a null point. I’m more or less looking for personal experiences at this dose or if somebody tells me a personal horror story I never thought about I might reconsider. But somebody saying “it might kill you” just makes me think “man… I’m fucking hungry. What’s for lunch?”

Milfpounder's picture

At first glance this seems insane. Comes out to about 440/wk so definitely a lot. But all told, there's guys here that "cruise" on more than that, plus second and third compounds. It's reckless.

The bigger story to me is the guys depression or whatever. Will probably lead to more and more and more reckless gear use.

Chiron's picture

Oh yeah I see your point. Like I might snowball. Always looking for that next pin. That was actually a fairly deep. I’m pretty sure I don’t have like a chemical imbalance or some shit like that. Like I don’t crash out and try to cope with more drugs and shit like that. And I don’t really see myself going beyond this dose. I was actually shooting for 500mg a week but settled on the 437.5mg because it’s .5ml on the syringe and that’s easy. Literally it’s that simple why I chose this dose. 500 is like to me the maximum I would ever hit. But I’ll probably just stay here. 500 or more is where one study found people had more noticeable issues with using it. So I basically consider 500 the ceiling for myself. And .5ml on the syringe is just quick and easy and keeps things even on a 10ml vile. So this is probably my highest dose. I don’t think I’ll hit some more extreme depressed state where I suddenly think that more testosterone will make everything better. I already know it actually might make everything worse. So I don’t think that’s much of a concern. I appreciate the input though.

Milfpounder's picture

You getting bloods at all buddy?

And have you ever truly given a cruise with a dialed diet a chance? I'm being completely honest, a high end cruise and macros to match can get a guy legitimately large.

Good luck to you man. Stay safe. Hopefully you stick around the forum for a while and make some frickin gains.

Chiron's picture

No bloodwork. I just ordered my cholesterol tester. I check my blood sugar when I’m on HGH. I was planning to go do blood some time soon though. I didn’t before I started which sucks but oh well. I’d still like to see what’s going on in there after 5 months in this dose.

Overall I eat pretty healthy. I was a fat kid when I was a teen. I will say caloric surplus is something I struggle with. I just can’t eat that much unless I’m really eating dirty. And then I get the calories just not good calories.
I basically just stick to eating healthy. I get the macros to like maintain my weight and get my protein. But I really struggle getting excess for the gains.
Honestly idk if I will do HGH again because of this. I have a sweet tooth. Plus just the level of diet restrictions I was dealing with and my raised blood sugar levels especially in the morning. It was just more trouble than it was worth in my opinion. Plus it just made it that much harder to get calories.

With that said I typically eat right (not perfect) and I have done lower doses before. I’m pretty healthy. Really this just comes down to the feeling. I’m just happier. Was mostly wondering if anybody else runs this high long term. A lot of people are just telling me not to do it. It’d be cool if someone told me they did it or do it and maybe gave some pointers on things to keep an eye on. Or shared a personal story positive or negative that either makes me think twice or maybe makes me feel like I’m not the only one. Idk. The more you know. Ya know?

BigCoachKen's picture

If on test only, id want a minimum of: Hematocrit, blood pressure, APOB, hs-CRP. And obviously test, free test, ultra-sensitive estradiol. At least every 8 weeks.

Its been said already, some guys "cruise" around what youre running, with blasts along the way. But they keep up with their lab work and adjust accordingly, either with pharmacueticals or protocol changes.

So im not telling you not to do it, im telling you exactly what to keep an eye on. Thats why I recommended the bodybuilder panel from Goodlabs, it includes everything for a decent price

Yeah I wish I did it before starting. It was just going to be another cycle until I just figured. Why cycle at this point in life bro. Just take it.
Mostly for the estradiol. But it will still be good to know where it’s at or if something drastically changes later. Plus I don’t take an AI. So really it doesn’t matter too much. But I should have done it before. I definitely appreciate the tip on goodlabs though.
I also donate blood so I get to see my hematocrit when they do that but I don’t get a breakdown of anything else really.
Dude I seriously appreciate that goodlabs tip. Thanks.

True. It is. I’m just fishing for personal experiences. Like maybe somebody will tell me something that makes me think “fuuuuuuuuuuuuck….. that’s craaaazy. Let’s go ahead and lower that dose big dawg.”

Milfpounder's picture

Unfortunately, a lot of the time when guys start going downhill they just disappear. But there have been guys that have run into lots of problems, and contrary to what you might be hoping (that test eventually just kills you outright) it more often than not is a slow burn. Like you have massive health problems but are still alive In a diminished state.

It pays dividends to stay healthy. Truthfully.

@press1 who was that guy on here recently, long time user that was mentioning that he was on 50mg/wk or something like that because his EKGs said his heart was failing?

BigCoachKen's picture

Well there are going to be side effects long term at that dose for a prolonged period. But maybe not, maybe your body handles it well. I will only reiterate, get blood work done pretty often, like a full bodybuilders panel (Goodlabs.c o m).Ride the wave until your markers turn, and make the real decision then. Hope it goes good for you, just stay on top of it.

I saw you mention jumping to another source. That source you mentioned is fucking awesome and packs a bit more per ml than what you got now. Just so youre aware.

*also, source talk in these open forums is frowned upon. FYI for ya

I just looked it up. Thanks so much for that goodlabs bro. Definitely the most affordable and I think there’s a 20 percent off code on my first order. I basically have no excuse not to at this point. That’s massive. Thanks bro.
Appreciate the input. I guess I thought that meant I couldn’t ask for sources and stuff like that. Just because there’s like reviews and stuff so idk… regardless. I’ll do better in the future with that. But thanks for letting me know it’s quality.

I’ll probably do testing more frequently at this price. And I’m hitting the 6 month mark soon so I was feeling like i should probably do it. Especially before my first tren cycle. Thanks a lot for that.

Milfpounder's picture

True. Lol he was more or less making a statement moreso than asking for help.

About to say that second half. This dose will feel great, until it doesn't, then the dose goes up.

In a promo × 2
Chiron's picture

Well I don’t see why it would go up. I’ve been taking it for months now. The available evidence shows that it does not downregulate the receptors meaning you don’t need to increase the dose for a better feeling. It’s not like opioids or something. You don’t increase it to get that first high. The only thing it would really increase is size. I think people are coming at this from a drug addict perspective lol. “Oh look. Another drug addict”. I smoke weed but I maybe have a drink once a year. If that. I’m not that guy lol. You should’ve seen how bad I shook just trying to pin my cheek for like the first 2 months. When I did a cycle of T in my early 30s. I’m just not that guy lol.

I wasn't meaning to imply that you're a druggie. I know for me, each cycle feels less intense, and after a while, that great feeling sort of plateaus. But if this has been and is working for you and you plan to just continue this way then I'd strongly urge you to get regular bloodwork.

Yeah bigcoachken just pointed me to goodlabs. I’ll definitely be getting labs for that price.
And I don’t think you were calling me a druggie I just notice alot of people keep framing in that sort of sense. And I’m sure a meth abuser and test abuser have some similar traits. I just think that that’s not totally where I’m coming from. And I think that testosterone is a “drug” but that over generalization of DRUG is sort of blurring the lines of the discussion. Like taking testosterone is fairly unique compared to majority of other drugs. So I think talking about it like it’s not or like it’s just another drug or it works like other drugs. Sort of just takes away from the conversation about testosterone and takes it to DRUGS which is just an over generalization and the vast majority of what I say about drugs in general doesn’t apply to testosterone specifically.and I’m not saying you’re like the guy who does this. I’m just saying I’ve been here a short time and have seen a lot of people inferring things like you’ll sort of be chasing your first high. And that’s not even really how test works. But I also do think there are definitely a lot of people here with substance abuse issues. You’re probably not exactly a little angle if you’re ordering and injecting things you got from strangers on the internet. And I think that the sort of druggie mentality gets conflated a lot in some of these threads. I’m like “well you shouldn’t have to do more.” Kind of in a way I’m actually saying the mentality you have is actually more druggie. No offense. I’m not saying you are a druggie. I’m just saying that’s how one thinks lol. Like that thought that you will need more and more to feel better or hit that initial first high is actually the druggie mentality. My mood has only improved the higher I go. With that said you also have to understand that you don’t just always get that the higher you go like with other drugs. Other drugs make you chase a high. Test makes you want to elevate the high you are already at. There’s a difference. And there is a point of diminishing returns. As well as it being way worse feeling the more you do. So it’s just very different. In my opinion at least. Based off what I know. And hopefully I didn’t sound like I called you a druggie. I’m just trying to clarify that I think that I see a lot of drug addict thought processes when reading on here. And I just feel like it’s sort of toxic framing for the true discussion at hand about test. And maybe you weren’t saying it like that and I just took it that way because I’ve seen so many other comments like what I’m talking about.

Well its not exactly just a druggie mentality. Its a fact that your body always tries to reach a homeostasis. The elevated test levels with exogenous use becomes your bodies new norm after it figures out how to stabilize itself.

Uhm… no. As I explained before it does not work like that. You don’t build a tolerance to test like that. I literally already explained that two comments ago. Just sayin. The only thing an increase would do is increase the results. You don’t chase a high. That’s the whole point im literally making. It does down regulate receptors. Evidence literally states the exact opposite. It upregulates the receptors and makes even more readily available. That’s literally my whole point. You and a lot of people think it’s like the same thing and mechanics as opioids, stimulants, or benzodiazepines. It’s literally not. That’s literally my whole point. I even explained that in my first reply to you. But somehow you still push this idea that it has an effect literally the opposite of its actual effects. Idk how to explain it any better. That’s literally why on TRT they change the levels of test you take until everything stabilizes. Many times those changes are to lower the dose. The dose is what matters. Your body will not build a tolerance to testosterone. Plain and simple.

Ummm no. I didn't say you build a tolerance. I said your body tries to reach homeostasis. Which is what you basically repeated back to me in your last few sentences. Are you a troll?

I think what’s happening here is you are conflating homeostasis with tolerance. You are somewhat describing a real process but drawing the wrong conclusion from it.
Homeostasis / negative feedback - natural production shuts down; levels stabilize around whatever exogenous dose you’re using.
Tolerance - the same dose produces less and less effect over time, so you need more.
We are talking about the same idea but the conclusion you are drawing from it is incorrect causing you to conflate it with tolerance.

I think whats happening here is that you're wanting me to be talking about tolerance and I'm not.
