Summer EBC Free For All 2013
HERE WE GO ! The summer free for all will be just that, a free for all and you will get to choose what your goal will be.
I will say this, it would be smart to use a standard goal such as recomp, cutter, bulker, stage ready etc etc etc. To just make up a goal that's not something standard might actually confuse a judge or all judges in that nothing to compare it to, nothing to reflect on. Stick to standard goals in fitness/ body building and it will serve you well.
Follow the compettion rules, give me 5 of the poses below with one extra pic containing the USA Today (6 pics total).
Give me a brief yet precise description of your cycle and goal and then BOOM, GET TO WORK!!!
- Opening pics deadline will be July 5th, 2013 at midnight CST
- Closing pics must be identical to opening and deadline is September 15th, 2013 CST.

I confused the young bros at the gym this morning by using the rack for squats, they were very unsure of what was going on because as far as they know the rack is for bench press and curls monday-friday.

lol I will too if there is noone around wanting to use it , my gym has 1 rack and 1 olym bar ..... Im shopping for a new gym this week I cant take it anymore!!!!!!
waltrmine has 2 luckily, although i was doing shrugs in the rack last week and i wasn't sure if the safety bars were gonna hold the weight up or not. they kinda looked like they wanted to fall off, the gyms all ivanko equipment too so it's not cheap stuff either
Nothing wrong with that, as long as your curling 105 lbs +. But when your standing there just curling the bar.... LOL ;-P

Try switching up your rep scheme\weight. maybe throw a static hold in there on your last set, or negative accentuated, using a 6 second return after each curl. Shock them bi's.
waltrI'm gonna start hitting a couple sets after i do my fasted cardio in the morning a couple times a week and see if i can bump the weight up on back/bi day

Great, I will check them out periodically. Wouldn't mind seeing what everyone is up too.
Personally I think updates should be mandatory! It keeps the EBC alive and in peoples minds, shows the benefits of the sources gear you are representing, and draws people to their pages. It also helps to motivate the participants seeing where the competition is at, along with a visual record of your progress so you can tell the Exercises\Nutrition and Gear are taking you where you intended to go, or do you need to make adjustments. I tend to push a lil harder when I know I need to post progress pics!

Ace VenturaI come down on both sides of this. As an outsider, I enjoy seeing the progress throughout the contest. However, I also enjoy a good surprise at the end. The good ol' "Holy Shit!" moment, if you will.

I normally post updates to my page, starting week 2. Slick and I have been competing with each other on the side and he normally posts his up there also.
Yep I will be. Like Meister said we usually add weekly or bi monthly updates and link them to our EBC page.

That's what I just finished myself. The day after chest day I have remind myself that I hit pecs hard because my chest feels like its being ripped open by my sternum. It always gets me. I start to thing "am I having a heart attack" then I remember nope I just had a killer chest day yesterday.
Well, this morning I did a 3 hour cardio session and tonight I did a Chest and Back routine

I was watching finess model marc fitt on YouTube last night. I'd say my arms n legs are better than his, just need to bench what he does to take over him.

also, carbonated beverages will make you bloated - just a tip for when the final pics are due
I plan on treating the day of the pictures no different then contest prep. Sodium load, sodium deplete, carb load and diuretics all in the works for the last week my brother.
It's just a mental game brotha...you will get past it...I'm only hitting 1,700 cals right now with carbs only pre workout

Yes you are right but that is the price I pay for eating a box of cookies everyday prior, I am in a nearly 2000 calories deficit plus added cardio and never mind the heat. but when people like you remind me it is mental it motivates me, thank you sir, lol.
