+ 11 Eroids = Helping, calling all Bodybuilders
Just wanted to issue a public challenge to the so called Bodybuilders who post in the forums. How about you throw a lifeline to these members who are asking for help about gear. Instead of just posting about how they don't need to run gear but to diet and train harder. How about you post a diet and a training program along with your condemnations. If you want some respect around here as a member who actually contributes to the less informed or less experienced your going to have to do more than post a sentence or two about who should or shouldn't get cycle help. So far not many "Eroids Bodybuilders" do much to help around this fucking place. All I see is selfies!!! You're not helping a soul by doing that. Quit thinking only about yourself and boosting your self esteem with adoration. This place used to be about helping people. I haven't seen that shit in a long ass fucking time!!! If all eroids is now is about posting these "come fawn over me" selfies then every other forum who says this website is a fucking joke are all right!! You want respect? Put up or shut up in the forums!
PS: I need help making Eroids the ultimate destination for all AAS users. We used to be inclusive. We need to go back to educating and building members up not scolding them and tearing them down. Thanks to anyone willing to devote their time making Eroids better

AnonLol brother if that's the extent of what you r willing to do to help these misinformed then you've completely missed the entire point of this thread.
I got a nephew who's 14. He thinks he knows everything. He's a cocky lil fucker too now that his football team just won its championship. Should he ever and I mean ever come to me and ask me a question about life(even if its with his cocky shitty attitude) I would never tell him to look for the answers himself.
Why? Cuz I'm the MAN of my family. I'm the man who my entire family counts on. I'm the man who understands each of my family is different. Some are perfect some are flawed some just don't get it at all. But when any of them need me I take care of whatever it is they need. I take my role as the Man of my family very serious. Honestly I don't think this situation is any different. Some of us feel an obligation and some don't. I hope you feel more obliged to help then to just be known simply as the "Search feature" guy.
BigBmajIt just dawned on me that a couple weeks ago you made a post about being sadistic. You mentioned something along the lines of finding humor in people getting all fucked up by not listening.
Now I'm catching shit for being apathetic. How the times are changing.
Shit just goes in waves I'm thinking.
AnonYep that post led me to getting put in my place. Time does change. Looking in the mirror and not liking what I saw is exactly what drove me to change. Brother how are u catching shit? This is the Internet and not in anyway affecting your personal life. If having a respectful debate is catching shit in your eyes then this debate is over cuz I don't want to be the cause of you feeling personally attacked. Take care brother
BigBmajLet me make something very clear.
I AM ALMOST ALWAYS KIDDING.
I don't take any of this too seriously. "Catching shit" is used very loosely. Catching some flack maybe closer to it?
None of this is personal. Maybe that's why people read me the wrong way. I'm not too serious when I'm talking here everyone. If I am being serious it will be very clear.
How's that?
Edit -
What ever happened this place? It's gotten so damn serious around here these days. Is something in the air? I used to come here and catch a good laugh every now and again.
Searchbar (information) is a great place to start bro.. Not necessarily just saying "use the search bar" but I have on many occasions taken 3minutes to post 5 links onto someones post and asked them to come back with any questions they may have. We already have EVERTYTHING ANYONE needs to know 10xover locked into this database. IMO if they do not have the patience and discipline to take a little direction THEN come back with some informed questions then NO they are not ready to engage in this world
BigBmajWhen my son comes to me to ask a question about something I often tell him to ponder it for awhile and then encourage him to do the research himself. He's only 7 but think about this.
He asks a million questions a day and often is just asking for the point of taking and that's fine. But when I tell him to look it up he does the following -
He learns to spell the word and use google. And he learns a huge amount of additional information in the process. Things that he would never learn if I had just given him a quick one second answer.
So I've taught him to be resourceful and contemplative in the process.
I'm becoming increasingly aware that people read me the wrong way.
AnonExactly my point. You just admitted you don't mind giving these members one second answers. If you're going to say use the search bar then at least guide them what to search. Give them an olive branch and at least guide their research. Just posting a single sentence of use the search bar is just as lazy as the guy not doing research. If you're going to condemn a person for being lazy while also being lazy you have absolutely zero room to talk.
BigBmajI think I have zero room. To be honest bro. I've been lazy in the help dept. I feel like it's such thankless work. I appreciate those of you who help so much around here.
AnonI need guys like you homie. Your knowledge and experience is needed a lot. Don't let the punks ruin your spirit. Trust me I've felt exactly as you feel. And refused to contribute for almost a year. Spent all my time focusing on my hustle. But after talking to Tread Viking and Hwood I decided I needed to step up. Eroids could use you brother. Let's turn this bitch out homie
BigBmajI'm seriously considering this proposal man. I would like to stand up and help. I help lots of people on PM but I could step up my game. It's a lot of work. I have many excises as to why I'm too busy with work, school, family, yoga, lifting. But the truth is that I spend lots of time here just fucking around.
Keep your eyes open. Maybe Ill surprise you guys.
When I first joined eroids and posted a proposed cycle in the log, I was told to do some research (with the search function and was also given some forums to look at) and come back with some changes. I'm not new to gear, but I hadn't done a cycle in 20 years and those were the days before PCT. I really didn't know what was involved in a PCT. I appreciated the advice to research and I took it. I found some great stuff and when I came back with what I found, I received some additional help and direction. I took no offense that I was told to research and was grateful for the direction on how and where.
I have tried to follow this same model when I give advice here, but it seems that almost half of the people either don't follow the direction, or just never go back to their post to show that they've followed through. Regardless, it doesn't keep me from trying to help.
Welcome to MY world :))
BigBmajSomeone I respect told me the other day that I was snotty on here. I would have just laughed it off but as I said I respect his opinion. So I started taking a closer look at things and I guess I see a few instances where this may be the case. But it's almost never my intention.
BigBmajI see many people asking questions that could very easily be answered with doing 30 seconds of research. I'm all for helping people out, I do it on PM all the time. But i need to see some people put forth at least a little effort before I'm willing to spend 20 minutes writing out something that has been written 50 times a week every week for the last 5 years.
If that deserves to be negged than I say go for it. I don't think it stems from laziness but common sense.
AnonFirst of all I didn't neg u. I'm not a rookie and only neg for rule violations which you did no such thing. Don't believe me? Ask a mod to look at who negged you. I hate seeing guys get neggd for posting their opinions. The rules BFG has in place dictate what we are allowed to neg. disagreeing with opinions deserve a retort not a neg.
BigBmajOh I'm not thinking it was you. I know who it was. Not worried about it bro.
It stems from an ago old family feud between me and revenge. His great great granddaddy cheated on my great great grandmammy and we've hated each other for many ages.
It did not deserve to get negged and I get where you are coming from.
I've asked people to do the same with a posted link or links to forum discussions in my reply. Helpful, without having to rewrite for the 40th time a post made 2 years ago.
When rules are bent or broken I've posted the rule in question and the link to it.
Learning how to use and navigate the site is important. Imagine going to the library and not knowing how to look up a book?
it does deserve a neg mate, he flamed me on a post the same as this and nearly started a shit storm, so because a guy with more karma and worded it different to me gets his approval??? I agree with carlosdanger 100% and I read your posts too mate and I respect you, but in reality, we all have the rite to use our choice in upvoying and down voting, I chose to down vote him.
If he or you were being disrespectful in your disagreement someone might neg you.
If you or he are negged just because you disagree -that is wrong and I would stand by you if the situation was reversed.
If you or he follow each other from thread to thread dredging up old arguments in a tit for tat... I've seen respected members get banned for that just recently.
Thank you brother.
I can put the red pen back behind my ear now lol......... +3
just letting you know, I negged you by accident but fixed it sorry. no he has ended up with two more point than he started with, me and him are good, we had problems that are resolved, im quite confident in the reason I negged him being legit, ie why I put it public and not a sneaky dog negg. plus I got it back to him further on. and if im doing anything wrong a mod will tell me, then I will cease.
So you negged more out of revenge than substance...
not for revenge big boy, but for the reason stated, I should neg you for getting involved.
=+ 1 for eroids concern and respect aswell as responsibility and just good help
BigBmajHe's asking for people to help. And mentioning that there is a search feature that could potentially answer 90% of the questions could certainly help.
But I really appreciate you keeping me on the straight and narrow. Thanks.
plus one for good attitude.
AnonWhile i agree with this g
I have slowed down in cycles for a couple reasons... one being it seems alot of times they just want me to endorse the cycle they propose which in many cases is a waste of my time
I know u know what i mean
But ill try to set that aside and put in some work other than what i do in p.m.
AnonI've been there. I know exactly whT your saying. This last week here on Eroids has been a tumultuous one. One of such u believable outcomes that I am dusting off the gloves and I'm getting my ass back to work. There's some heavy liftin that needs to be done and I can't do it alone. There's the EBC which is in full bore. The new All AAS Users Welcome group I'm helping Pank with and all of the forums that need some mentoring. I'm not asking anyone to change their morals or their ideals. All I'm asking is for more to brush aside some of the ridiculousness we see by these misinformed and drop some real posts other that a one sentence your not ready to use sentence. MYbe explain why they aren't ready. Drop a diet or two down for them. Post a training routine for them. And do it in the forums.
You see guys racking up hundreds and hundreds of karma in the self pic section. Which is cool if your willing to take that risk you deserve a few points. But let me also mention that Tread has never posted one single pic. Noid will never post another pic. Hollywood has never posted a single pic. BFG has never posted a single pic. They got every single karma point by what they do and how they contribute. Tread did it by laying a foundation of knowledge for the same exact cocky disrespectful punks WE have allowed to bother us. Is he some Tibetan monk with priest like patience that he was able to put in that much work? Fuck no. Folks don't know it but Tread cN be more mean and vicious than anyone here could ever guess. You don't want to challenge that fucker. My point about Tread is that he didn't care if they listened or not. He did the work cuz he's a boss. Cuz he takes his role as a leader seriously. He felt obligated.
It's time a few of us follow suit brother.
AnonSpoken like a boss
I completely agree with what're you're saying, on the other hand for instance if the question asker is asking a question which has already been answered all over eroids it makes you question their consistancy to take cycling seriously. Also if there throwing up statements like they want to get ripped at but they're at 16% bodyfat what gear to use what else are you meant to say apart from direct them to Viking's diet plan.
This doesn't apply to all I must admit but if you don't feel comfortable giving the asker an answer which ultimately could screw him up if he doesn't take it seriously you shouldn't.
Let me help clear the air! I loosely throw around the term "Bodybuilders" also when I speak on this matter. Why? Because when a Member who posts "I'm about to run Var only at 80mg/day for 6 weeks" gets blasted in the forum, it's always someone telling him "Where's your test base? Where's the diet posted? That fuckin cycle sucks! Yada yada my muscles are big listen to me!" Who is doing that? Who's asking where the test base is? Who runs all cycles with a test base and keys in the diet for excellent gains and uses this or that for that aesthetically pleasing look? Bodybuilders do! So anytime I threw that term around loosely ,that was my motivation. Maybe I shouldn't. I think ANBROHAM has a point. The demographic is not what we think. Far less serious bodybuilders on this site than we think. But there are plenty striving to be bodybuilders and they are the ones parroting the cookie cutter shit! So when I speak on it and ask for a little patience , it's because the guys who are sent to talk to me usually aren't bodybuilders. They are endurance athletes of some kind. Usually it's a combat sport but that's irrelevant. Why in the hell would a weight restricted athlete run a damn test base? All I ask is guys start asking one more question when they ask for stats. "What are your goals?" If he says something a bodybuilder would consider a goal and he's running that var only cycle because he doesn't want to pin, fuckin tear into him but then make sure you pick him up and show him why. All that doggin ppl for being "small or what some perceive as weak, that shit is dead. An MMA fighter can't assess his performance or progress by looking in a mirror. He doesn't give two shits what he looks like. And that is the reason that bodybuilders have been under the gun here. Is it right to drag an entire group of ppl through the mud? No! Of course not. But it's not right to drag the guy who doesn't see things their way through it either. So I think it's pretty obvious what the problem is and the solution is here. A little bit of patience , understanding and humility with each other. This is still an aas site and the are a shit ton of different reasons to use it.
Tech support, when confronted with an issue we don't have the answer for say, "Have you rebooted your computer? Please do that (again) now" Makes us sound smart whilst we google the answer... Doesn't it?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ This is what's up! Overall great response!
But how many of those cycle logs or threads due you see
You see it all the time. So therefor nobody feels like they need to give diet or training advice. Now if you someone tells the OP that they are not ready for AAS and they need to work on diet and routine then the OP gets butthurt and abandons the thread and we never hear from them again. I personally believe that regardless if age people should be told the proper way to do AAS or at least give them as much info as possible. Reason for that is when they see that their told that their not ready they are going to leave the comp and go do it anyway. But I tell these younger guys that the majority of us would kill to be their age and have the natural hormones that they have. That it's better than any AAS ever dreamed of being.
Diet and training advice gets thrown around when they come back and complain that they haven't made any gaind and their gear must be bunk or underdosed.
Right! Always blame the gear!;)
As you said, they start off with my diet and training are in check.. honestly I don't go into the cycles section much anymore. I m rather disillusioned with the amount of disrespect and those that want to say what does she know... it doesn't hurt my feelings, but considering the amount of time I don't have to waste ... I just sit back and watch the show most of the time.
AnonI'd follow you to hell and back. Your mind and spirit still feed me woman. Your words of wisdom still ring true to me.
Maestra, como te quiero y siempre voy a querer te.
You are very sweet... I m still here and for those who ask I am always here to help .. ;-)
I'm going to assume that the term "bodybuilders" was thrown out there as a blanket term used to describe those who lift. I can't say for sure or claim to know but I would guess that only about 25% (if that) of the members here are truly "Bodybuilders" I believe the majority of members are average individuals using AAS to go above and beyond the goals they set or they've reached their bodies natural growth limit and need an extra push. With that being said.. I believe your post should have been aimed at those members, the ones that are here and have been for the long haul (vets, adv, guru, exp) Those members that choose to comment with "Do more reseach" yet do not offer any avenue to obtain the information they seek. People are here to learn... To do reseach... Asking questions I believe is a form of research. Then you have comments like "Are you kidding Bro, you are 20 years old... No way you need to run those compunds" very rarely do you see someone state the reasons why a 20 year old shouldn't run such compounds or how it could potentially effect them in the long term. Also, generally those questions are things that not just "Bodybuilders" should know. Finally, most professional body builders didn't get to where they are by someone handing them diets and or training routines.. The hired coaches and paid money for that information.. And as a professional why would you hand over your play book to what could possibility be your compitetion. Also, the majority of coaches ask you not to share the custom plan provided to you... And how much help would a diet plan written for someone competing bodybuilding be to someone looking into doing fitness modeling. Now, please do not take this as me saying you should not share your knowledge.. Or help with guiding people down the right road. Offering advise, giving examples, and reason why you feel the way you do.. Are far better contributions than just disagreeing. At the same time I feel that singling out "Bodybuilders" honestly isn't fair or really the issue at hand. Members in general should be responsible, comfortable and happy to give as little or as much guidance, advise, nutrition ideas and cycle input as they possibly can.
AnonUr right I used Bodybuilder instead of "Selfie look how beautiful I am in the mirror" crowd:)
Very true and yes some are guilty of this as well. Except the Gurus, the tag "Guru" means those two put a lifetime of info already out in the forums and we can't expect any more than they already given. Only thing left for them two to give is their blood.
Everything you said is true and completely understandable. But we all have an obligation the moment we step into the forums to help and build up not condemn. Bodybuilder or someone else with a pretty little tag next to our names. Which IMO mean very little other than we get free gear more often then others without the tags. Yes its 100% true and 100% the reason why its so important to return the favor. Help those who need it in exchange for being privileged enough to get free gear once in a while.
Anbro you are always are happy and as equally helpful and that fills this place with such light and calm its awesome. I told your man how much I like you in pms a while ago. I knew that my approach would ruffle feathers. I purposefully planned it that way. You see I've literally experienced everything this site has to offer. From being one of this websites first members to being a pupil of some of the best and brightest on this website. From Tread and Viking to Grrl and OJ to Bodybuilder and Noid to Sgtstadenko and Dr Abby. I've been a mod I've racked up more karma then anyone needs. All meaningless. I learned from all the members who lined this joint with game and hustle. I learned a very long time ago that higher ranks mean samples and swag. That's exactly why I felt obligated to post this. Cuz it's simply not possible without Eroids. I feel compelled to push this website back to educating without prejudice. Building up our membership with support and advice. Calling out the lack of our professionals participation. I love them all and would break my back to help them in any way I can. But we need a culture change. We need to challenge our best and brightest to take initiative and be a solution in a very obviously ill-informed climate. I just got done telling BFG that Eroids needs more members who pick up the torches Tread and Viking carried for so long. Their heads and hands are bloodied and calloused. The next generation here needs to answer this call. The members who built this place used to attack the forums like a damn machine. Threads posted all got answers. Questions left unanswered all got papers written on them.
Amor I'm not trying to offend, rather I'm trying to Whip the crowd into a feeding frenzy. I'm often misunderstood beautiful woman. It's my bane and my boon. Mystery to some is an aphrodisiac to the soul. Imagination comes in puzzles and often shines light in the darkest of places. Should I have reached one I accomplish my goal. My reputation means absolutely nothing to me. I have one mission and that's to make Eroids the greatest most informative and welcoming AAS forum I possibly can.
Again, if I offended my fellow members it's nothing personal. I apologize if any felt this was a personal attack. But I will say one last thing to those very same members.
Which of you has the heart and courage to carry the torch that lights our way?
I hope all of you recognize how desperately we need it.
AnonOne thing I want to add that seems to be getting misconstrued. This post speaks strictly to the people who condemn and offer nothing else. Not a single diet to help the person they so loudly and viciously attack because they're not ready. Honestly most the time they aren't ready. Not my point. But they post you aren't ready for AAS and that's the extent of their help. A waste of server memory IMO. Better off not posting at all. If you truly feel diet is the answer post a detailed diet to prove your point. Be helpful no disdainful.
And this isn't an attack on Bodybuilders. Shit bro I love bodybuilding. One of my biggest mentors is the OG of all Bodybuilders on Eroids. The trend that is bothersome of all the Bodybuilders on here who offer very little in the forums except a few posts every once in a while. And they're always the first to say folks aren't ready. Which again is perfectly fine. But how about some real help in place of all the selfies? Is that too much to expect? I mean let's be real if you're a beast and a legit bodybuilder who's active on this website somewhere some Src is feeding you free gear only possible because of this great website call eroids! So pay it back by helping educate instead of condemnate(yes condemnate is a Latin word it means to convict to blame, condemn or find guilty)
I can change the title if it really offends my brother Bodybuilders out there. I love you fuckers to much to have y'all mad at me.
While I was posting you stepped up and made this post... For that I thank you!
Why all the public trouncing of bodybuilders lately? I haven't really been on here much lately with all that I have going on personally but I see a lot of distaste for bodybuilders lately. Did one person's personality rub someone the wrong way or something?
I fully realize that not everyone wants to be a bodybuilder and we all don't use AAS for the same reason. But at the end of the day there are some commonalities regardless. First of all, everyone is here because we share a common interest in these drugs and what they do, either as a performance enhancer or an extension of youth and well being for trt guys.
At the very base these drugs improve the ability to recover and allow us to train more intensely for longer durations. The mechanism of increase nitrogen retention is the ground work for this. That's why guys preach about diet and training (of any sort) over drugs. More protein on cycle...increase nitrogen retention, better recovery. Regardless of whether I want to get bigger, stronger, faster, be a bodybuilder, an athlete, or just a regular guy/girl trying to improve myself I'm going to increase my protein on cycle. And yes, I would apply that theory across the board for all steroid users, weight restricted athletes or not.
I would say the bodybuilder group is fairly well versed in the art of self experimentation when it comes to drastically changing a body image. With that said, the goal of many using these drugs is to alter body composition one way or another. Maybe not to the same degree as a bodybuilder, but a change none the less. Some guys may be speaking from experience when they say stay on the conservative side of things with the drugs and focus more on the other aspects. There is a point of diminishing returns for the drugs. Whether it's not growing as much at a gram of test a week as you may have at some point or tren, halo, and cheque drops not ramping up aggression to the same degree before you step in the ring, cage or field. And when those effects start to diminish you start to chase it harder and harder because you don't want the same par level results that you had, you want more improvements. And when that happens you lose sight of health to chase the extra few pounds on the scale, or higher numbers with the lifts, more endurance, more power behind your punch.
So I guess as a bodybuilder, my take would be to look to the route of caution and work on perfecting the diet and training (whether weights, or athletics). The less drugs needed, the less chance of burning out and causing adverse health issues and injury. I always try and give advice geared toward diet but won't bullshit someone with the drug use or down play the role the drugs play. I've posted plenty honest advice in the forums and helped in pms whenever asked and I have no problems giving someone my take on what to take to help get them to whatever their goal is. My only emphasis is not to use the drugs as a crutch and stay on top of the other aspects.
You would be the last person this would apply to because you clearly help many in every way. I made a post recently about to national bodybuilders I heard in a gym and they were mocking and tearing down everyone they spoke about. I said in contrast to the ones that I have met here who are the complete opposite of this character. I believe it should always be noted that whether bodybuilders or athletes it does not come down to the sport but the individual character of each that participates.
Unfortunately the actions of a few can mold people's perception of a group. In all honesty I would say that what you seen from those 2 is starting to become more of the norm. In the end they are left in the dust because they're the ones shallow in character with nothing to stand on except their physiques. There are definitely a lot of good guys out there, but the younger guys and the guys who have been beating up the national circuit year after year seem to have a chip on their shoulder. The pros in my area are very grounded, humble, good people.
On the opposite side, I know of 2 brothers in my area who are full of themselves. They own their own gym, financed it selling overpriced gear to their clients, and qualified for national level shows by competing in regional shows that they sponsor. They're both regulars on the national level and legends in their own eyes; very condescending to those who aren't on their hype train and even those who are.
Once again my friend, you speak as a true leader.
I was about to post a selfie... truth is that I've only posted a few. And I help as much as possible. If the student is a good one, he gets all he can handle of what's in my brain. Often times I spend too much time on those who just don't want to listen about nutrition or training and only want to know about how to join the roid crew at the gym. Many experienced users are tired of spinning their wheels. So they learn from the experience of caring about those who don't care and they become jaded and uncaring.
It's a two way street brother. If someone wants advice - sincerely wants it because they'll actually use it, there are those who are willing to help in any way possible. I'm one of them. But I will only give what's in my brain. No bullshit. And there's a lot of 'bro science' thrown around by inexperienced members which generally gets called out as BS. Yes, it would be best if all the the posts were culled and filtered to only be of optimal benefit to the one asking the question. But the one asking also has the responsibility of not being ignorant.
Well obviously i cannot give men advice on gear, but i always help all the men that private message me looking for dieting and training help for females they know. in fact i go outta my way to help and am happy to do so, otherwise what wld all these years of learning and training hard be for if i didn't pass along my knowledge....its kinda like pay it forward!
