Cholesterol levels on cycle

ad

Why is it that while on cycle your bad cholesterol seems to shoot up and good cholesterol goes down? from what i have read this seems especially true with tren? can someone explain why this happens or the mechanisms behind this process?

FWIW, I had cholesterol in the 220 range before cycling. I decided to add a little niacin to my supplement stack to help keep it in check, took 100mg EOD. My labs taken during PCT showed a combined 180!, dropped 40 points while on cycle. My ratio stayed about the same.

I asked my Doc about the niacin and its effects, he said it probably just changes the numbers on bloodwork w/o actually changing the risk for heart disease.... He said I could take it or leave it.

Is it a good or bad idea to use cholesterol meds when running a cycle to keep things in check?

Well; I use cholesterol reducers like red yeast rice and also at the same time watch how much of it i take in. Alsao eating a lot of Oatmeal and other grains help reduce the levels as well. I never took any meds for it and hopefully someone who has can chime in.

Testosterone simply put is bad cholesterol, hence why the levels jump on cycle. Here is a linkie and excerpt: I cant excerpt as it keeps telling me I am blocked so read that article and know that testosterone is cholesterol.

I read that but didn't see where testosterone was cholesterol.

read into it. our nuts create cholesterol if our blood doesnt have enough to make test. so more cholesterol, more test, vicious circle. so in the sense of the word test is cholesterol but now im cutting hairs I guess.
