250 grams of protein a day should be plenty. How many calories while bulking?
I have IBD, Crohn's. Someone correct me if I am way off base, but protein is absorbed via your small intestines. So someone with Crohn's encounters this issue not someone with UC, or colitis restricted to your large intestine. Now, if you have the wrong diagnosis and your small intestine is also inflamed this could be applicable.
That's pretty much my understanding too.I guess there's probably a fine libe in terms of how they label it, I've seen plenty of patients diagnosed as Crohn's/Colitis.
I've got a contact that is an IBD specialist, I'll drop him a line for you.
Any certain food stuffs that cause flare ups?
