Idiot at work
Ok so at my workplace there is a guy huge into bodybuilding. I was really into kickboxing since 15 and started weight-training at 16. This guy goes to Olympia every year and takes a host of steroids yet he seems to be frozen in time in terms of progress. He doesn't squat or deadlift and makes every excuse to do easier versions of exercises. I tried to point this out in a friendly way to try to help him but he is extremely defensive and childish. I just started going to the gym again a few months ago after a 2 year hiatus and I've already surpassed this guy 3 weeks into my first test enanthate cycle (before the stuff kicked in) and with muscle memory alone put on 20 pounds. Even before I started my first cycle he said I can tell when guys are on cycle etc....
Suddenly infront of my coworkers he goes off and says how I should man up and tell him something. He says "do I have to get them (work) to do tests on you". I try to brush him off and explain the muscle memory thing and I don't even rebound on him being on everything under the sun. This jerk-off was just trying to heal his ego and embarrass me so I almost lost it. There are several occasions like this where he tries to argue with me without having any knowledge about a subject and just acts like a baby when I expose his BS. Any suggestions on how to put him in his place next time? I have been very calm and polite but next time may have to put this clown where he belongs. He acts very friendly in front of me but with other coworkers will talk smack-the thing that bothers me the most.
Anybody who can relate?

zewiJust be thankful it hasn't kicked in fully.. that conversation might have been different...lol like a headbutt to the nose..stupid fuck stick is butt hurt--i think its great...
AnonThere are always going to be people who "know more, or know it all" so if its not him there will be another.
Perhaps other people realize this about him too, and just by his own actions has discredited him self. I wouldnt worry about it he will destroy his own reputation without you having to prove him wrong. It is annoying to have to put up with though.
Yeah, I normally only kill hookers, but sometimes a guy has to get out of his comfort zone.
You could sneak over to his house and while he is asleep choke him with a telephone cord.
bro when ever that happens i just laugh and say thanks man u just paid me the biggest compliment saying i must be on roids.. (lol even tho i normally am). im honest with 90% of people about myself taking gear, dont normally give a fuck, if they wanna judge me on that then its their loss, but yeah at work and some family members im a bit stand offish with coming clean about it
naguib123I can relate to this.. lol..this how lost my recent job due to something similar, which im not at fault..playing war at work is the worst thing in my opinion. mainly because your co worker/boss will look at u at a trouble maker even if its not your fault. best to just avoid this guy at all costs in the gym and at work. if i could give u any advise, is for u to swallow ur pride, give him a fake apology, give him a complement now and then. and just avoid him, don't try to talk about anything other than work and just be busy.
he feel inferior to u and he is intimidated by u. so why fuel his fire. show him that ur not a threat and kick this hater to the curve
double post srry
Yeah... Same crap happened to me.. When I had never even touched a steroid I got accused of it for making my gym partner look like a child.. not purposely but I can't hold back to make every one happy.. I had added loads of weight to my bench and dips so he proceeded to tell every one we knew I was juicing and that's why I gained weight and he didn't.. (he's also one of those crossfit/p90x pricks).. Diets to keep a skinny man's six pack and never eats to get big.. So he's the same size he was as a teenager after so many years LOL.. The guy you described and my friend both seem to have little man complexes and can't STAND for others to one up them and are in dire need to be the biggest but usually end up somewhere in the middle or smaller range compared to every one else.. Jealousy and spite mah dude.. Just ignore him.. If you lay a finger on him or get mad well... Then he calls roid rage etc.. and you just end up getting more pissed off.. Treat him like the child that he is and don't acknowledge him.. works for me.
CleyonI have a co-worker that does something similar. Sad thing is, he was the guy I started going to the gym with when I first decided to get back after it. He's also the guy who introduced me to steroids. He did the same type of thing the other day in the lunch room, while I was eating my home prepared meal, and he was scarfing down a cheesegurger. My response was, "well if you got to the gym more days than you missed, and started eating cleaner, then maybe I wouldn't have been able to pass you."
It got real quiet in there.
I work with politics like crazy. Just stay away from dude. He's not growing because he's full blown addict. Tweekers do the same blame game crap. If you act out....it proves his point. Try n avoid dude.stay in busy areas of workplace. Standard drug tests at work are the weed...pcp...meth....etc. Sorry bud....lots of asshats out there
