OK as of late there has been a mountain of rubbish talk going on in threads that just detracts from the whole idea or purpose of that thread. It's unfortunate that this has happend so I have decided to open this thread. If you don't like what someone has said redirect them here and have it out in this thread, and that will keep the original thread moving in the direction intended. The idea I think is in the original interest of ER in that we are all here to assist others and keep the negative crap out of the way. So here it is.

I just thought I might bump this again with a bit of a gripe.
Well it seems that our Draconian country with all out Govt officials seem to be doing too bloody good a job. Not only do we have customs checking and scanning all our freight coming into Australia but we also have Border Force as well conducting ocean patrols and all sorts of shit to try and stop anything coming into our otherwise awesome country.

ok so i kept on getting these emails from steroid-forums. they tried to sell me steroids threw my email(by auction), and it was getting me pissed off. i couldnt figure out how to avoid getting these emails.
and here is how i solved the problem:

tread-mI had to fire a guy who made me a faithful promise he was off the bottle once and fell off the wagon later. So he calls me one night and said he was hungry and I picked up some food for him and took it to him.. as I arrive and walk inside his apt this MFer is drinking RUBBING ALCOHOL!!!!! I said Nooka give me that shit I can use that for pinning fool!!! Lol no I didn't say that but I climbed on his drunk ass pretty hardcore, I guess natural selection may not be a terrible thing. I really did feel for him, he had seizures after a head injury in high school and the worry of them drove him to drinking and he just never got over it. He's only 48 yrs old now and I see him walking around town from time to time and looks like a 70 yr old! I still feel the need to help people but I'm old enough to know they have to want help and be willing to help themselves.
They claim to be synthetic coke, but these designer drugs are a bunch of chemicals with harsh side effects. If you think about it bath salts are closer to meth than coke.
I have done a shit load of good coke and never ate someones face off.
It wasn't necessarily the bath salts that caused him to do what he did. He had excited delirium syndrome. It is most common when people use coke or meth. It's also more likely if a person has had extended drug use or mental illness. This is by far the most extreme case I've ever heard of. It may be that these bath salts have more harsh side effects than even meth. I think only time will tell. However, excited delirium syndrome is nothing new, but the cannibalism aspect is.
Look i've smoked this shit ONCE....ONCE was enough!!!! ...and I've done som hard shit in my time... and 3 hits of this shit I swore id never touch it again or let anyone i gave a shit about ever try it! I'ts that bad!!!
I've heard that from others. I'm not saying it's not bad stuff. I was stating the cause in which people take stimulants and strip down and have bizare behavior is called excited delirium syndrome. It can be caused from numerous drugs.

It is. Google excited delirium syndrome. It might explain it better. Someone can use coke once and get it. Most people will never get it from any of these drugs, but it does happen. It may be possible that excited delirium syndrome is even more likely with these designer drugs, but there isn't enough research to know that for sure. Like I stated before this is by far the most extreme case I've ever heard of. I do think that says a lot.

First of all the moral of the story is don't smoke bath salt because, well, you may get your face eatin off. But really, do any of us have anything to bitch about now? I can hear the convo now with this guy when he hears you say "I really had a bad day, traffic was horrible". then he says "oh thats terrible but it could have been worse, I GOT MY FING FACE EATIN OFF MFER SAVE IT!!!!!!! So I say to girl, how bad is your luck that you could have literally been anywhere on planet earth at that moment in time and you were in the one place where the possibility of getting your face eatin off was possible? Shrap just showed me the pic online...I have seen some rough shit in my line of work but that is totally indescribable. The first comment I made was how in the hell is someone going to live like that. All I saw was a eyeball not in the correct place, and the structure where the nose was...I don't know what amount of reconstructive surgery could ever be possible to ever resemble a human face again. It makes me feel like in this case it would be better to give him an overdose of pain meds an let him go in peace...just my opinion on that...but damn, we put animals down for less than that. I just can't grasp the whole damn event...
They are considering doing a full face transplant from a cadaver. The county is paying for it.
I'd hate to be a loved one or friend of the cadaver... Minding my own business at a sidewalk cafe and see my dead friend or relative walk by.

It is very much an experiment. It seems a little unethical to experiment on someone like this. He was not on the drugs too. He was homeless and happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. They still can't find any family. It seems like they are helping someone who was an innocent victim to a crime, but at the same time they are doing experimental surgery on someone who really doesn't have a say. It's all pretty crazy.

The homeless man who was attacked was taking a nap under a bridge when the other guy ripped his pants off and began to attack him. Do some research before you start to speculate.

Anonmaybe in TX they have "special" shelters and parks for homeless people but in large metropolitan areas the homeless people sleep under bridges...where ever they can find a spot
Oohhh, ok. I was mistaken. I thought I had read that they were both on bath salts. And its so true, he obviously cannot make his wishes known as far as treatment is concerned, and there is no known next of kin to decide, so I imagine the medical team are having a hayday. Such a terrible tragedy for this poor soul all the way around.
The dude has a sister. She told the news that she thought he was dead because she hasn't heard from him in 30 years. And this is how she finds out he is still alive. I don't know what's worse: thinking he's dead or finding out he's alive with no face.
Wow, I hadn't heard about the sister. That's crazy. He probably suffers from mental illness like many homeless do. I hope he gets the help he needs to manage his mental health issues along with his new face.

K2 is the fake weed they are smoking. Bath salts are supposed to be like synthetic cocaine. You snort them. It's basically like legal meth since it's just a bunch of chemicals. I saw a report on 20/20 about the bath salts 6 months ago. My younger brother said the use of this synthetic crap is reapply popular with younger people. My friends 17 year old son is pretty cracked out on it. He did something really stupid last week while on it. He's now going to be serving prison time. Sad shit!

Yeah, it's been really hard on her. The story has been in the media and people who don't know her keep bashing his parents. It's sad. I know she's a good mother. I just don't think these kids know what they are getting into. You can buy these drugs at gas stations. She hasn't bailed him out of jail though. She's holding strong. She knows it's the best place for him to learn his lesson right now. As hard as it is on her I'm happy she's doing the right thing.

Listen I had the best parents on planet earth and I miss them more by the day but I was a little asshole holy terror hell raisin crazed maniac for years but the point is, I returned to the values the raised me with and raise my kids with those same values. We teach them and guide them and at some point they will temporarily stray from the learniing to experience their lives and find their way. So we just hope he makes it back to what he knows is right and Moms done all she can do other than just love him. I'm guilty of attacking the parents sometimes and often its not warranted you know. She's your friend so she has to be a good Mom!
