Alrighty folks now that we have a hard date of opening pics posted in the main EBC thread I wanted to give you guys a place to ask questions on anything you need some clarity on.
Please keep in mind we will not be answering any questions on mandatory poses as Makwa already has a thread posted for that

We will also not be answering any security sensitive questions for reasons way too obvious to mention.
We do however realize that there may be a lot of newbies to the EBC and with the prize purse being what it is, I would imagine you all want to get this right. We do not want to have to disqualify anyone because they didn’t have all of the details needed to be compliant. We also encourage folks who have personal experience in competing in the EBC to chime in especially if the question is about what to expect when posting pics. Any tips for the picture taking is appreciated.
We want everyone to succeed. As an organizer my goal is to make the EBC inclusive and not some secretive competition where nobody has any fun. I want a culture of brotherhood and that means nobody gets left behind. If you need answers come here and we can see if there’s something we can do to provide you all clarity.
We have a little over one month until the EBC 2019 Cutter opens. So ask away!!

Is there a cutoff date for new member???
I ask this because of new (or returning BANNED member) (also promo whores) wanting in because of the exceptionally large prize purse (no Homo on the word "purse").
Well tho the rules are clear I just want to add that this is BFGs site and if he wants to ban anyone for any reason he wants his wishes trumps the EBC rules. So for anyone fucking off doing stupid shit don’t piss off BFG or his Mods cuz your ass is gone and kiss the EBC goodbye.
They hold the trump card and stupid shit won’t be tolerated. Hopefully nobody fucks off but if they do regardless they’re gone. If they behave and take the spirit of this comp to heart I’m good.
Not for this EBC. We are kicking around some ideas for future EBC's though.
Honestly I don't know where I can get a dated newspaper is there other options that we can use to show the date.
I want to compete write but I haven't seen a newspaper anywhere in awhile were I live.
Can anyone help with this situation?
We can't just use a piece of paper with date time and handle?

You don't know where to get a newspaper? Ok, I will throw you a bone. Go to MacDonalds and snag a USA today. Done. And the rules will be strictly enforced. This is a huge pot and you better believe we are going to take everything with the utmost seriousness.
I was being extremely serious if they have newspapers at McDonald's which I'm going to check out and ask I haven't seen one in an extremely long time. They used to have them at the gas stations the market everywhere just not as many as they used to but within the last year I have seen all those spots where they were with the racks disappear it was a legitimate question.
I will start at McDonald's and I will eventually find somewhere I appreciate you helping me out.

Most hotels have some in the lobby.
You may have to purchase if not a guest etc. but another place that will likely have the days news paper would be a public library.

They have them there every morning. But any RiteAid or Walgreens, CVS will have a state or national paper.

I honestly love an occasional filet o fish, but it has been at least 6 months.
Ace VenturaMy go-to’s were always the fish, bacon egg and cheese McGriddle, yogurt parfait, and a giant sweet tea, but now even those give me the bubble gut and make me feel like shit. It’s like my body knows it’s not real food. I eat a lot of bad foods and McDonald’s reacts the worst with me for some reason

drug stores, book stores, hotel lobby's, coffee shops, ihop, denny's mcDonalds, the actual newspaper office...
I'm honestly already on it I found out that the market didn't stop selling papers I thought that they did because the racks just disappeared one day. I asked my buddy who works there he said that they moved them way into some back hidden area and they get the exact amount that they sell every week for that day which isn't much but he said that he would grab one for me when they came in and bring it home.
Problem solved I did honestly believe that I wasn't going to be able to get one though.
This cash is getting up there.
What about tattoos - is there any option of blurring them or is such competitor bound to reveal them (and his identity this way)...?
Here is an excerpt from the new rules:
No doctoring of pictures whatsoever. Air brushing, photoshopping etc WILL be found and you’ll be disqualified as a result. Due to the lack of sportsmanship involved, you my also be excluded from future EBCs.
For competitors with tattoos, you may use a cover up cream to conceal your tattoos. You must fully disclose this on your submission page. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of your entry.
Is there any type of cover up make up that isnt allowed or that would cause a forfeiture of entry? Just would rather be safe than sorry! Much respect
No i wouldn’t think so. I would just make sure it is similar to your skin tone so it doesn’t look unnatural. You want your picture to be easy on the eyes if that makes sense. Any eye sores could impact your judging. If the judge keeps getting distracted by the cover up they might not pay as much attention to the rest of your body. It’s similar to using too much tanning oil. There’s some guys who use too much and others who don’t use enough. Finding the right balance is key. I would try it all out now and maybe post up a pic in self shots and send me Makwa a PM to take a look at it well ahead it the comp so you’re gtg when it comes time.

On that note, do take advantage of lighting. Meaning learn a thing or two (youtube, google) on taking pictures for the best effect.
Yes that is addressed in our rules. Rules are actively being finalized. Will be released shortly. If you look up last EBC then you’ll see where I cover that in the rules of past EBCs

Could post update pics in the pic section if you want but you will only be judged on starting and ending pics.
RivaCan you enter your final pics earlier than at the end of 12 weeks? A 12 week cut is a little excessive. Lets say you reach your peak (goal) at week 10 do you really have to wait till the end to take pictures?
I highly suggest everyone take advantage of the time allotted. I would be struggling myself to get it all done proper in just 12 wks. If your glutes are striated at the 10 wk mark and you think you have peaked, then by all means feel free to submitt pics, but I would take advantage of every day given to you to strip any ounce of remaining fat left on your body before submitting pics. This is the real deal here so my best advice is to just make sure you put forth your absolute best effort by the time you submit pics. I wouldn't be leaving anything on the table for this one.
That’s fine. There’s only a concern of not submitting pics in time. If you wanted to end your cut in 10wks that’s ok but once pics are submitted there is no changing them out. Final pics are final and everything is time date stamped so we will know. You will not be judged until the closing 12wks timeline.

Ed was a judge and did a great job In one of the past ebcs. I believe he is the one that shot down in the open a competitor that was whining about not placing.
Ed is one of the few true blue Eroids memebers. Dude is as legit as you get
