Hi guys, new here. I'm 40, am avid lifter and I just came of TRT pellets. I awaiting my pct of HCH, clomid and armidex. I would like to get back on T at some point. I was weighing doing it by myself, posting bloods here and getting y'all a feedback. I get the feeling that most TRT clinics are kinda scammy. I wish I could find a good one in my area. Even if I did it's too far and out of my price range. It looks to me like most don't recommend doing it on your own.

Well I have a blood work update. To get everyone up to speed I'm 40 and I started trt Feb 16 til dec 16 when I had my last pellets of test cyp put in. I decided I couldn't afford it so I stopped. I was worried about getting my test back up so decided to try the power pct. I got Bloods before I started.

My advise is finish the PCT for a full 6 weeks. Most guys are using the Novladex and the clomid together with the HCG. Then after another month get your labs done and see where you are.
NotNatural23I would prefer to not get pellets to much plus I would rather do it myself. especially if you cruise and blast. You ever seen the commercial with the 76 for cybergenics? Anyways I called to see if insurance would cover it nope. Cost was like 4000 for first month with all tests and testosterone and hgh then over a 1000 a month from there on. I guess if you were getting like 8ius of pharm grade gh might be worth it. If I was rich I would go to a anti aging clinic in my area run by a bodybuilder who has competed but I can't afford what he charges but he knows his stuff does free consulting.
Agreed I recently found family doc who will do IM in office TRT so to speak free so they are out there as long as you have instructions some will even do HCG. and labs 2-3 mo apart is accurate .
DCHI1I used a clinic. They do bloods then put you on the program. Test E or cyp 200/wk. AI at .5-1 per week. HcG at 250iu 2x week plus fish oils and liquid b12 cocktail (carnitine/B vitamins) plus 5mg cialis daily
Everything shipped to you from compounding pharm. Costly so I basically just DIY after a few months.
Same protocol just buy direct. Only difference is I up the T with some added prop and do 2-3x smaller mg weekly injections.
Bloods run every few months.

When you upped the testosterone dose you went from TRT to cycle, it is that simple, but seeing how you have "been in the game a bit", you would know that.

curious who defines if its trt or a cycle? You KMC? If a doc prescribes 100 cyp Wkly is that trt but when another doc prescribes 250 cyp is that now a cycle?
Or maybe a clinic offers a nice lil blend, say prop plus cyp/E or sust. (As some do which I'm sure you know being "advanced"). Is that a cycle? Or trt... is 275 mg a cycle? 300?

You said it yourself "doc prescribes", you go over what they prescribe, your now on a cycle.
The number of newbie around here claiming they have low T and want to self prescribe a cycle seems to never end.

NotNatural23Find a good family doc who knows about trt. Mine does it all for free and only requirement is bloods every 2 to 3 months. even when I had test in the 5000 he still kept me at same dose told me to get it down by next bloods. He had a cop who use to work for him who did aas and even tried to sell me some winny pulled it right out of his pocket. I played dumb and was like what is that? I have no idea what that is. So I am sure my doc knew about cycles and stuff. Anyways just call around and ask some family physicians and see if they do trt. Most likely you won't get on it unless you are under range but a good doc will know to give you some if you are super low but within range. if you had 306 and range was 300 1100 he should put you on if he or she is knowledgeable. You can have really good care using trt clinics actually... defy medical is about half the cost of those bullshit pellets and the Dr who runs that trt clinic is one of the leaders in Pioneering hormone replacement.
Hcg , dim, test, and bloods all total about $200 a month.

But in no way would i recommend do it yourself trt.
Elite hrt is not bad either both are mailed to your door i recommend defy tho
Has DIM worked for you? I would favor a more holistic / naturalist approach... but tried DIM to no avail. My TRT doc put me right back on arimidex @ .50mg biweekly. Result: E2 back in range. Bloating subsided. Libido on fire again with plenty of morning wood.
Curious if anyone out there is running TRT and having good results with DIM as an anti-estrogen preventing aromatization?
I'm prescribed arimidex .25mg twice a week but at 160mg a week test I don't need it

Everybody is different, but yeah no need for it at TRT doses. My doctor gives it to me reluctantly. He says it is really harsh. I tend to agree with him, especially given his 40+ years as an endocrinologist.
I am on TRT. I tried some DIM and I felt no difference as opposed to Arimidex. Threw the bottle away. Honestly, DIM is about as natural as diesel fuel.
Number 1,.......... get some bloodwork done.
The TRT clinics are NOT much better than some of the Sources.

Well most family practice Drs don't know about TRT and he seemed to shrug off me even asking for a test. I ended up being at 297.
Please explain your situation a little more. Who prescribed the pellets? I'm assuming your pct of hch is actually hcg, but who prescribed that and why? Why do you want to do this by yourself?
The pellets were prescribed by a TRT clinic. I was at 297 on Feb 2016. My last pellets were put in Jan 2017. I am planning to take HCG, clomid and Nolvadex as A pct. while I try to figure out if I can swing the 200 a month for trt
Also I've been seen this advertisement about royal medical center which will send you to a place for the bloods, give you 200 cyp a week and 100 iu of hcg and some type of anti estrogen. All for 195 a month. I still think I could get it done for half that monthly buyin it myself, doing the bloods myself and having y'all advise on the posted bloods

Well my regular Doctor doesn't approve and won't prescribe it to me. I went to one of the se low T clinics. It about 45 minutes away and they just don't seem totally up and up. It's a nice clean place with friendly people but it's more about making money there. I paid 2,400 for the year and they have over billed me 900 which they say is removed but the charge contusion show. They didn't even give me HCG or an anti estrogen which I've been seeing I need

They insert them underneath your skin around the waistline but the only good thing i can see is its once every 6 months (maybe it was 3 but im almost positive 6)
Sometimes these pellets will work their way out or get infected and i do not see how the blood levels can be steady.
Its like 12-16 little pellets in your ass they said you might wear your wallet in your frint pocket because itll irritate them
