I like your post bro. I was ones of those newbs that got shot down for my questions. When I first posted I only posted my height weight. Never mentioned age and got shitted on with people just trying to put me down. My motivation level to get shit done is still like a Marine. So I didnt let that get to me. I blocked all the bs and took the advice of other member who actually gave me the guidence. I never knew you couldnt run two orals in a cycle until I was told. I am now on my 4th cycle and I have made it here because of members like yourself tread-m. I thank you and I do wish more people would consider that there is no such thing as a stupid question. Hell what someone thought was a stupid question that I asked actually saved me from causing damage to myself.

Everyone is new at some point in time. If we, me included, would spend more time helping and less time criticizing then I think we could avoid the direction this site is heading. Because a certain way works for you it doesn't mean it is the gospel IMO. Great post bro

This is the best post Ive read on here. Period! I myself have been both back slapped and flamed on the same thread for the same question. My first question was, "Why bother doing dbol with your first bulk stack if testosterone is King." 75% of the guys applauded the question saying they CANT give a reason because there isnt one. But....theres no middle ground here....the other 25% acted like I was an escapee from a mental asylum and should research more before I ask "stupid" questions and waste everyone's time. That was my FIRST EXPERIENCE! First post, and still 25% of you guys cut me no slack although I still say 1/3 of you cant answer the question correctly. Then in another post someone says I should be ignored because I smell like "bacon." Meaning a cop. And half of the guys started calling the other half nuts for even saying it and when I chimed in and politely introduced myself and gave them my bodybuilding history about how I used to work out in Lou Ferrignos gym in the 70's and have been around a loooong time(Im 54) yuh know what I got back?

I also think moderators should be making out and out rude guys past a certain point apologize or leave. I know thats a hard concept for some of us to swallow, but just because this is the Internet....that dont mean everything goes. Hey nice post! Good insight thanks! I agree people should have the right to ask questions just because they may sound stupid to you. It might not be to them or anybody else. Or they wouldn't be asking it in the first place. Knowledge is power so is growth and humility. ;)

Couldn't have been said better. I am new to eroids but not a total noob with aas. I do have a few questions I've wanted to ask and post but was honestly worried I'd get burned, banned, or told to fu*k off. I came to this site for help and to have any questions I might have answered because I dont have the knowledge or experience like a lot of you guys do. This post makes me feel a lot better about asking a question and not worrying about looking like an asshole. Thanks for looking out for guys like me. Be safe brother.

Agreed 100% The problem I see is that the word is out about eroids and you have a ton of new blood here. From some of the posts I have read most newbs don't have a clue, 23 and running tren, using 2 orals in a cycle,running multiple compounds out of the gate. When I first came here over a year ago the majority of members were seasoned vets now the beginners are dominating the sight. The majority of newbs are young and clueless and are taking the easy way out without trying to reach their goals naturally and as statistics show will most likely not have what it takes to make this lifestyle a life long commitment. You are also right about keeping an open mind, this is a science that is not perfected yet so as scientific evidence changes our thinking must also. If not like anything else you become a dinosaur.

This is a common problem on most forums today, I guess the whole BB community has lost it's patience lately or we're just flooded by jerks...

Not sure if this amounts to anything. I've been reading up on gear since June of 2012. I've done a little dabbling here and there but no other forum has made me feel as comfortable about using gear as this one has. I've been reading through a variety of forums on here and I've been apart of other sites with forums. The same problem arises in all of them. It's the few individuals that can lead the way as you do to step back and think of the little guy THAT makes people stick around and not feel as if they ate a waste of time. Being in the Military this happens also but there always is a place for teasing and making fun but there is also a time when people need legit help and don't need to be belittled by everyone in sight. I appreciated the words you wrote even tho I'm not who you speak of just one of those who you are defending.

Hey old dog....I dont pop up that often anymore. But ill say that it has become a problem and honestly my lifestyle has not allowed me to educate people here as much. Ive been so busy. BUT...Tred Everyone has to have that first driving lesson. The only differance is that you cant pay to have that lesson most places. As far as im concerned this site makes it possible for new guys to make a decision on gear or at least how to use them. Everyone has been the new guy at one time or another...Sure some of us didnt have the information we do today. It doesnt mean eveyone new has to suffer because we did.

Love your posts, always something informative or to get the mind thinking. I have really appreciated this board and used it to educate myself and ask questions to ensure I am taking the best appraoch to attaining my goals. When I joined this site, very shortly after I had my Karma taken down for defending myself and one of the sources here. I have been out of the country for 8 years and have lived, worked, partied in nearly 50 countries. I am educated, serious about my health and the compounds I put in my body and think I have something to contribute on many levels. Sadly though, after being "shamed" for defending myself I have instead become more of a lurker instead of a contributor. I love this site and need the experience and advice of others. But it seems if there is the slightest rule breaking then you are on the way to being banned. Thanks for all your contributions, I truely enjoy reading them.

Ill say i guess i never saw it bad. I lurked for a long while before signing up to do this newest cycle and one of the greatest precipitators of that decision was the level of knowledge here given freely. Perhaps things can get rough a bit, but compared to somewhere like bb.com where you will get shredded by any and all if, for instance, your diet has one extra calorie, or lacks a calorie, or both. That place is toxic and by comparison, eroids is like the tree of knowledge without the pissy little snake.

Excellent thread, i agree with you 100%, I am new to this site and i find a lot of posts very informative, However the first post i made on here, i was ripped to shreds, not by everyone but by most that replied. Was it a newb question? Probably, I should have took more time to understand my question before a posted it, but if that was the case, then i wouldn't have asked it, cause i would have already known the answer to it, and then i wouldn't have looked to Eroids for help. See the circular pattern i'm making with this? If someone asked a question, or needed help with a cycle or info ect ect, and posted for input, most people should interpret that as this person is still learning, and is wanting to gain friendly advice, regardless if your advice is taken or not, its still there for a purpose! Negativity does nothing but, make them feel stupid or deter that person from asking for help again, or at least on Eroids(At least that's how i felt at first..) Everyone has to start somewhere, and every single person reading this right now(yea, im talking too you was a newb at some point in his/her life. What if the roles were reversed, and you were that person asking for advise? Would you want to get hammered on every newb question you asked, or possible mistake you made? Not only are we pushing people away, potential good members, but we are also hurting our suppliers by running off a lot of their possible business clients. If we never have any diversity then we can never grow! (sorry if i've offended anyone or broken any forum rules, just had to get that off my mind while it was still fresh :P)

Hello old friend. I hope you are well and it seems you are. I left for a while due to the scorching that was being given and the constant ridicule of others on here trying to learn. I only wish this site was available to me at a young age so I might not of made the mistakes I did early on in AAS. It feels good to be back and thanks for the thread.

I came to eroids for help on my cycles and advice on other subjects. What brought me to sighning up with eroids and no other site, was the fact that eroids was far more personal. It was a community that seemed a lot like family as tread says.
I myself started off a little rough, but I began to make friends that I can't make anywhere else. Which kept me here, I will admit I have been pretty harsh to some, but 99% of these people became my friends. Which all they needed was a little advice and some direction. I was glad to give in PM only!

I am always one to admit if I'm in the wrong and willing to apologize if I was out of place. It would be nice if more members would be the same, instead of holding down an alter-ego.
I still like eroids, it is my first online community to have ever joined. I do feel as if it has gotten out of hand in many ways, which scares me for my own personal reasons. I have researched other steroid community's and none are as helpful our family oriented as eroids. Which makes eroids a very unique and much needed place for new people. If I had not joined eroids myself I would be in a whole different world of problems I never knew existed. I have learned so much from eroids and it's members that I now relay this very important information to friends and family. I owe a lot to eroids and it's community and I imagine there is many others that feel the same.
We also need to recognize there, is many others that need this community as bad as we do. I have had to take a break for awhile it just seemed like there was way to much drama and to many wolf packs. I just recently came back and it's still some what the same except I see less new people.
I really hope eroids stays around for awhile and it would be nice to find a happy medium with in our community. Its senseless to argue and bash over silly little things. We are grown men and woman I'm sure we can compromise one way or another.
The one thing that gets under my hide the most, is when a member starts posting confidential info on our sources walls. It seems as if these people think it's safe and have no common sense as to the legality of what we're doing here.
This is why I tend to bash and keep my distance. I made a post several months ago pertaining to taking a test before bcoming a member. The test was just on the rules to confirm that a new member fully read the rules and understands them. It was split down the middle as to who was for it and who wasn't. I read the rules very well and played by them as best as possible but there is a lot of new members that don't read them at all and just join then treat eroids like it's facebook.
I don't know how it works from the inside but I would definitely hate for eroids to be shut down for what ever reasons maybe. Eroids does stand out far more then any other site I have seen, which worries me.

Either way I will always be a proud member of this community and I hope that goes for a lot of the more experienced members as well and newbies that positively contribute .

eroids is better for having people such as yourself who can shed light on subjects such as this.

it's funny. reading this now i can relate on many levels.
i am no pro and no body builder and have very little experience with compounds. i joined awhile ago and got a few light bitch slaps in the right direction for my first cycles. i read and read and read and absorbed as much as i could. i became addicted to this site.

yet, as time went on, i saw posts in supplier intros turn into some kind of pseudo-gay porn forum and things get out of control. then the hammer came down and things quieted a little.

i also started using PMs more for my questions because it seemed that anything i asked was met with some smart assed remark of little educational value or a very blunt "read in the forums, we already discussed this a few months ago" remark. that's great that folks talked about something 5 months ago. whats the pain in refreshing the topic? are the pros here so jaded that they can't teach the same class twice?

i didn't know this was a book we were writing. i thought this was a discussion thread.

the point is i got a bad taste in my mouth by all of the negative attitudes and i stopped checking the site. now, i have come back and i see some old faces, and lots of new ones. but still the same attitudes towards posting. i don't know, i just don't think it's right to ask a question that pops into your head for conversations sake and get hammered for not spending 2 hours researching the site before speaking to the gods of eroids.

or i could just be full of malarkey....

great post man couldn't agree more! I'd also like to say that alot of that is true but, I myself am relitively new and have recieved nothing but, kind words and welcome from all people(fast, Logan, Popeboy etc.)It's encouraged me to act the same way to people, I think that eroids in general is a kind and respectful place as far as advice and aid/cycle posts are concerned. I have seen flaming too but, I've seen alot more good from eroids then bad (just thought I'd throw my expierence out there lol)

Maybe we need to see if we cant put a intro in for new members something they would need to read before they can activate their profiles, maybe some kind of questionare and what would help them get off on the rite foot, ya know what I mean. something that would require them to read and answer the questions right before they can join does that make sence?
