+ 62 Eroids Body Challenge EBC 2019 Spring Cutter
WAKE THE HELL UP EROIDS!
On behalf of Eroids, BFG and the Mods, I am so proud to be able to announce to everyone that the Eroids Body Challenge is officially back! As I was discussing the structure of the new EBC with Admin, I knew I needed a strong partner to help me return the EBC to glory. I got my wish in spades!!
Please join me in welcoming one of our great members to the EBC Board of Trustees, Makwa! As you might imagine, I was very excited when Makwa accepted my invitation to help me organize the EBC. Mak it’s on an crackin’ homie!
After four long years of hiatus, the EBC has resurrected.
The EBC will have a few new tweaks to it to make it safer and smarter for everyone across the board. From a new prize system to a new scoring criteria. Our hope is to create a structure to make the EBC a regular source of community pride once more.
SAVE THE DATE
Beginning on 3/9/19 at 0000hrs midnight PST the submission button will be active and members can start submitting their pics. The deadline for entry pics is on 3/16/19 @ 2359hrs PST. The competition will run a full 12 wks. You will have a 10 day window to submit your final pics starting at 0000hrs PST on 5/29/19. The deadline for final pics will be 6/8/19 @ 2359hrs PST.
What is the target goal of the EBC 2019?

This goal was chosen to closely follow the traditional season goals. We want to help you get your Summer Bods ready. We also wanted to end the competition with enough time for you all to enjoy showing off the hard work with enough summer left to hit the beach!
Each successive EBC will have different target goals but we will do our best to follow the season and or competition calendar as to not cross any wires and short circuit some of your comp plans.

Makwa and I are still making a few last minute tweaks and the Prize Sponsors are still coming on board. While that takes place please begin planning your season around the aforementioned competition dates. We hope to have a large field of competitors.
Soon you will see an additional FAQ thread to be the place that Makwa and I can help answer any questions you might have. The final rules still need a couple of more finishing touches and then we will post them in the FAQ thread as well.

I can promise you all one thing and that this Makwa and I will work our asses off to be as diligent and accessible to the EBC as possible. This was not brought together on a whim. The EBC is something that has always been a tremendous source of pride for me personally and I’m sure it will soon be for Mak as well. Thanks again to BFG , Pale and Greg for their support.

Get in on the EBC cutter so you can finish your cut by the start of summer and rock your newly transformed body for the rest of the summer.

Is it just a 1st place prize pot? Or 1st 2nd 3rd?.
Obviously we have pros on here who quite frankly can't be beat. And even lads who would qualify for a pro card but choose not to.
I have no intention or am I under any illusion I will place high in the rankings it's more proofing to myself that I can do it and having fun along the way
As far a prizes, I believe there will be multiple placings similar to the other EBC's and not a winner take all. Need to discuss the actual prize distribution with BFG and Carlos but that is my assumption right now anyway.
That is correct. It will be staggered according to placing. Only decision yet to be determined is whether we go too 3 or top 5 like years past. That depends on the total purse.
To the general membership:
I’ve stated in years past the EBC is about the journey. The brotherhood. The camaraderie. The prizes are nice. Hell I won’t lie they’re awesome. But for a genuine article Eroids member the prize is always about the journey and the art of pushing past resistance. The EBC is about personal renassaince.

This is why we live the lifestyle we do. This lifestyle isn’t easy. It’s not supposed to be. If it were anyone could do it. That’s what separates us from the flock. We are a different breed. Cut from a different cloth. We push through while others fail. This is what makes the EBC so special.
Well said mate. I was just explaining about this to my Mrs, the journey, self discipline, challenging yourself and all that good stuff! I doubt I’ll place anywhere near the top 5 but I’m excited for the whole experience with my online comrades

I want to stress that this is not a bodybuilding competition so everyone has just as good of a chance to win as everyone else, pro or not, otherwise we would just be handing over the pot to the likes of Dope or Mr. coolbeans. lol. I believe Carlos and I have set up a scoring criteria (still tweaking it a bit) so that everyone from the the complete novice to the seasoned pro has an equal chance of winning this thing as long as they bring their A-game.

So mak what exactly do I have to do to join
We will be getting out the official entry requirements soon. Basically you will have to submitt your beginning photos on or before the entry closing date of March 16, 2019. Just stay tuned here and we will keep you up to date with everything. Main thing now is to get that date marked as place holder if you are planning on entering.

Excellent thanks brother..I'm in..this will be my first type of competition ever so I'm excited as hell..my cycle timing is off with the timing of the competition so I'll be going for it relatively natty...I'm ok with that

I did all the serious cutting I ever wanna do back when I was a fighter. That said, I was a finalist in a comp a few years back for cutting/recomp and it brought it all back to me, fkn hate it!!!
I would blame my bulk and upcoming PCT/Reboot.... but nah lol

there’s definitely some tricks to be learned if someone were to comb through the old EBC pages of competitors.
By taking a look at the current price pot and the guys who will participate, I'm sure this will be a great one! Unfortunately I'm out, because it can't post pics of myself for safety reason. But I'm wishing much luck for all the contestants
