I think they did kind of leave a lot on the table with the Night king but then again this is GOT and they love to smack you over the head like that. I also agree with everyone tho that that was an intense fucking episode. Some huge plot holes have opened up tho now. By all rights their army should be decimated and in no way ready to take on Golden Company.
For sure anti-climatic. Would’ve been dope to see a longer battle. But I get it being they had to wrap the story plot up.
It actually goes down as the longest battle in cinematic history bro.
My hunch is the background will come out in the prequel they’re planning. There’s a lot more to the story that needs to be told about the starks and the night king. If they do it right they’ll fill in the holes and make this arc even better. Hopefully
