Need guy advice

Ok so everybody tells me i'm too picky blah, blah, blah. I obviously do not see it that way I see it as i'm looking for specific things and i'm usually willing to give most men that i'm attracted to a chance...having said that I met a guy on POF yest (keep in mind the yest part as you read on) he gave me his # I text him last night at 9, he CALLS me back at 7:30 this morning...I don't answer because i'm still sleeping...he texts me a half hour later...I text back and tell him i'm getting ready for work and that i'll text him later...he then proceeds to call me again at 10 AM, which I work in an office (as per my pic) with 10 other ppl in the same office, so I can't talk, btw I already told him I can't talk at work, so he says he understands...then he proceeds to call me again at 11 AM, this time I accidently answer the phone bec I was in the middle of texting HIM back, at which time I begin to get really weirded out...
ugh so is it me? or is he fucking nuts!!! am I just tooo picky? or is this behavior too aggressive?
he also works for the DEA, and we all know how I just looooove the government and their 3 letter agencies.

I am in the wrong town the median age is 30 :( I do have guys chasing me down but i'm just not interested in any of them...I want that spark that you feel from hello...and yes I do want a man that's in good shape and takes care of himself and I don't think that makes me picky

That has NOT ever been my experience....i have known always right from hello and i have never been wrong! so im stick with that....im a spiritual person so i believe in soul recognition...i wouldn't call it love at first sight but its in that category
AnonWell it only took me 15 years to know I was with my soulmate . I had felt "love at first sight" before and that only lasted about 5 years. As far as soul recognition, well then you should also know your recognition may be clouded at the time you are looking. We dont always see everything upon first glance , many details only come out when you stop looking so hard.
oh and I dont mean to be a dick, but if youve never been wrong then why are you still looking ? The first time you werent wrong would still be with you wouldnt he ?
First lets be clear i am not Looking...im single and havin fun....i do NOT believe that marriage is the epotime of halpiness, which im sure MANY ppl on this site can concur....second, whoever said one love was supposed to last a life time...thats a limiting belief....every man i've ever loved still loves me, but our experience together ended bec there's new ppl we need to meet to learn and grow from....being spiritual has zero to do with any relious dogma...spirituality is about the evolution of the soul...and not to be a dick but it takes FAR more courage to leave an unhappy relationship then to stay in one and have some false sense of security

AnonI don't think asking for what you want is unrealistic, if you've got what it takes to get it. I get a truck and drive it for a good while before I trade it in. I had a Chevy truck with a Vsux (six) in it and I hated that truck but for some reason I kept driving it and kept hating it. A woman ask me: "Why did you keep it?" Probably the same reason we get stuck in relationships when we aren't happy. I think that when we get older we do get set in our ways because we have experienced things that made us unhappy. We realize that about half of our life is behind us and we want to have things that are desirable to us.
Unfortunately there are some BBWs, hillbillies and others on dating sites that aren't going to get what they want. They are going to have to settle for what ever comes their way or be content with being alone. Its not a fair world but when it comes to looks they are going to have to accept responsibility for who they are, hygiene, the way they dress etc. I kissed a pretty woman last weekend and it was just like I stuck my tongue in an ash tray. she has texted me but I just tell her I'm busy.

There is nothing wrong with that at all. Relationships these days are tough it seems like the divorce rate is up and people forgot what family and life really means and what was all about.
I agree it is happening for a multitude of reasons and the advancement of technology i.e. social media has actually promoted being antisocial when you really analyze it for what it is...there are more lonely ppl around the world yet we are more connected then ever....ok ok that's a whole other conversation lol...yah add a spiritual connection to my list of requirements ;0)

I still stand by my old fashioned beliefs that you cannot replace chemistry with a keyboard... I know the "online dating community" likes to believe it increases your odds, but I believe it just ups the percentage of weirdos (and weirdos don't always come pre packaged in a trenchcoat and rubber gloves) LOL! Sure there are some success stories but when you match them to the literally millions upon miliions of attempts every day does it really increase the odds?

well when i accidentally answered the phone this morn i didn't know it was him bec i was in the middle of textin so i was like who is this"? i know he could feel my apprehension, i was very guarded and i couldn't hide it...i had already text him after he called the second time and told him i couldn't talk at work....So before he hung up he asked if i was going to lunch and said well if you wanna call me then id love to talk to ya and i never did...so i think he got the message bec he hasn't text or called..thank god lol
