Thoughts on T-4 Bloodwork
ad
Thoughts on T-4 blood work. Been 1 week on 2 iu ED of HGH. Looks like T-4 is beginning to drop. Thoughts for the HGH gurus?
From my understsanding t4 is converted to T3. Despite my T4 being slightly low my T3 is at the top of the range. Therefore in my simplicit mind I would assume despite low T4 there wouldn't be a benefit to uping T4 since T3 is already at the peak? Am I correct or completly misunderstanding things I read.

anvilThis actually looks good although your out of the reference range by only .1 , all the markers are gold. TSH has been going up as has the T3. I wouldn't mess at all with this at all, looking good my guy.
Need a full thyroid panel to know if it is working properly. Knowing just TSH or T4 won't let you know if your Thyroid is working correctly.
I have hypothyroidism which is the opposite of what you have going on and was put on levothyroxine (T4). It took a few months but lowered back into normal range. I want to say maybe a combination of a little T3 with T4 would work so it doesn't keep lowering it or raise it to much. Not sure on dosage. I would start low on each and check blood work after 6 weeks and go from there.
BysandtrysThere's a bit of confusion about this test.
"T3 uptake" is really not a useful test and is not your actual free T3.
You or your provider would need to order the actual tests seperately.
"Free T3" & "Free T4"
Your TSH looks solid tho
