Vitamin B12, pill or inject
ad
I think I'm a little deficient in b12, My bloodwork showed giant platelets. When I googled it, I found that this is not uncommon in people with a damaged digestive system, which I have.
I'm gonna hit up my Dr for some advice next week, but in the mean time I'm wondering If I'll get any benefit from taking vitamin b12 orally. Some say you have to inject it, others say pills work OK. What do my eroider friends think? Should I pop a few pills while I'm waiting to see the DR?

Doc said I didn't need b12, but i could take some orally if I wanted too. He said that if I had a b12 deficiency, my MCV number on my bloods would have been elevated.
Thanks Guys, I'll hold off on buying any b12 until I talk with the Doc.
Ask your doctor if you are healthy enough for vitamin B12 activity. Reminded me of the cialis commercial sorry. Talk to your doctor definitely
Anytime you have a question for your Dr you should wait till you speak to your Dr.

Depend on how your body is processing it.. for me I had better absorption when I did injects over the pills. but either way I will still seek medical advice and let him decide what the best course of action is.
