Can someone please explain to me the reasoning behind the protocol of dosing 10iu 3 hours prior to hgh/igf-1 test to check your blood levels? Why wouldnt we want to test our blood levels with the regular dose we usually run? if we are running 4iu per day, why wouldnt it be better to test 3 hours after taking the 4iu to see where our levels are on a realistic basis like we run everyday?

I don't think the dosage matters as much as the time between tests. There are many variables, so if I understand the concept correctly you should go get blood work (base line) then inject and test again in 3 hours. I'm female, clearly I'm not going to do 10iu before my blood work, I plan to do my normal dosage.
I've wondered about that myself.
I had a serum, and igf-1 test done before starting HGH at 2 IU per day. I wanted to know where I was at before I began. I'm six weeks into 200 days of HGH. I'll be getting serum, and igf-1 tests in about a month. I'll post both sets of results in this forum.
Will it tell us anything? I don't know, but it might satisfy some curiosity.
