Tennis elbow?
ad
I'm not sure what it is but when I sleep at night and don't move my arm I wake up with the worst pain ever in my elbow. When I start moving it and use it all day it's not bad at all just at night. I take glucosamine and fish oil. Any advice would help. I've tried icing it and heat pads it's getting unbearable at night.

AnonHahaha, sorry to laugh but Ive had the exact same issue the past THREE MONTHS !
If I lay on the left side of bed, on my left side, arm extended out straight it wakes me up with excruciating pain.
Finaly the past week and a half Ive gotten some relief . So Ive got a few things to tell you to do.
Cut the toe out of a sock, get some ben gay or tiger balm what ever you use, apply the balm the pull the sock up over it.
Take 4 advil before bed, and then if you can 2 more at breakfast and 2 at lunch. * a day is fine.
Lastly stop doing curls for a little while.
Ok I will give it a shot. Wrenching everyday I seem to lose my grip as of lately. I hope all of this helps. Thanks everyone for the advice.
I had this exact same thing happen to me about a year ago. It's the tendon right there on the top of your arm by your elbow and it sucks. I tried everything from tennis elbow braces, glucosamine, to peptides. I was mid cycle when it happened too and I decided to train through the pain cause like you said It only really hurts when you wake in the morning really bad. The ONLY thing that will truly fix it is surgery but you can repair the tendon yourself you'll just have to be careful in the future when lifting not to re injure it. What worked for me was a peptide called Thymosin Beta 4(TB500). 5mg once a week for 6 weeks. Inject it sub Q and don't strain your arm for the first week. No lifting for the next 5 weeks. And take it easy and use perfect form there after. It worked for me bro and mine was torn to shit!
sgtstedankoHappened to me once too, brother... Avoid activities that engage the elbow & forearm, Run & lower body workouts for a couple of weeks. While Icing & heating, 6 times per, both 15 min per for two days straight. After that continue heat on the exact same schedule to get blood flow to the tendon. Take ibuprofen to help w/swelling. Get an elbow strap or brace to keep it from getting any worse. After a week or two start doing some simple rehab work on it. Diamond pushups,Tennis ball squeezes, arm rotations, wrist curls, extensions & flexions. Adding in standing reverse grip dumbbell curls, & triceps pressdown. You've got to be conservative with it early, or it will never heal well. Hope this helps.
The shitty part is I'm 7 weeks into a 14 week cycle when I was reading about it. It said it would mess with your grip and mine seems fine. It's bullshit!! I'm putting on lean nice weight and then this. So even though I'm cycling should I stop working arms?
sgtstedankoYes, I would... Do it just like I said, brother. Stop for a couple weeks. Instead focus on legs & core. Maybe something like balance board squats. Do what doesn't hurt. But don't try to fight through pain (especially elbow). Also a great point, by oldhead73 to see a doc, if it doesn't improve after a couple weeks. I remember reading something a while back about docs injecting platelet rich plasma, to help heal. Could be a lot of different shit other too. Ucl, hyperextension, bone chip, etc... Kmi
Thanks for the advice bro and your time. Ill lay off it for a bit.
You need to research DMSO......and then get it..My shoulder hurt so bad that I had pain brushing my teeth. Ice n heat would help n that was a pain in the ass. Dmso 3 days a week for 3 weeks, shit went bye bye.Now I keep a tub of it always.
I totally forgot about that stuff. My dad was using it for a while cause he's worked his body to death. It's for horses isn't it?
I guess its pretty common thing that they use it for but their is crazy info out there on it but I know for a fact it cleared up the bursitis in my shoulder. I went to the docs and they couldnt do anything but offer me cortisone shots which i refused. Dmso totally cleared it up. I ran out of it and stopped using it when it cleared. I felt brand new but it slowly came back and had to order more and then it finally subsided again but I use a small amount now daily. Read some articles on it and so many people swear by it myself included. Shit is a miracle drug man.
I got some at a local farmers store. It's the gel kind it's like rubbing horse seman on yourself! But if it works hell yeah!
Ill give it a shot. Thanks man.
pinched nerve ??
