+ 2 Pec major tendon complete rupture & surgery.

ad

I’ve seen a few threads on this experience but they never update to the final…so I plan on updating and helping anyone out in the same boat. I’m 30, 5’10 now sitting at 205….tore my pec benching and had surgery 4 days later. 5/26/22. Currently a little over 6 weeks post surgery. My right side has atrophied quite a bit from being completely immobilized for 4 weeks.

Current training: legs 2x a week
Left side upper body 2x a week
Drugs: test e: 50mg 3x a week for a total of 150mg
HGH: (nuptropin/angtropin) 2iu @ bed
Hcg: 500iu 2x a week
Tb500: 5mg 2x a week
BPC-157- 1mg a day

Physical therapy 2-3x a week

Diet: pretty clean, around 3000-3500 cals I’m not doing nearly as much cardio as when I’m working my job so my caloric needs are down as well as my appetite.

Thinking of starting some Mk-677…..

Any suggestions/questions/feedback is welcome and I’m going to document my comeback progress and post pics when I get a minute. Thanks all

Definitely struggling, mainly with body image. My wife notices I’m different and I’m using medications I don’t need to be. To “feel better” when it’s only making it worse. I never thought a torn tendon would make me feel like this. Unfortunately one of the more rare and lengthy injuries. I’m trying so hard to keep it together but I’m reeallly not great. Motivation was high until I realized I’m not moving as fast as I’d expect. 15lb dumbbell press max. I can still do heavy legs and I do but I’m just not into the process anymore. Being on low TRT sucks by itself. Ahhh I’m venting sorry guys just an update that life fuckiiiin hits you sometimes. And you may never see it coming. I’m trying to “roll with the punches”. When you’re used to being the one knocking motherfuckers out it’s not easy.

Hang in there. Best advice I can give is do really low weight with really high reps to get the blood flowing, and quit worrying about strength. I tore both tricep tendons last March. The dr wanted to do surgery. I added low dose deca to my TRT at 100mgs a week, and started on Fisetin which is a natural compound that aids in healing. You can get it on amazon. It hurt to bench the bar 6 months ago, last week I did 225 for 12. It will come back... if it makes you neurotic, avoid mirrors with your shirt off...(seriously)

TO @T-Raww18 AS TO NOT KNOCK THIS GUY'S POST OUT THE WAY:

Buddy you gotta try and stay strong with this, you are only just coming up to 6 months now since the actual injury Good From what I have seen its going to be around a year until you are fully healed and can go for things normally again. You have to remind yourself every time you get down that this was a full tendon rupture off the bone and not just a partial, and then a full re attachment with pins. Sure you could rush through things right now and get underneath a loaded barbell again but do you really want to RISK everything you have been through for it ALL to go back to worse than what it was? No way mate - I know I have no experience of what you are going through but I do now have a lot of experience with set backs and minor injuries and they are frustrating as hell!! You have 2 options which are to quit, be defeated and go back to be an average nobody - and no longer care about yourself and have no pride or self esteem OR 2 Be a winner and know the end is in sight, you ARE getting there and will be a wiser person after all of this. All that you have to remember is you are rebuilding that area from SCRATCH and it just takes time that's all Smile Hell I've had plenty of years where I look back and think what did I really achieve this year? Not much at all - we all have them mate even when we haven't got injured. Its just life buddy.

Question? Was there any warning signs before you tore your pec? Like pain or burning? Just to keep everybody safe.

T-Raww18's picture

Hand to god- no. I worked a full day, 9-10 hours of driving and delivering everyone’s certain particular shipping company packs lol…. So I’m active all day, I’m tired but I eat a meal drink my pre workout and head to lift… i may have been a little more tired than usual ? But 315 is what it happened on, and I go up to 405x2 on chest day when I do barbell(Bar-135-185-225-275-315-355….etc.) and nothing else was different. I did come to find out that one of the barbells in this gym was bent. I’m not sure which one I used but if it was that one- I am sure that may have played a role.any legal minds here that know about this stuff? Maybe some thing good will come from this lol. Who knows these days. All stay safe!

Update: up to 15lb dumbbell chest press (to neutral position) and TRX rope chest press with body weight…. No full on push ups yet but my Pec gap is starting to fill out , I’ll post pics later. It’s mostly my front delt that needs to be “fuller” to complete the symmetry I once had. It atrophied greatly

T-Raww18's picture

I wasn’t sure how to post pics IN the actual thread, so I posted some pics on a separate post if interested. And if anyone knows a way to post them here to keep it all in one spot that would be helpful as well. Thanks everyone

My deepest sympathies on this mate - I think this has to be everyone's worst nightmare even when you haven't had it happen to you before. Was it like what happened to Larry wheels friend where the whole peck bolted up to meet the bar? I think I would probably pass out from the shock of seeing it all. One thing you have to absolutely let it do is fully heal and take more than enough time off to let it before you go back to training chest or shoulders again. Being impatient I only waited 2 weeks before attempting to do a light warm up again, I figured how on earth could I reinjure it again using only warm up weights but sure enough on the way back up on a second rep I felt that muscle searing stretching feeling again luckily as I was just off re-racking it and not at the bottom. Wasn't even in the same place as the first tear it was closer to the outer area near the tendon like yours. This time I give it much longer off even though it completely killed me not training properly. I could do deadlifts like every 4th day but it was just boring as hell after a while. I know it may sound a bit crazy at first but one thing that absolutely healed mine up quicker was running some tren ace here and there. When I carried on running Test & NPP the soreness just never seemed to get any better, every time I would reach to the side to get my drink off the arm of the sofa it would hurt and be sore but the moment I ran the tren is when all that soon stopped and it started to heal. I know yours is much different in nature but if you think about it - Tren is a brilliant healer of tendons/muscle and I'd personally say better than any other steroid. What sort of timescale did the surgeon give you in terms of getting back to some light chest training again, I am assuming 4 to 6 months was it? Take care man, wishing you all the best Smile

T-Raww18's picture

Interesting. Tren for tendon healing?! I have to say I’ve never heard that….. I’ve heard nandrolone to be beneficial but nothing about tren. Can you elaborate on that?

press1's picture

I think most people don't think of it because you normally run steroids when you are actively training and breaking down a muscle - then using gear to recover and heal it effectively. Well an injury is just the same, however rather than it being just tiny microtears in the muscle its now an actual tear. But ultimately the muscle will bind back together and become strong again in time. We all know the power of trenbolone in recovering muscle after working out so its kinda just applying the same theory. Because I am not too knowledgeable on tendon reattachment I can't say fully the effects it will have on that. It may not be as advisable as with muscle though, as some find their tendons can dry out on tren. In your case though with it being a long healing period anyway it may just be better to stick with the HGH and other methods you are trying.

T-Raww18's picture

I can see that, I was also doing some research on low dose (real) Anavar. For healing and collagen synthesis. Vigorous Steve preaches alot on that topic. I have little experience with Anavar though myself and the benefits.

press1's picture

Make sure you are getting loaded up on Vitamin C (1g daily) for collagen production and Collagen peptides with added Vit C for absorption. Do some slight spiky massage ball work on the area if it is safe to do so and this will stimulate blood flow through the tendon which tends to be fairly low normally as there aren't as many vessels in tendons as in muscle. When the blood flow is increased thats when you want to drink the peptides.

T-Raww18's picture

Yeah same injury as Ryan Crowley, 4-6 month recovery to be cleared to fully train.

FlemDaddyKush's picture

The only reason you would want to start mk677in this situation is if you couldn't afford to do more hgh. It has similar benefits but mk677 has.more side effects for most people. Mk677 is like poor man's hgh. But good luck on your recovery man.

T-Raww18's picture

I was thinking for appetite and just support the pathway during the day?

FlemDaddyKush's picture

Yeah it could help with appetite, depending on the person(for me it never increased my appetite). And yeah like I said if you don't want to add any more gh you can add the mk677 in for extra support. It's.not going to hurt you.

HanginLow's picture

It will help with appetite, unfortunately it increases blood glucose really aggressively which negates its benefits pretty fast when not taken alternating days or 3x a week schemes

Its kinda pricey honestly I would add 1iu per day of good GH (on top of normal dose) to my stack instead and get more benefits and 100x less sides

T-Raww18's picture

I feel that….. I’m just trying to hold some size until I can train hard again …. I can add an iu of GH to my dose. I’ve always taken it before bed.

HanginLow's picture

Your logic is not wrong man, MK just works better at increasing appetite than endogenous GH. When you look at it structurally it is very similar to GHRP6, and works mostly on ghrelin.

This might be of some interest to you since MGF is pretty cheap because it is worthless for muscle building.

Thank you sir, much appreciated I’ll check it out!

FlemDaddyKush's picture

If you do run mk677 use 25mg a day and buy some p5p(modified B6) because mk can raise prolactin. And try to have a low sodium diet and stay hydrated to avoid water retention and it won't be a bad idea to get some slin pills to help with the blood glucose/sugar

T-Raww18's picture

Dude that explains my buddy’s side effect, he was using a basic anabolic cycle with Mk-677 (only 10mg in the morning) and on a bulking diet which had decent sodium… his socks were leaving indents in his ankles after taking them off. I just thought it was diet but I don’t think it happensd before adding the MK…..

FlemDaddyKush's picture

Yeah some people have bad side effects from mk. I followed those.guidelines I told you about and luckily didn't have any bad sides. And also don't eat an hour before taking the mk and don't eat for at least least an hour after either because it will.not be as effective

Genuine GH is always the way to go

Hope you have a speedy recovery. I sceduled to go under the knife in September for some hip surgery. Interested in how the compounds help in recovery.

T-Raww18's picture

Thank you my friend. So far I can say the BPC/TB has definitely helped with soreness and inflammation
