TRT on Proviron (Mesterolone)

ad

I realize Proviron isn't typically advised on its own, i.e. not taken in conjunction with anything else such as T.

However, I'm natural have a high total testesterone (922 ng/dL or 32 nmol/L), but also high SHBG (60 nmol/L) with both FSH, E and albumin in normal ranges. While musclebuilding has not been an issue, libido and mood/depression has. I believe the issue is the SHBG binding DHT. I've had some effects with Creatine at 12-15 grams/daily which is suspected to increase DHT conversion, though disputed.

I considered a conservative protocol of Proviron (Mesterolone) at very low dosages (12.5 mg/daily) with 1 off day a week and then 1 week off every 12 weeks and then start over. The dosage is really low but my impression is that it either works or it doesn't so might as well start with a minimum effective dosage.

Thoughs?

UPDATE
Proviron at still just 6.25 mg has led to symptoms of low T like fatigue, insomnia, anxiety and loss of libido. Worked amazingly a few days ago, did an off-day and after I had 3 consecutive days of feeling like hell. I'm doing bloodwork tomorrow to see if this is present in those, but think this is it for me. Maybe Proviron is only to be used with other compounds and I might consider a TRT protocol with Proviron as an add-on as some other users have reported in the past. At least I kept the dosage at a minimum and I've only done 3 weeks so I can't imagine it to take very long to get back to baseline.

Felt obligated to also share the downside. Shame this wasn't viable.

UPDATE
Doing just 6.25 mg/daily in the morning with weekly off-day. Even at such low dosages I've had amazing effects: mental clarity, confidence, focus, libido etc. all noticeable within 2-3 hours. Feel really good!
I'm guessing the effect at such low dosages is due to having plenty of total T being unbounded. Don't know if effects are transient or if I'll need to increase dosage over time but will see.
Only side effect is that my testes feel a little bit smaller and at times cold which does worry me a bit.

In my case I'm doing pretty much all of these natural interventions already

Saw this forum post and fear the complications when I stop taking it

https://www.eroids.com/group/the-gyno-experiment/some-thought-yes-i-know....

"Its not advised that Proviron be used when not used in conjunction with another steroid, as it too is quite suppressive of natural testosterone, leading to all sorts of future complications upon discontinuation. Ranging from loss of libido or erectile dysfunction all the way up to infertility. One would not be aware of such dangers because Proviron fulfills most of the functions of normal levels of testosterone."

according to this study, mesterolone does slightly lower FSH,LH and total testosterone, however if its taken in combination with clomid you might get increased FSH,LH and testosterone in combination with the mood benefits of proviron.

I bought a pill called "intex PCT" that combines clomid, tamoxifen, and mesterolone at 15mg

I suspect my testosterone levels will end up increasing even with added mesterolone

Which study is this from?

Great, might give it a try and return with feedback. My main concern is tolerance towards Proviron (hence the low dosage and breaks) and that I would only be worsening the problem in the end.
Looking for a permanent solution so any short term effect that Proviron might have has no interest. But I do seem like a perfect candidate for the drug.

This would be an interesting experiment. I say, what have you got to lose? It sounds reasonable
