How safe is it to upload pictures here?

I tried to do a search for this topic, but didn't really find anything. Maybe I'm not searching the right parameters, but...how safe is it to be uploading pictures of your gear on here? I uploaded a couple pictures before, but I'm wondering if it's actually safe to have visual proof of possession uploaded to a public forum; aside from the obvious things like showing your face or other details that could physically identify you? What about IP address, and other electronic signatures? Do you guys upload behind a proxy or do you feel it is relatively safe to upload over the open net?

You can easily strip all of the EXIF data in photoshop or other stand alone programs.
If you are that paranoid then u shudnt be doing AAS!!!
crop them
no ID, no face or anything relates to your everyday life
the site removes the geo tags before allowing it to be seen

the gov. Isnt going to go thru the trouble to electronically track you, spend all the money and man hours to find some guy with a small stash of oils and orals. Its not worth it to them they are after bigger fish
It has happened here before . It was about a year and a half ago. If I remember right it was a mod that posted pics of himself. They used his tattoos to help identify him. This was awhile ago so I could be mistaken or it could of been BS ....
I wish I could believe that. I could rattle off example after example of wasted money and man hours by the government, and several more just to snag little fish.
Just take a screen shot of the picture after its on your computer so all the geo-tags and specific camera information is removed. Then upload
