+ 3 My rant about all the ranting
First I just want to apologize ahead of time if this offends anyone you guys know I love you all. Ok here we go...
Recently it seems like there has been a lot more people ranting about how much they hate the noobs or how they don't like the name of a new ugl or what color their gear is. Well first off who cares if they are selling colored gear or decided to put "pharma" in thier name, if you didnt purchase from them then what does it matter to you? It's all marketing and just cause you don't happen to like it doesn't give you the right to bash them openly where they do business. If this was walmart and you were out front holding a sign that says "I don't like your products" (ecspecially if you didnt buy them) you would quickly get escorted off the property.
Second I think we should take it a little easier on the noob bashing. Trust me I love a good noob bashing just as much as the other guy but just as you were once clueless they are too. I think there is a lot of miscommunication these days as to how to use AAS. And I'm a strong believer in the saying "there are no stupid questions" but I do believe there are a lot of ignorant people but they shouldn't be bashed for asking about something they do not know or were misinformed on.
And finally I feel like some people are just getting on here and ranting about anything regardless to how minuscule it may be because 1)they are just bored, 2)they think it makes them look cool to point out others mistakes, 3)they think they are gonna get some karma points.

You took the words right out of my mouth. This site has been great over the last year because of the overall positive vibe it's had. With the spike in negativity this place is starting to sound a lot like those "sponsored sites" that makes every noob feel like they don't belong.
The irony, is that most of the bashing is coming from newer members (rather "noobish" themselves I'd say)
the one thing to add, though, is those sponsored sites WANT noobs to feel like they belong, to establish trust, then push product. Their product, their commission. It is scripted. How is being a fraud, a fake, a fake friend somehow better than telling someone to do a little legwork?
What's the motivation here to help? If you aren't a source, it is probably because you have something to teach and something to learn.
The only thing you need to come with here is reading skills, reasonable expectations, and a willingness to invest the time to do it right.
All that being said, we can still keep it classy.
There ARE some stupid questions, you have to read the context.
I think generally, if the wrong type of person is looking into AAS (young dude, etc), then the feedback has been blunt, but honestly NO one has said, "Hey you piece of shit, go fuck yourself."
A little humor in life can go a long way. A rant thread is appropriately labeled, and it is just for entertainment. If someone is so thin-skinned to get personally offended by a generic rant thread, then again, AAS isn't for you.
One thing you are right about, is if the person pretty much lays out his story, that should be taken seriously, and I have seen that those get serious responses.
The 1-liners written by "I want everything now" types, if those get flamed, then who cares? The poster put 10 seconds into the 1 sentence . . . at least get some entertainment out of it.
I personally have done things incorrectly and the last thing I want a serious, dedicated personality to do is make the same stupid mistakes.
Well said brother,if posts are read correctly and are sensible the guys are queing up to respond well,same with the funny stuff which to me gives us all a break from the intense serious lives we live.
Problem is lately there has been a lot of numb questions being asked and they are treated with instant disdain because it seems never ending, i do understand some members frustration,a good question sometimes is like trying to find a needle in a haystack IMO

This is supposed to be an area for people to access info, when you get wankers trying too bost their own self esteem by putting someone else down I almost lose my shit. Guys pull your bloody heads in. Where would you be now if you never got any help fom anyone. Unless you have been training for at least 10 years you are a noob. This iron game is a 10 year apprenticship so give some people some space. Yeah some people ask stupid questions to alot of the members on this site but the question is relevent to them. What this sport needs is less ego and more assistance. The more prople that get involved in the iron sports the better off we all are.

Exactly mate. When I started there wasn't even Internet. I would love to have had all this info available to me back then. And yes you are 100% right on the guys not thinking that things don't apply to them. I am more than happy to help someone who is genuinely interested in learning and listening. There wasn't even PCT back then bro. Could really call them the dark ages of AAS.

Itotally agree with that,i open said posts and close them without leaving any comment,front page of eroids is where everybody should start,i lurked on here for 4 months before i became a member,had 3 srcs dialled in orders recieved, gear used,before i went near a review board,just a little common sense makes for an easy ride.
