Been out of the life of training and chemicals for long time, making babies and neglecting personal fitness, but consider myself informed as of 2004/5. It appears the market and sources have changed quite a bit. Back in the day, seemed very easy to get products from sources offering pharmaceuticals from publicly traded companies like Organon, Scherring, Pfizer.
It seems the market is now dominated by private labs. I dont mean to sound ignorant but hope to get the latest from the members.
Are these new products made under same protocols such as clean rooms-sterilized equipment. -
Again forgive my ignorance, I am just trying to undertand more as I am a 40 year old man who is anxiously getting his body and mind right and want to use the best and safest. I have this vision of these new labs (listed throughout the site)being in peoples garage or basment, with little to no oversight and certainly no approval or certifications.
Can someone give me clearer picture?
My concerns are grown out of a poor experience I had 6 months ago. I was taking Organon Deca for 4weeks with a test blend. My mood was great, felt great in gym and overall I new the stuff was real. (major nite sweats)
After 5 weeks, I switch to another test product that I wasnt sure about, in fact- I thought it was fake but 'friend' assured me of it.
About 4-5 weeks later I had blood work done. (last deca shot was 6 wks earlier)
The doctor came into the room and asked me how i feel?
I told him over last few weeks awefully tired and depressed (I didnt share my personal use story)
He said he asked because my test levels was only 36 and he had never seen it so low on man of my age. It was then that I realized my Deca was real but my 'friends' items was as fake as I suspected.
I was super pissed and this friend simply told me to take more- lol. I nearly shit myself when he said that.
The Doc shot me up with 200mg cyp right then an there and again in two weeks. Withing that time, my levels got into the 200's. Still on low end.
The lesson really hit home here and its perfect for beginners to learn. If you are counting on all items you buy to be legit and arent getting regular blood work, you can CRASH hard.
I am certain that is what happened. I still havent fully recovered. I came clean and told Doc the news, he treated me for 5 shots of cyp then referred me to endo doc.
He gave me clomid, but I still aint right and he wont help. So now I am going to do this without the docs other than bloodwork.
Question:
Do majority of members prefer these newer private labs over billion dollar global manufactures.
I guess what I am really asking, since there seems to be soooooo many scammers out there, do some of our older more experienced members feel these products are as good?
I come from the late 90's where it was all major manufactures. I mean, is the potency and accuracy of product there?
