+ 11 EROIDS DEPRECIATING?
MY title is in question form because obviously I'm not the Administration of the site and I'm not the only voice here. I have been a member however over a year and have poured my heart and soul into this board and something concerns me.
I asked myself "Is Eroids depreciating as of late?"
The question is legit and I'm asking you to chime in after I lay out why it is IMO.
We are a tight knit community, we have all defended Eroids somewhere on the net and all get pissed when someone bashes it right? So I ask "well why is that, why are we so protective of it?"
Most of that I guess is because we are so tight knit and family like. We do get irritated with one another like family will. In fact, I got irritated with someone last night and voiced that irritation but truth is I like this guy and he is a great memeber and friend, its family and we can voice to one another is the way I see it.
So heres my point and I'll lay out my argument and you tell me.
I ask you you step out and look in rather than having a closed mind and just defend your current opinion if you have one. Be final because you are right as opposed to right because you are final.
I've noticed far less posts in the steroid cycles area and I think I know why and I happen to think it may be doing more harm than good.
At some point in the recent past the boards have taken on a "attack the newb" mentallity. Now before you go to defending your own guilt or my guilt for doing these things hear me out.
A VERY good friend of mine here recently posted what he thought might be helpful advice in our cycle section. Rather than being diplomatically corrected on information our board has deemed innacurate, he was scorched. He had point deductions and was essentially called an idiot and not just once because the way the board is designed is a somewhat ranked member scorches you and then all the wanna be's come in behind like pupppets and tell someone how stupid they are as well trying to suckle the karma nectar off said ranked members sack.
Now this guy is not only a long time member, he has had to think outside the box for himself given certain well used compounds effect him in a very negative way.
This has over many months caused him to offer suggestions here and there to others thinking maybe he's not the only one thats going to respond negatively to certain comounds.
Again, rather than just a single diplomatic response to his outside the box thought, the whole "newer" community hammered his ass into the dirt, deducted karma and then even had the thread shut down as though he were an outcast to society.
Is that what Eroids is to you? Is that what we are becoming?
So heres the deal, this guy is not only one of the nicest people you will ever meet, he is someone who will extend a hand to anyone who asks and that included me a long time back. He is also a member of our US military and these people are a cut above the rest of us IMO, they actually walk into an office and volunteer to lay their lives on the line to protect this country.
Did I mention he has 2 degree's? Point is, this guy is damn good people and was treated like shit by this community.
I see more and more newb bashing and now its every fing day. Hell we even have a place you can go now and field dress your very own newb before you cut him up and pack him in the freezer for winter meals.
Yes, I understand the same old newb questions get old but no matter how many rants we make and post all over the site, dumb questions will be asked. I just don't want a newb that might feel as though he needs to ask a question to feel he may be scorched and the fact he didn't ask that stupid quesion it cost him his life.
I can tell you this, Aerok lost his and he came into a friendly environment, he was coached by a lot of compassion here and still went the wrong way. Yes, he was flamed a bit but not scorched off the board.
If you are to look back myself and hollywood, roid, Goth etc have done a little flaming, sometimes inapropriately but a little none the less. The one thing we had that s being lost however, is the respect to some degree of other opinions.
I know the board "thinks" all the science is in, there is a single protocol for every single stack that could be run and either you fit into that or your "wrong". I myself recently have changed my views on some hgh protocols, admitted that publicly. The reason I did is that I've never close my mind. I understand these things evolve and if my mind is closed I can't evolve with them.
So let me make the point her, I preferred a more open Eroids over what it is becoming. I preferred a cycles section that allowed opinion and some advice that might not fit into the perfect little protocol adopted here. I also preferred a community that had a more oppen mind and would not death squash suggestions that maybe 5 people have decided were to be "the" opinion. Its killing descent simply because its not "my" belief and when we do that we can't grow..
That closed mind is my big concern but my other concern is how we are beginning to welcome outsiders. They come from other boards often where they were scorched or just come in green from no board and IMO our goal should be to welcome them, help them, guide them to safety and befriend them, make them feel like family and we have a mixed message.
I go into introductions often and welcome a member and a couple days later might see the same new member get his asshole set on fire and sent out the door running down the streets looking for a dbol dealer so he can get his cycle underway.
My suggesgion is this, if you get frustrated with the same old first post BS get out of cycles for a while.
Eroids did just fine without you or I and will do so again for a few days until you can lose your frustration.
You don't have to run out and post a rant about how you will string the next newb that asks for stulid advice up by his balls. Just leave for a while, you are not "the glue" believe it or not.. i'm just saying we are losing our open arms reputation IMO and its not a good thing, in fact its pathetic if you ask me.
I would ask even ranking memebrs to rething what I call nazi type attacks to anything that does not fall into locfk step with your own opinion.
I even ask higher ups in the system as it were to give the new memebers of our family a little slack. Sometimes we act as though its the same guy asking the same dumb questions and often its not, its a new guy that just got his anus set ablaze for the last 90 newbs who asked a stupid question. No this poor guy didn't come in and read for 2 days straight and maybe he should have but since he didn't I see no reason to st him on fire, I can simply direct him to do so.
Maybe think of ourself working in administration somewhere and not being behind your keyboard. Think of these people as human beings and if they were to walk into your building and ask a question, would 10 people stand upp and just drill their ass to the wall? Of course not. So I'm asking espcially you guys who work cycles a lot, welcome people into ths site and community with open arms, if you don't want to yield dumb questions PM me and I'll handle them. You don't actually have to say everything that pops into your head and again, if you get frustrated maybe its time to take a day off. Thats my next concern, believe it or not, there are many many people here to help, maybe the wolrld won't come to an end if you don't have something to say in "EVERY SINGLE POST ON THE BOARD".. If you feel that need fine but its a quick way to get burned outand if you get burned out you get frustrated and that comes through in yyour words.
So thats my opinion, whats yours? Is Eroids better off today and in the long run being a caring community welcoming all memebers be it high intelligence or ignorant or are we better off just scorching the F out of anyone who is not in lock step with every command we give?
I get it guys/gals, we need structure, but when structure gooes beyond the greater good of the whole we have something that is ugly IMO.
I'm a loyal friend sorta guy and I don't make fun of those unlike me, I welcome them to broaden my own thinking and mind and maybe they are better as a result and I am too.
I'M NOT BASHING ANYONE BTW, I KNOW ALL YOU DO IS FROM THE HEART. I JUST THINK ITS TIME TO STEP OUT AND LOOK BACK IN FOR SOME SELF REFLECTION AND ASK IF THIS IS WHO WE WANT TO BE. If it is what the community wants then so be it, I'ma democracy kinda guy too but maybe its time to rethink at l?east and make sure our direction is proper. I love you all so this is froma good place, not angry just a little frustrated.
"HOWEVER"....If you are someone asking the same damn question over and over just in different ways until you get the answer you want, I'll be the guy leading the charge when we torch you.

ya know t-man im glad your a part of this community, we need more people like you to make people remember who we are and how easily things can be stripped from us, im guilty I am sure of that I have done my share of bashing in the begining but there is a time to take a step back and remember whats right and wrong. This is a board that is open to anyone and being theres a gillion people in this this world having newby join and ask "dumb" questions isnt something thats gonna stop so people need to get use to it, it takes a while for someone to get settled in and learn the ropes and its our responsibility as long term members to let these guys know that there are does and donts here, I was one of those people at one time that got bashed a little in the begining so who am I to bash anyone. you are the man and a big part of this website my friend. Truth has never been spoken better. Much respect tread as always to you from me. This is the reason upon my re-entry I stay the fuck out of the anabolic steroid and steroid cycles thread. These were my favorite threads before. Now it's a bunch of thumbs up from the same crowd saying the same things hey it is what it is. But I'm not going to go in and have a difference of opinion (because I do) and get bashed to fucking shit for it. Especially by people who can't even post a pic of themselves. And I know you don't have a pic up, but you know I've been around the block long enough to have heard that you aint no little bitch. And I'm not saying anyone else is either. What I'm saying is (and ironically I was speaking to abnormal aka dr Abby elsewhere yesterday about this) I don't want cycle advice from someone on their first or second cycle, I don't want cycle advice from someone who has never posted a pic, and that's from a perspective of someone coming in on their first cycle. I wanna know how someone who looks the part or has respect from people like you tell me where they fucked up and what to do. Eroids was different when I first signed up. And as an ex high ranking member with a bad track record here for whatever reason (well, there are reasons, and I think noid and I have more or less patched things up, and the other time I did something stupid I manned up for my actions and actual became close to the people that I had hurt), eroids is different now. Is it better? Idk. But to stay out of confrontation I can't even post my experiences because one of my favorite compounds has apparently caught a similar to tren rap here lately. This shit probably doesn't make sense, and probably no one gives a flying shit what I have to say, but that's my opinion and it seems like this was a thread where we could post our personal opinions without getting chastised.
I understand what you are saying. But by not posting your experiences this community is left short and wanting. The reality is that we ALL have different experiences with different compounds and if we decide not to share them then the community loses. Learning comes through experience and discussion. Sometimes the discussion goes south. I ask you to reconsider sharing your experiences.
I don't know if you've noticed or not, but anytime I share my experiences it gets trumped by people. I'm no longer here to battle. I have enough drama on a day to day basis. Maybe one day I will just create a long in depth thread of my experiences with aas and people can take it for what it's worth, learn from it, what to do right, what not to do. But I don't enjoy nandrolone vs eq battles every time a thread is opened just because some people had bad experiences with nandro. In my mind it is and always will be a staple. Same as dbol, long ester test, all my favorite things. When the discussion goes south I don't want it to be "guess what, juice is involved in another discussion that went to shit, he's a cancer to the community, let's toss his ass again". I spent a long time away from here. People were actually asking if I was here, I saw it as I would check in without an account and see cached posts. But maybe I'm getting old or some shit, but my will to share experiences that go against the grain and cause arguments (what I want is a debate, not 3 people telling me Im wrong all the time) is just gone. I'm enjoying other aspects of the site, particularly the sports/bodybuilding section and peptide forum currently. I feel safe there.
I won't argue with any of that. It's several bad experiences. I am glad you are enjoying other aspects of the site again, maybe one day you'll be comfortable enough to share.
My pm box is always welcomed, especially for people looking for a slightly different perspective. Not that I have anything against what everyone is saying, but some of us are very conservative which is cool, and some like just a hint of spice in life. I wouldn't want to run the same cycles over and over personally. And in my opinion the reason guys who can successfully run a nice test only cycle on run 15 or so is because their first 5 or so probably consisted of every compound they could get their hands on. I've used my body as an experiment. I don't know how long I will live. I have a disease, but I could die any day. What I'm saying is if my mistakes that have led me to find multiple formulas that work, then my mistakes were worth it for me. Running two 19s is like unheard of here. Well guess what. Deca and tren was fucking awesome (not for a beginner obviously) but I don't get progesterone sides, and I know this about myself.

tread-mThis is in part the reason for the "advanced" private thread discussion. Some of us in private discuss things as you are and I don't even tell many advanced some of the things I do because it would confuse the hell out of the boards. Reason being about 90% of the members are considered less than advanced. I suspect 80% far less than advanced and likely 70% total newb 1*5 orr second cycle. If 20 of us here burn up the threads with cycles such as you are talking about what happens? There is no standard for the 70+%. It only makes sense to be conservative or I think we end up potentially with a bunch of Aeroks. So theres this fine l?ine where you ask "what will eroids be"? I sorta think to unique it has to be somewhat a training ground in which you can learn from the bottom up. I've seen some pretty high end complex designer stacks here offered to experienced guys but it within certain"protocols". The new thread woul be outside the box and still keep basic protocols in place for the majority who are new or newer

I completely agree with everything you say. We all need our playground too though where we don't have to send multiple pms otherwise it's just a pain in the ass, and denying some of the things we actually use I think is just crazy at the same time. Obviously what's right for someone who is not advanced or a bodybuilder isn't the same and they probably shouldn't see some of the stuff, but of they really want to they can go elsewhere and just see that we are keeping the real truth from them at the same time
truth in this case is relative. people need to learn how they react to compounds and that's a fact. people often think theyn can skip steps (because that's what people do) ... if they were interested in going elsewhere they would and I'd bet money they have been and have seen how badly newbs get treated (not saying there isn't some roasting happening here, but for the most part it is pretty controlled). So, you are correct saying they can see stuff elsewhere, but I wouldn't refer to it as the truth.
Anonagree completely with the above post although myself being a new member I do not know the pat of this forum but I can only assume it is the same as every other forum on the net in that as it starts out is a close knit group of friends that expands into a small family that then expands into a large gathering then an out of control community where everyone does attack the new kid on the block and it's everyone out for themselves.

good read and as a newer member sometimes I get a little leery to give my input because I have on occasion seen some members killing someone that has posted things that are legit questions, however I have seen some questions that with very little effort the answers can be found.. so with said if everyone will just take a deep breath before answering things I think we will be fine as a community. and remember nothing is personal unless you get called out for some reason. I have been told on occasion with respect that my thoughts were in fact wrong or that I should not do something that would get a mod on my ass so I deleted the post or the response.. I THINK EVERYONE DESERVES RESPECT UNLESS YOU OVERSTEP YOUR BOUNDS!!! +1

I haven't really noticed much member "bashing but I havent looked around much either. I think that people who are somewhat new and do have a few cycles under their belt might see a newb post something and get all excited because for once they know what's right and what's wrong and may bash that member thinking they are helping in a way...amd they are tooting their own horn showing that they know what's right and wrong.....just a thought.

Hey big guy I know exactly what you are saying mate. The main reason I have been quiet on this site for such a long time is that the majority of the people flamming those members asking the questions are people that haven't really been on the board for that long a time themselves. I was getting tired of the crap and was struggling and did what you said. I have taken a break from the majority of areas on the site. The site has definately changed in the last 6 months or so. Now I am not anywhere near the longest serving member on this board but in the year I have been a member I have seen the change and unfortunately it hasn't been for the better. I still really enjoy some areas but unfortunately others still are quite painful. I think that you will find that most of the people flamming others have very little knowledge themselves and feel they have to boost their credibility on the site by burning new members. Guy's and girls leave your ego at the door. This place at the end of the day is about helping others out and getting help. Come to the site as a trader and not a consumer. If you come as a trader then you can trade info or goods (SRC). But if you come as a consumer then lets be honest you are here just for yourself and no one else's benefit. I honestly feel that everyone has something to contribute no matter how limited your knowledge may be in AAS you may be able to contribute in other areas. Now some members might flame me for my comments well go for it if you feel that insecure in yourselves. The thing is the people that have had anything to do with me know enough about me and thats all that matters. I don't go around pro clamming I know everything. Guys and girls don't keep perpetuating the shit. If you cant contribute in a positive manner keep it to your self. tread I don't mean to take over your thread mate just had to get that of my chest mate.

I share with others mainly through PM's and that is about it. I try to keep a low profile due to not wanting to defend myself. Dont ya think the guy knows he can "do more research" hes posting a question because some people may ENJOY helping out and answering the question. Whole herds of A-types and family-esqe atmosphete will cause occasional disturbances. Like a fam ruinion at the dark n shady bar. Passion to help/assist/teach can raise the flames. I'm guilty of it fully. Got a few haters on here that wished me dead at least once, yet anytime they post i still try to help any way i can. End result..fr...pm...squashed the agro and life goes on. Yes, we need newbs and new experienced guys/girls here. Ive seen the other sites. When i came here it was for Walmart drivethry and split. So jaded on wannabe guru's advising tren/drol to first timers. Started reading forums and dudes on here preach AND Live their words. I didn't see crap advice or if i did a vet flamed the bonehead fast. This place used a real approach. So when someone with experience posts a very advanced cycle to a 2nd timer...its gonna get hot. Gotta be responsible to all readers...not just the OP. If the newer folks don't come here and learn they'll go back to the sites that "tell you what you wanna hear". Theres a ton of great vets here! Hopefully we can keep up as a team and teach/share/joke. Winter is coming...so like the spring chaos--here comes winter newb chaos. I'd like to keep on working in the same manner as the guys/grrls that inspired me to stay in the first place.

VERY Well said...i'd rather see someone get the advice they need rather than ask questions to go unanswered get bashed and then get the wrong or misleading information from what they believe to be right and get hurt while doing what they "think" is best. I also agree we all have started at the same level at some point in our lives. I have to say i love reading all the information out there and listening to what the more knowledgeable have to say.

The reason i am a member is because the members no matter how experienced welcomed me and my stupid question's. i was never berated and even easy questions or dumb statements and I have made plenty were handled in well....... I hate to say it.... but in a family manner. What you have pointed out here tread is the essence of what drew me to this site, and I guarandamntee you that there are more of us on here that care, than there are the super duper awesome people and their wannabe friends who boost themselves by putting other people down. This is why Brother Tread has about one bazillion Karma!

Yeah, eRoids is a changin, but that's not necessarily bad. We're at the bottom end of a cyclic wave, and will come back up as we get into different head spaces. I know I've been whacked a few times lately by life, and that happens. So I roll with the punches, and do what I can to stay on an even keel. However I've stayed in the General Forums as late, because there seem to be 20 different people giving advice in the Cycles forum, and that's the only other thread I can access from work.
I think there needs to be a change so that we have people (volunteers) who are the designated "first posters" on steroid questions. Yeah, it would be boring, but Copy Pasting "Age, weight, BF%, diet, excercise history" would keep guys like Zewi and you from getting burned out.
Son't worry, we'll make it out the other side OK.
