How long do people do AAS for?
ad
I was curious how long you guys think people do AAS for? Obviously, there’s a lot health implications with long term AAS use, but it seems like I’m seeing a lot of new people entering into the space.
For some of you who’ve been in the TRT/AAS community for a while, what’s the average persons time doing this? Seems weird to only do it for 2 years and then step away. Especially with some of the feelings different compounds give you and seeing your physique increase.
I’ve only been doing this 18 months and really only have done actual AAS cycles in the last 6 months, so I’m not experienced like some of you. I just don’t see myself going back to my 200 baseline ever again and at least always being TRT.

It’s a mental not physical addiction for many of us. We have to be mature and come off at times, some completely off but most of us opt to cruise/trt. But to ask how long people stay on, the answer is pretty obvious like most of these questions, which is, it depends.
If you get lucky like me, you may find an Undertaker who will embalm you with test E.
On a side note
RIP is an abbreviation
I didn't get on anything til I was 37, had two kids and a vasectomy. Also been shaving my head since i was in my 20s. So two big concerns for a lot of guys in the AAS world, hairloss and fertility, are no concern for me lol. Like a like a lot guys here I'm sure, went from doctor prescribed TRT to UGL. Now I don't even fill my TRT script. I'll probably get back on script at some point in the future when I'm done having fun, but I don't plan on ever being off completely.
Exactly the same here. Except i was 44 started w/ugl and denied trt. But I'll blast and cruise until I can no longer inject myself.

FOREVER AND EVER
Most people that do it for a period of time and stop, even after one cycle, I think a majority of those people also stop lifting forever. Alot of people wanna see what if feels like, live the life for a cycle or two, or a few years and move on to other things for whatever reason. People that stop usually dont stay in the gym Ive found. Very few do. Noway I could to that. My T levels have tested 93 off everything.
Most who start, dont stop. Why people should wait as long as possible to jump on. Ideally wait till your body needs it.
Yeah my TR was 93 on no gear. My doc is very conservative and refused to put me on trt when my levels where 170ish. Later when my labs were at 93 he stated “this is not good for your overall health” and prescribed test @ 200mg T every 2 weeks. Of course that frequency is ridiculous so I do 60mg twice a week which keeps my tt at around 750ng/dl. I’m 70 yo and have been doing this for about 10 yrs now. I feel great, labs are in the ideal range and I still pull me dick several times a week cuz getting laid at 70 (even though I look much younger) is tough. Back in the day when I did AAS the gear was no where near as strong as today; test was 100mg/ml and even Dbol was only 5mg/tab. Consequently, my infrequent cycle dosing was only around 200mg test/week and 15mg dbol/day which was good enough to keep me full and looking like an athlete but certainly not good enough for the stage. Many of my friends who would blast a 10ml vial a week and take a hand full of dbol a day and cruise at 500mg T a week with some orals (just because) are now dead from horrible hearth issues. Long and good quality of life is somewhat dictated by moderation in everything you do to your mind and body. Blasting a bit in your thirties is unlikely to kill you if you keep it reasonable but if you do it for 20+ years you are at a much higher risk;and for what?
Not to be a Debby downer but take care of yourself and zoom out at your life from time to time. Me? I’m having the time of my life snowboarding, paddle boarding, kayaking, biking, hiking biggish mountains, and surfing with my sons and hopefully soon with grand kids….and with a body I’m not ashamed to show.
Man I couldn’t imagine doing one cycle and then just calling it quits unless something health wise came up.

Cruise blast
All time movie.
I think you answered your own question. Hard to come off completely after you see positive changes.
I agree, but I also hear about people being bodybuilders then getting super out of shape. Are they continuing to use AAS/trt during non exercise times or do they just come off everything and feel like shit.
