TRT UK?
Hey fellow oldies.
Pretty sure I suffer from low T. Up until about 2 years ago, I always felt like a dog on heat with 10 dicks. Then all of a sudden, bang, no interest in sex, no interest in life, etc. Borderline depression. I wasn't depressed, just fed up with not thinking abut sex like I used to and not even getting a full boner when I did have sex.
Anyway, I went to my Dr's and went for the blood test up the hospital, when the results came back he just said everything was fine and gave me some Viagra. I used it once but it felt like a lump of wood, no feeling there whatsoever.
I'm not one to hang about in the Dr's so i got out asap. I didn't even know you could ask what level of T you was at.
Anyway, i'm now part way though an online pharmacy, there sending my out a blood test kit.
I just wondered if any other UK men had any experiences they could share with me, either NHS, online pharmacy, or taking Test E etc?
Cheers,
Paul

@40sman, keep us posted. You've obviously got some piss & vinegar in you, or you'd be lying over like a beta male. Testosterone is important, and trust me, if you have REAL low T, it sucks. TRT is for life, and you'll be donating blood, getting blood tests, and pinning yourself with needles. It's a life of needles in you. Nothing fun, but if you truly have low T for real, then having needles stuck in you left and right is better than the lethargy of low T (in my humble opinion). Keep us posted indeed. Rooting for you.
Got my results back today, 6.3 nmol/L. Result:Low!!! Pretty pissed off to be honest, but I guess that's part of getting older. Don't know what the course of action will be as yet, will have to wait and see what they recommend?
Could be something other than low T.
Blood work is the first step in solving the puzzle.
Thanks mate. I've send off the blood for T and Prostate as asked for by the online pharmacy. I'll look into the other tests lie you said when I get the results back and definitely if I decide to do a cycle.
Put the thoughts of a cycle on hold.
Work on getting yourself well/under control.
Even thinking about a cycle is the wrong attitude.
Get yourself fixed up first,..........otherwise you are just looking at a really ugly rollercoaster ride.
Yes mate. I've read up on everything here and decided to put it on hold for a bit. Gonna concentrate on trying to lose some more bf, see what's the results are of this test then if I look at a cycle again I'll do full bloods as recommended. That's the great thing about this site that I like, the common sense advice and article on here and that no one pushes you to do a cycle unless you and your body are ready for it. Cheers again
Sounds good.
this sounds like many typical physicians, America or UK. I would seek a second opinion and maybe try to find a doctor that knows a lot about these particular issues. you could try to get bloods pulled on your own to see where you levels reside before spending the time and money to find a proper doctor.
have there been any other factors that have changed in your life? I ask because you could be affected by psychological factors or physiological issues besides low t that could be causing these symptoms to manifest. factors could include abnormally high stress, break up, change in sleep patterens, change in diet, change in job?
Yes I guess so, bit of stress around hating my job for the past year, but i'm changing that in the next few weeks. My marriage has been on and off for a few years, but that's never stopped me going out getting a boner and sticking it up whatever moves in the past, lol
GnarkillI would go to another doctor he should have given you your results.
