+ 11 Eroids = Helping, calling all Bodybuilders

ad

Just wanted to issue a public challenge to the so called Bodybuilders who post in the forums. How about you throw a lifeline to these members who are asking for help about gear. Instead of just posting about how they don't need to run gear but to diet and train harder. How about you post a diet and a training program along with your condemnations. If you want some respect around here as a member who actually contributes to the less informed or less experienced your going to have to do more than post a sentence or two about who should or shouldn't get cycle help. So far not many "Eroids Bodybuilders" do much to help around this fucking place. All I see is selfies!!! You're not helping a soul by doing that. Quit thinking only about yourself and boosting your self esteem with adoration. This place used to be about helping people. I haven't seen that shit in a long ass fucking time!!! If all eroids is now is about posting these "come fawn over me" selfies then every other forum who says this website is a fucking joke are all right!! You want respect? Put up or shut up in the forums!

PS: I need help making Eroids the ultimate destination for all AAS users. We used to be inclusive. We need to go back to educating and building members up not scolding them and tearing them down. Thanks to anyone willing to devote their time making Eroids better

hey Carlos welcome back hermano. I do answer a lot of people through PMs. I hate to say this but a lot of the times I see people helping around the forums regarding bodybuilding issues and most of the time they just get slammed for trying to help. Thats why I usually stick to PM, its like a one on one session. Its kind of similar to being in the gym, if you go around trying to dish out advice to people they think your coming across as arrogant or being a douchebag so I don't really say anything unless people specifically ask.

I absolutely love this post. My first cycle ever before I found eroids was super dmz which is superdrol for 60 days with no pct. Ya fucking scary. I was only able to learn when people gave me real feedback and not crucify me. Great Post Brother.

Dang Carlos, I don't think the BB segment of the board acts unpredictably within this community. If u can't post up your cycles and get review as a BB cause of the danger it presents to young people - and I realize there is a group for that but for some weird reason there is little participation - then as a BB u don't get the same benefits from the eroids experience that others do. If you have been at it a while as a BB then some of the things you do are even Taboo Topics on this site. I can understand that as well. I keep saying the same thing over and over again - the eroids site is not geared toward meeting the needs of hardcore users at all. So, it the BBs don't seem fired up to do ministry work in the forums all give and no get, I wouldn't get on their case about it. I also think the BB segment here is small, so it makes no sense for eroids to rearrange they way it does things to serve such a small interest group.

I see your point. We all do a lot via PM though - diets and training and such along with gear. I gotta laugh a little though - Training - I can hear it now - "I know a lot guys with great legs, GearHead, and they don't squat anywhere near the kind of weight your talking about." Blah, blah, blah. Carlos, every aspect of bodybuilding requires a level of discipline and commitment that few want to give. Diet and training. My favorite is Ronnie Coleman - "Everyone wanna be a bodybuilder, but don't nobody wanna lift no heavy-ass weights!"

I use to post a lot in the forums and help as much as I can, now it's pretty much all through pm's... people are afraid of getting flamed, I guessed... I'm always happy to help in anyway.. got a question? Diet not on track, having trouble with your macros, maybe training needs a tweak HMU... I got a few articles I'm working on now, about to get back into the forum myself, just needed a break on my end bro... Good post! +1

I need to right the shit I write for people on a wordpad or something I spend so much time writing up nutrition and workout plans.

Dickkhead's picture

Dr. Danger, I did send you a FR but no response. I had some questions about all this I wanted to ask offline first. Unless of course, u don't like me anymore. Crying. GearHead. )-: )-:

i for one have no issues expressing my knowledge of anything onto others, but first i need to feel 100% confident in my own knowledge before i lay it on the line.

I dont know if its happening here but ive seen on NUMEROUS other forums.
people asking for advice, say on a compound. here comes a member preaching whats best but hes never done said compound.
or training
or nutrition
matter of fact he looks like crap and is first to spoon feed the crap to others who may or may not believe said member.

everyone should always help others but we must be careful where we tread at times. im not pointing fingers and most bros here seem to speak from experience.

actually i think i did just come up with someone here ive seen giving knowledge to others. it sounded decent but then i saw this persons pic and thought to myself, can be passing on such advanced knowledge.

pers me, im going to listen to mods, pros, adv and anyone in general that sounds like they know what they talking about but i will always then do my own research.

sorry for rant.

I've always thought of Llewellyn as a research scientist and not as a user.

I misread your comment... at first I thought you were saying he needed to be big to be believed.

man this must be serious if even goth is here, so in my opinion me i see my self as an amateur bodybuilder thats why i do npc shows for begginers and amateur, and then there the real pro the ifbb guys, which im lucky enough to be best friends with one and thats were u listen for advise, on another note u can learn from anybody every day, i know since ive been on eroids my knowledge basket has become immense, man im always willing to help, i never insulted or pointed fingers at guys with no knowlodge cause one day i was there also. hey mexy nice thread by the way, intense and to the point.....

italian92101's picture

no bro just somone thats been in the game 9 years and competed for 4, u know if i can help with knowlodge i give my 2 cent thats all...................

7gothic's picture

Yeah....and the NPC doesn't drug test if memory serves correctly.
The NPC is great because it gives the amature guys who don't want to be natty a place to compete. And by Keeping it open to guys who choose to use gear, it weeds out guys who look like they have never touched a weight-----or food.

italian92101's picture

totally true, but goth to be honest im busting my ass with everything cause final goal is getting my ifbb pro card even if it takes me 20 years, all or nothing for me........... nice seeng u goth....

7gothic's picture

Same to you bro....

7gothic's picture

well...... First off, lets get something established right away----

There are VERY few "bodybuilders" here on eroids. Unless, of course, youre going to count just anyone with the balls (or lack of shame) to step on a stage and call themselves a bodybuilder.
And most of the bodybuilders I've known (several on the national level) are not exactly the most intelligent of souls---especially when it comes to steroids. Grrrl has a customer right now who was on the cover of Flex magazine back in the day, and his knowledge of anabolic steroids is pathetic, considering his success in the sport.
I agree with you Carlos....guys here who have done well and have knowledge should impart that knowledge to others. And there does seem to been an Adonis complex present here----but then again we are talking about bodybuilders-----a group of people with the need to absorb attention like a sham wow.
We have some great bodies here on eroids... but I haven't seen one single guy here who has a snowball's chance in Hell of standing with the big boys. I know that will piss some fragile egos off, but genetics are genetics---if you have freaky genetics, it's going to be very obvious right away. A lot of IFBB bodybuilders would have smoked any guy here by the time they were 15 years old.
So yes, we could use more advice here on eroids ----but just because you're spotin' a six pack and delt striations doesn't mean you have any to give.

IrishMack's picture

I could only dream of being that dedicated as some of the bodybuilders I know. And as big but shit, some of us are here to learn and gather information. I have ZERO plans to ever compete. I want strength and not too much size and godamnit where is my 6 pack abs? everyone has a reason for what they do, whether it's for comp, or health, or dick dragging. I do it because I feel good about myself; I am stronger then I ever been. I see some here are doing it for pro status; some do it to see who can piss farthest. This field we are in brings with it all walks of life. We have a few that generally care; we have some that will rip you a new asshole before you can finish your sentence. I try and give everyone the benefit of the doubt but we are all human and get caught up in the moment. It's passion, everyone here has it.

7gothic's picture

True....I agree with all of that.....but please just don't call yourself a "bodybuilder" in front of bodybuilders.
It could get ugly very quickly.

IrishMack's picture

lol I would never give myself a name such as "bodybuilder." I am more of a "body improver."

7gothic's picture

You may be on to something there...

TheFlash85's picture

agreed, but I think viking is the king of this department, ill take any advice he recommends look at him and his misses, maybe this shit storm could be solved ??? maybe an eclusive 'group' for real bodybuilders run by him etc etc?????

7gothic's picture

Obviously Vike is a wealth of knowledge---but he gained that knowledge from research and epiracle (self-feedback) data.....both of which you should and (at some point) will HAVE to do as well.
Ronnie Coleman can come on here and post his diet, steroid and arm routine----you could follow it to the letter and not gain a fucking THING.
What works for RC may not do shit for you.....or then again it may.

TheFlash85's picture

could be Ronnie coleman or it could be monster666, the fact is proven genuine experience, the problem is as everybody is saying lately, theres bodybuilders using juice aswell as fighters athletes cyclists and even people who are sick, so as the post states, lets get a group dedicated to it with a proven member running it, then there cant be any confusion.

7gothic's picture

Ronnie Coleman and Monster666 shouldn't even be mentioned in the same paragraph....lol

TheFlash85's picture

but that's the point brother, someone who is trusted and with proven knowledge, I understand lately this site has changed, I mean im a newbie, ive been here like 7 months you guys have probly been here 3 years, but I geuss that's the way it is, new people will come and go and some will stay, then theres pricks like me who have an opinion etc, I geuss what I mean is, maybe this shit could be easily resolved, as in yous could have like a bodybuilders section where only those guys post etc etc, like I saw there a new thing for all aas users etc lol then these kind of topics don't get posted and I don't leave myself open for being flamed and regretting it tmoz lol

7gothic's picture

"maybe this shit could be easily resolved, as in yous could have like a bodybuilders section where only those guys post etc etc"

Yep----we have that-----It's called the Advanced Bodybuilding Cycles (or something like that) section under groups.

TheFlash85's picture

yep and its invite only, by an inactive member

7gothic's picture

Well if that's where want or need to be, then I would request an invite.
But just remeber...having big muscles doesn't mean you know how to tell others how to build muscle any more than being tall qualifies you to tell others how to gain height.

TheFlash85's picture

yep that's true mate, bit off topic but yes agreed lol, im quitting now mate, only commented as I have a genuine intrest in cycle advice brother I am going to bed now as its 4 am here in oz, and better get some shut eye, hopefully I didn't offend all you guys, if I did im sorry im just passionate. cheers

7gothic's picture

Australia??
No offense taken......

Catalyst's picture

Anything I can do to help you've only got to ask C.

We need to get away from the "I've size fits all approach", no doubt about it.

Deadlifter85's picture

I agree with this. Granted i dont feel that I personally have the experience to be giving out a lot of advice, but I have noticed lately the trend towards giving out less and less advice. I understand being cautious and needing to make sure someone isnt 17 before giving advice, but its like people pride themselves on just saying shit like "age stats bro" trying to get karma I guess. Its gotten that I hardly bother to read the posts in the cycle advice section cuz all the responses are just "you're not ready yet, or diet more first." I feel like most of these people will probably end up running shit anyway it would do them more good to give actual advice/info than just tell them their not ready and to go do more research. Its frustrating to someone who is genuinely trying. Research often leads to confusion, which is why they are asking for help in the first place. So help them!! Yes the search feature is helpful, but it only goes so far, and you are often reading posts 1-2 years old.
So I for one plan to offer up my 2 cents more often.

Greg's picture

...most of these people will probably end up running shit anyway it would do them more good to give actual advice/info than just tell them they're not ready and to go do more research.

Hollywood has been pretty much saying that for years. You're not going to be able to save them, at least you might be able to keep them from killing themselves.
