Freakin reminded me of 1st Ninja Turtles cause they movie was freakin dark too
jayiskthe directors making this episode so dark and blurry did not give my the feeling of horror or impending doom.
it made me squint my eyes at the t.v. to try and see wtf was going on.
the directors could not come up with anything to make this impressive or have a creative vision for it. So they just made it blurry. They could have come up with something much better then darkness and a blurry screen for those parts of the episode.
There was actually a video on why everything looks so dark. They wanted the lighting to be as realistic as possible so they used barely any additional lighting other than candles/moon/torches/other fire etc etc.
I made sure the room was pitch black, turned up the brightness and sharpness on our 4k TV and that helped a lot.

I just setup a new 5.1.2 atmos surround with pioneer elite amp last night. Im only slightly stoked to rewatch that episode again now ;)

The .2 is the overhead front speakers in the ceiling allowing the amp to process as Dolby Atmos. Sure its not the standard 64 speaker config that theaters use but its a noticeable difference from 5.1 LOL

We have the 65" too, 8 series though and a few years old. Our new house TV room is bigger than our old one, need a 75" or 85" to view properly (for me at least) just not ready to shell out that much money.
The Qled that you have is a great picture, noticeably better than the standard LED series.
