Pretend Steroids / test boosters!
So I was browsing GNC online, don't ask me why I don't shop there and I noticed their "hardcore" section. I'm not sure why, but I suddenly got irritated by the names of some of these things. It just drives me nuts that they can sell shit that is garbage for 60 bucks probably preying on noobs and people just starting out, but real shit is fucking illegal . It all comes down to making a buck, I guess. Shit these fucking oral things are probably worse then most injectables are. Not to mention the eager youngster may try to take multiple together for long periods of time. Sorry guys , that shit just irritates me.

AnonWent to Walgreens to get my Watson testosterone cypionate and pins yesterday. I decided to wait for them to fill the prescription so I just showered the vitamins and supplements. Jesus, Moses and Jeffry ! There were testosterone boosters out the wazoo my friend. I thought about this thread as looked on with disgust. We have a guy at our gym who feels the pharmaceutical companies try to squash the herbal, homeopathic (what ever you call it) cures. I am a little bit more convinced in prescription drugs than I am in something that isn't regulated. I'm not saying all supplements are bogus by any means but you can google some of te things that are supposed to be the shiznit and in surveys the placebo was just as effective.
are test boosters the same as prohormones, i thought they were different products??
breakingfaceDoesn't bother me much. Every industry has products for the savy and the ignorant. You can buy a bottle of nyquil for 13 bucks or but the generic kind with the same ingredients for 4. Consider it a stupidity tax. You may be educated in the field of supplementation and chemical enhancements so you can see past the gimmicks, but many aren't and become the bread and butter for the legal supplement industry.
I remember when GHB, and Clenbuterol...I believe (??) were sold at GNC. Heheh!
Makes me wonder how many things that are called "supplements" are really tainted with research chemicals or prohormones. I've also read that certain supplements contained prohormones that weren't listed on the labels, causing positive test results for aas for a few athletes who got tested. Imagine...you finish a few buckets of weight gainer, your liver hurts, nuts shrank and you can't get it up because you didn't know you needed PCT. Then you have a stroke or heart attack because your lipids were already high but you figured you were taking a natural supp. OUCH. Yeah, that would irritate the living shit out of me as well!
AnonI agree and there is no one to regulate the authenticity of supplements or vitamins as far as I know. Theres also a dingbat not too far away to tell you that it worked for them.
Me and you think a lot alike OldHead73, even though I'm older than you.
biggerthanyouI'm one of those guys who got fucked up by pro hormones wen I was a youngster. Irritates the shit out of me now. Preach it brotha I know I do.
me too. prohormones that shit had worse side effects than any anabolic steroids I have ever used.
guys at the local nutrition supplement store had no problem selling it to a 17 year old they just said be sure to take "liver support"
There were shops selling many PHs and they had no clue about the effects when asked, except 'it can mess your kidneys up'. Ignorant pricks with their generic answers. Although, the blame can't be placed only on stores, the kids buying them should know better.
lets try 15 year old and you had me way back in high school
same here brotha...try and stop people from doing them whenever i can
