+ 1 Clomid vs HCG
ad
I’ve been researching the hell out of this and can not find much in the way of supporting information. Even my go-to’s like PubMed are void…
During my last TRT checkup, my physician made the suggestion that we drop my HCG and replace it with clomid. Part of his explanation was that clomid tends to have less effect on raising estro levels.
Thoughts? Personal experiences? Reference material?
Thanks in advance!

RustyhookerTrt..... real dr or the clinic? Where your bloods at? Test dose
LMAO… After you squared my ass away last year, I’m seeing a real doc!! My test dose is 125 mg/week.
RustyhookerApplause +2!
Makwa noted thoroughly below. Not much to add but good luck in your endeavors!
you can check this https://www.eroids.com/forums/steroids-qa/pct-anti-estrogens/nolvadex-cl....
it helped me a lot
do research on forum topics aswell bro
Thanks for the link, Boa! That is great info for PCT. I’m not on PCT, which is where I’m having a difficult time. Seems very few use clomid while on TRT. In my case, HCG is prescribed to maintain fertility
They both stimulate production of LH. Are you currently having estro issues?
Estro has been a peaks and valleys proposition for several years now. Had no e2 concerns for the first five or so years, then bam.
He mentioned clomid has a greater effect on FSH which will also help maintain (possibly increase) fertility.
Well if you are having estro issues then he is correct. HCG can cause spikes in estro. How much were you taking?
250 week
I can't imagine 250iu/wk causing any issues with estro. Some guys get moody on clomid so watch for that.
Thank you kind Sir! Definitely will watch for that… Moody ass wife on fertility drugs and me on clomid might get explosive! Lmao
He’s struggling to identify the high estro too, which is where swapping in the clomid comes from. At this point he feels this is the culprit even at such a moderate dose.
I would be curious to know if you SHBG and free test levels have changed. Just a slight change in diet with certain foods and vitamins can lower SHBG which increases free test which can increase aromatization.
Free T: 180 pg/mL
SHBG: 28 nmol/L
Are you seeing fluctuations in those along with the estro spikes? There might be a pattern developing then.
Hmm… I see where you’re going there. I’ll pull my labs for the last 18-24 months and graph them out! Thanks, Makwa! Stay tuned…
