The government is just to stupid to see a gold mine!

ad

So I was perusing the gear pics and I couldn't help but think about our horrible economy. It occurred to me, again, that our government is just to stupid to see a gold mine right in front of their face. Blinded by all the negative steroid hoopla they've neglected to look into the amount of money being spent on gear illegally. I see people posting pics with like thousands of dollars worth of shit, and frequently. Obviously these rough economic times have not hampered them.
If our government, the USA, was smart they would legalize juice and reap the benefits of taxation to help bail out our muti-gazillion dollar debt... Not to mention physicians would be more willing to help monitor patients without the fear of getting into trouble for dealing with steroids. Sorry for the rant just something that popped into my head.

stl's picture

Yeah but hey lets legalize weed instead cause that make people more healthy right?

Badgoat1's picture

the goverment will never legalize gear and this is my personal opinion. but i believe that in this country anything that legitimately makes you better is immediatley banned dangerous or not. the government does not want healthy citizens it wants fat slobs who just accept everything because they know if we are fat and lazy we wont fight back its why all these chemicals that raise estrogen levels in the body are still legal even though they are toxic as hell.

I agree totally ask your doc for penicillin and get some bs excuse that you should take the shit that doesn't work instead

The government works for the banks and they're already making plenty of cash from drugs.

Not looking to get into a debate here bro so we'll just have to agree to disagree on that one.

Seriously i mean no disrespect to you but you are delusional?....the FEdRes is a group of privately owned international bankers who own the united states, they control our money, along with the CFR, TRI Lateral Commission and the Bilderberg group...

do your own resaerch bec you look stupid when you make comments like you made above....i dont know maybe yr like 21 or something and are regurgitating what you were indoctrinated with in school...or maybe you work on wall street and are drinking the " dumbed down" cool ade to justify the corruption of the ENTIRE industry....idk but someone somewhere is feeding you a whole lotta horse shit!

alayna's picture

That is the point our country was never meant to be OWNED by anyone!

Woodrow Wilson was disgraced after he signed the Fed Reserve Act realizing that he ruined our country and that it wld never be the same and it has not! the only ppl making money are the big bankers...they control our country... you sweety are working for big bankers who could give a shit about the american ppl....look all around you we live in a totalitarian state....we are not FREE we pay taxes every day of our lives and to to who? the banking cartel..which btw the states never even ratified the " income tax" in the 16 th Amendment...so there actually is NO LAW that says we have to pay taxes....the IRS is another outside agency which is not part of our government....please for the love of christ stop reading the wsj and start reading books, and watching documentaries, and listen to pod casts...there is a plethroa of information you are missing...i can only hope you will awaken from the sleep you are in and stop being a sheeple bec yr prob a nice guy and deserve to see the truth...

BFG's picture

If our government, the USA, was smart they would legalize juice

To the interest groups in power, keeping steroids prescription only, is more profitable.

stl's picture

I agree but if it was acceptable to go to your doc and say I wanna get freaky big give me a prescription they would then make a killing

BFG's picture

Of course patent owners play a big role in decision making, but I don't think anyone owns rights to say testosterone itself. Preparation process, solutions, branding, yes but not the actual compound. Can you imagine brewers going down for copyright infringements? Smile
I'm willing to bet "War" on steroids/drugs/etc is more profitable than letting Johnny Bravo order his powders from china and brew some tren, while puffing away on his homegrown green.

riptnhuge's picture

Not only that, but you can go buy guns and weapons of the internet but I cant buy juice where bodybuilding actually keeps me in the gym out of trouble? And yet cigarettes, alcohol, and even pot is becoming legal, but I can't get gear? Makes a lot of sense.

alayna's picture

I agree with the part about the physicians but the last thing Americans need is more taxation....we need to get rid of the federal reserve period the end!!

alayna's picture

you are being facetious right?

alayna's picture

you do know the FedRes was started in 1910 and it is a private banking entity that controls our money and is not part of the federal government and that our currency is fiat currency because it actually has no value there is no gold supporting it... you also know the fedres is what caused the great 1929 market crash and you must know this is what our founding fathers warned us of if not.....maybe you wanna look into who's controlling our country and why before you sing ben benake's praises...

but this is a conversation for another forum Smile

kodiakGRRL's picture

there is no recovery. the "recovery" is media hype to keep the sheeple quiet. we spend too much time saving the asses of the 1% for what? so they can get richer. the whole system is a big fat lie and inflation is coming like a freight train that can't be stopped. I feel sorry for people who have their heads buried in the sand. Bailouts and favoring big businesses are why this country is in so much trouble. they should all fail miserably.

Greg's picture

The FRB is doing a pretty decent job at keeping it around 2%

For now... But my wages have actually decreased, food is more expensive, The dollar is cheaper so we can sell things better overseas (but I can no longer afford to stay there). Non-domestic goods are more expensive. Personally I'm experiencing a 3 to 4% rate of inflation and only getting a 2% annual cost of living bump.

I'm curious however, our dollar is being over printed and devalued. How do you see us correcting this "temporary stimulus"? What do you see happening when the interest rates start to go up and the flow of newly printed dollars starts drying up?

alayna's picture

seriously i highly doubt if you ask the mass majority of Americans if they feel like they are in an economic expansion they would smile all bold faced and happy and say yes....what country do you live in or maybe what dimension because its certainly not the reality of our current day America...and i like Greg, and millions of other americans have seen their salaries decrease...as of january 1 my monthly take home salary dropped another $140, after being decreased last jan 1, in addition to the next decrease coming july 1, meanwhile i haven't had a raise in 6 years ...so pls dont tell me we are in any sort of recovery.....there is no recovery and there isn't one coming! ask the ppl of cyprus or the ppl of the EU where it was just ruled that if a bank fails and you have more than 100,000 euro, they can clean out yr bank account and dont think this isn't coming to a bank near you right here in the good ol united states corp of Amerika

i could go on for days wait more like a year. but i think Oldheads post has been hijacked enough

Greg's picture

Yes I know our currency is fiat, and I'm hoping it stays that way instead of going backwards...

How do you figure going back to the gold standard is going backward? Being fiscally responsible is too old fashioned?

If you look at our national debt. it was on a steady and rapid decline post WWII. Then look how that trend reversed when Nixon took us off of the gold standard in 1973.

We will NEVER pay down the debt on the fiat system.

Greg's picture

Don't mistake me for a fool. I know of all the nuances that go into economies and budgets.

The point which you fail to realize is that without the dollar being tied to some tangible, hard asset such as gold, silver, (or cattle for all I care); politicians will print money at will to avoid, postpone, manipulate, the most current, immediate, economic "crisis". The intent of the graph is to show our lack of discipline and political backbone in managing fiat money. Call it the human element.

EVERY fiat currency since the Romans has ended in devaluation and economic collapse -WITHOUT EXCEPTION.

btw heres just a few alternative media sources you may find informative

This I can agree on... If there was an institution with the proper authority to manage and penalize violators of currency manipulation.

"Pegging" the fiat to some form of "regulation", or value point would be a good thing. For example only X% of dollars to current GDP can be in circulation at any given time.

Greg's picture

You'll get no argument from me here... If only we had leaders with the moral fiber not to make it an issue.

Good discussion, you've made me rethink a thing or two.

alayna's picture

Thank you Greg thats what im tryin to tell him...idk how to post graphs and stuff so many this will help him understand....:)

alayna's picture

If yr an Obama supporter than prob i dont think we should be friends....i was taught if you have nothing good to say dont say anything at all and i have absolutely fuckin nothing good to say about him and for the record I'm not a republican. if u r not then by all means yes.

They already have their hands in on it brother. If you new what I paid for a kit of pharma HGH at my HGH clinic you would shit. Or for a bottle of test for that matter!

Greg's picture

that would generate chump change... kind of like taxing the 1% and claiming it will fix all of our budget problems.

PinPusher's picture

If the government did legalized it, it would be a monopoly. Price would be too high to buy, and they would become the only source. Now if it was legalized in a "free market" with competition than that would be nice...nice dream

Detour's picture

You want to fix the economy? Double income and sales tax and reduce social welfare programs by 30-40%. America might break even on expenses and debt interest, would have to go much farther to actually work out of debt.

PinPusher's picture

The economy and the debt will never be balanced as long as we a fiat monetary system, even a flat tax wouldn't work. The paper dollar is created out of debt and thin air by the federal reserve. If we had a sound money system like a gold standard, which we used to have, than we could. But bankers and the Fed don't like that because you can't create gold out of thin air, neither can you inflate it. Even if you were too pay a million dollars a day it would take you 3200000 years to pay off 16 trillion dollars! Only way to stop the debt is to stop the debt maker, End the Fed.

I wish more people would educate themselves on how the fiat works.
