+ 2 Batman Shooting Colorado
So this morining im watching the news and I see this sicko James Holmes who shot up a colorado movie theater 12 dead and 50 injured. So where to start, I strongly believe since they didnt kill him on site save the trail, save tax payers money, spare the media and tortur this sicko to death and send his family to court. And the only reason why i say send his family to court is to send a message to the other sick people that have these idea's that if you fuck around were gonna fuck with you and make your family pay the price hit there wallet and make them pay for the med bills and maybe people will think twice. And if this sick fuck thinks he's gonna be famous for shooting people at the batman opening then he's wrong people will forget his name in 2 years, but we sure wont forget him if is made an example of by tortur US should incorporate this punishment agian to send a message your not gonna to jail but your gonna be in alot of pain thats for sure.
Another reason why im so pissed is now the second amendent is gonna be in question cause sick ass people like this guy..First off there should be armed security/police at ever large event in the us, the way the unemployment rate is in this country vets,ex cops, goverment people all that need jobs well this is a way to earn extra income..And with these extra people put them at the door and make a check point with metal detectors so this shit doesnt happen, imagine how many more jobs america would have with extra people needed at schools, movie theaters, aren's etc etc..I would rather have my tax payers money go to keeping me safe then sending some dick weed who had a bad day to court..Sorry guys just venting cause im tried and people not doing anything about these massacres and then there gonna question the second amendment, FUCK THAT!! I love my gun and have my concealed handgun permit and not to sound like a tuff guy but if i was in that theater after the smoke bombs went off my ass would be posted up waiting to take a shot.. Agian sorry eroids for the venting post, but lately people in this world arent doing the right thing and im so tried of inncent people paying the price and fucking it all up for everybody.

AnonPeople make decisions and choices all the time. A free society is a dangerous society plain and simple. I am not willing to trade my freedom for safety.
CleyonWell said. Trading freedom for security will get you neither.
AnonThis is not an argument that will go anywhere unless people are willing to hear both sides, but just to get an idea of where peoples heads are at, after President Obama was elected there was a huge outcry that "they" were going to come and take my guns. I went to buy some .223 rounds and 12 gauge shells and was told "were out". Because of the hype about taking the guns away, gun sales and ammos sales went through the roof.
The reality is gun laws have not tightened at all, they have in fact loosened, with the right to carry in national parks now.
Everyone with a gun is a big shot, untill they are getting shot at themselves. Those in law enforcement or the military can judge this, but as far as how average joe with a .45 in his belt is going to "protect me" you can save that bullshit for someone else.
Supernova283So basically your idea is to disarm us so that when someone does illegally obtain a gun they can go on a mass killing spree like in Colorado and the person knows full well that the only people who can stop him is the police. Who won't be there in at least 10 minutes.
You say you shoot guns. How many bullets can you put into a crowd in 10 minutes? Because I'd say I could easily put at least 500 rounds if I had enough mags and my trusty M4. Shit I could actually probably go through 1000 if I really wanted to and I had like a backpack full of mags.
block the doors and open fire. Like shooting fish in a barrel. And no one could even get close to me. It'd be like Inglorious Bastards only without the Nazis.
They say that guy was specially trained. Bullshit, he didn't even lube his Ar-15. They say it jammed. Anyone who's torture tested their AR knows that as long as you keep those things lubed up they DON'T jam.
Maybe I wouldn't go out of my way to endanger myself to protect you, but I damn well will protect my friends, family and self. That means I'll try and kill the guy which will inadvertently save your ass.
If the us wants tosee less crime and violence they need not do anything but fix the fucking economy.Ppl are fed up and snapping right and left everywhere... just gonna get worse too.
Supernova283Yeah, because economics is so simple. All you have to do is say the magic words and the economy is fixed.
The economy is fucked. It's fucked everywhere.
AnonIve got guns, Ive shot guns I enjoy guns, but I am in favor of stricter gun control. The fact is you with your concealed weapon in a crisis may not be effective. Without extensive training and even them most people freak out and "blow it". Sure it might work but it might not. Its just far to easy to get guns in the US, especially if Canadians and Mexicans come accross our border to get them. If you need a hand gun in three days or less, chances are something is very wrong that most people will miss handle.
I'll refrain from commenting due to the fact that my mother taught me that if I didn't have anything nice to say to not say it at all.
lol seriously?? wow..if u cant be mature enough to see that any of what he just said may be true or see any of the side of what his saying especially after what happened in this shooting. i've heard the shit that guns dont kill people, hate to say it, but thats bullshit, he didnt kill people with a bow n arrow, or a bomb, or a fire.. these mass murders are happening with GUNS.
awaiting the onslaught of people to tell me im wrong lol
If there is a string of murders by ball bat , aor a serial strangler on the loose think we should blame bats and ropes. get real bro.
AnonThe problem is there just isnt
yes there is.
bahaha yeah i forgot their was another massacre recently where a guy killed 12 people with a rope and bat.. my mistake, dude guns in the wrong hands are dangerous, do u not agree?
Supernova283There was one a while ago with like a katana or some shit like that.
Weapons of death can be made from anything. Humans been killing shit for thoudsands of years How do you think we became number 1? You not gonna stop that by limiting ONE weapon.
I've never made any claims to maturity, so lets just rule that out Kangaroo pants.
Your reasoning is stupid. You are stupid if you think that regulation is going to help the matter. If a douche bag has it in his mind to plan out and kill a bunch of people he is going to do it. Take for example Timothy McVeigh. Killed a shit load of people. Not a single gun. Used fertilizer and Diesel fuel along with some "Regulated by law" dynamite. If man sets his mind to doing something he is going to be able to do it. Take a look at roids. If you want roids you can have them in minutes. Back when the Brady bill was in effect if I wanted a high capacity magazine I could buy the millions that were available, if I wanted an assault style rifle like an AK, I could have one within the hour.
This douche bag in Colorado was a pretty smart guy, if he wanted to make a bomb, he could have made a bomb. This reasoning that regulation is going to help is absolutely assinine.
Now I realize that living in a communist country like Australia hasn't given you the freedom that we get to taste here in the Good ol USof A so I'm not going to fault you on that, If you want regulation, stay in Australia, if you want real freedom come to the US. Taste it and you will never go back to being regulated.
Oh, and while Im on the subject, I would like to make note that Timothy McVeigh was Irish.
i see how been able to get a gun legally with next to know checks might be fun, but i know a few angry pricks here in aus that if they had guns would not be such a good idea cos they'd pull them out on any person that gave them a wrong look, lol not everyone who has gone on a shooting massacre would of gone out and made a bomb if guns werent available, many are impulse guys who just snap and want to go on a instant rampage, like i said we havent had a massacre here since the laws changed in 96, so for me i think its well worth not having a deadly toy to play with.
See the thing is though gcg is now you guys are powerless if your gov ever gets outta line.
ummm we're too lazy to get out of line, we're fucking aussie's.
I would love to live there btw.
lol cheers dude, i love it, except for our customs,
I think its beautiful there and besides us and Australia are mates!
tell me about it, took this pic out my bedroom door today, http://i1270.photobucket.com/albums/jj617/gcgeargold/2012-07-2514452.jpg
any eroider's ever come over to the gold coast in aus welcome to crash at mine for free for a couple days
WoW! No wonder you guys are so happy!!!! Sorry took me so long....Was boarding plane to Australia!!!!! ;);)
Your pic also proves my point. Not all of us in the US, can look out our window to a beautiful beach. Most of us see sagebrush, trees, or desert. We have to be able to kill people if we need to. If we all lived on a beach and got to play with Kangaroos all day shit, who needs guns?
NicoTheFrenchAmerica..FUCK YEAH!!!!!
CleyonGun control laws, any law for that matter, only affect law abiding citizens. This idiot was out there to commit murder, and he was going to do it no matter what laws stood in the way. He booby trapped his apartment, do you think it would have been that much harder for him to make homemade grenades?
Facts are that when you outlaw guns, then only the outlaws have guns. Pretty freaking simple. If he hadn't been able to buy what he wanted at a gun store, he would have just taken a drive down Colfax (if you want you wick dipped, or your ass kicked, you'll find it on Colfax), within two hours he would have gotten what he needed. Yeah it may have cost him a little more, but it didn't look like he was in "saving for retirement" mode.
did he say banning them completely? no, he said stricter gun control laws.. how is it a bad thing i dont get it?? lol. ur trying to hit me with fact yet your country has never experienced a before or after with changing to strict gun laws?? where as i have, i live in aus, in 96 after a massacre we had strict gun laws come into play, in the 18 years before these gun laws their were 13 massacres the worst where 35 people were murdered in 1996, in the 16 years after the gun laws came in guess how many their have been?? NONE!!! not one!what a strange coincidence lol. yes, could have used grenades, he could of used anything, but the fact is he didnt, he used a gun because they are the simplest WEAPON to kill people with.
obviously, banning guns in the u.s will never work, their's more guns in the u.s than people, but if they made it harder to get a gun from the start, u cant help but think many many lives could of been saved.
CleyonI know he didn't say to ban them completely, I'm just following the logical path. How long did this guy take making exlosives and rigging his apartment to blow? Do you think he would have had the patience to wait 7 days to get his guns? Undoubtedly!
I heard it postulated that if ONLY they had the time to verify employment before selling a firearm, because losing your job might be a catalyst to this type of thing. I went out and bought a Marlin 30/30 after I lost my job once (the day after matter of fact), it wasn't so I could go on a rampage, it was so that I could go hunting and get some meat for my family.
I don't mind the instant background checks, I think that's a perfectly legitimate precaution. But the seven day waiting period, and all these other ideas strike me as nothing but a great way keep criminals happy.
AnonThats not exactly true. I agree regarding things like muggings and hold ups. There are however another group of crimes ,like a guy getting fired buying a gun and shooting up his office. A guy catching his gf fucking around on him. The virginia tech shooter aquired his gun legaly did he not ?
Bottom line is very few gun control advocates like myself want to see a ban on guns. I want the privelage to own a gun. I just think better background checks and something along the lines of anual or bianual mental evaluations would be reasonable.
CleyonGun ownership should not be a privilidge. Defending your life and liberty is NOT a privilidge, it's a right. Your last sentence is a great way for the government to start taking away people's right should they chose to do so.
I think you gun control advocates don't understand that we are not taking about reasonable people. Reasonable laws only work for reasonable people. If a dude is willing to shoot a little kid point blank, no reasonable law in the world is going to make him reasonable. With regulation, you only regulate law abiding citizens.
Anonagain what you are failing to see is I am not suggesting this would cure a career criminal. The gun masacres that have occured throughout history were not comitted by guys with long rap sheets, but they did often have medications or mental illness in their history.
can agree here. mental stabilit and age are big factors.... personally i think 18 is too young....
point im trying to make aswell. their is no harm at all having something simple like that come in, so what if it is an inconvenience and takes a couple days longer to get a gun in your hands, dont u think saving guns falling in the wrong hands LEGALLY worth it?
Its kind of like saying there is no harm in a simple law that completely makes steroids a felony. While law abiding kids are burning up their livers and growing titties off Pro HOrmones, criminals like ourselves are getting bigger.
x2 Hey... hows that steroid regulation working? rest my case.
hahaha speaking of which, how many more people would be on gear if u could go to the chemist and get it without script. steroids are completely different, having something that only causes harm to yourself is much different than something that can harm others.
In a fight, a big ass juiced up bastard can cause more damage to more people in a fight than can a 145 lb guy with the same level of fighting skills. So should juice be regulated to only those who have not been in a fight since the third grade?
Sorry your argument is silly.
lol i love debating especially when its with people that are so passionate for the one im against. but this is just another lap of a circle about to start so im calling it quits, lol no u didnt win.
Yeah. I won. lol. It's all good.

I like to argue as well. Hope you know that with my smartass comments I really don't mean anything personal.
lol i gathered that mate, likewise
i can cause harm to u with steroids. in nemerous ways. logic makes no sense here. thats my point though. anything can cause harm if user intends to. let me throw a brick of raw d-bol powder in a water supply. that will harm your ass.... Bot om line is gov is spending money AND losing tax revenue by over regulating everything. Steroids and pot for example. Both waistes and failures.
lol wtf dude, ur on drugs, that wouldnt do me harm, if anything i'd become addicted to water lol if ur happy to pour dbol powder in my drinking water let me pm u my address.
lol lmao..... ok ok u got me.... but u get the point.......I know one thing that would get your ass....!!!! these fucking rips!!! 2 more ius a day and id be fucked lol!
x2. some where in the middle is always the answer
lol damm forgot to add honkey in their somewhere..
naguib123yea he is shy, so that says he is quiet, so no one knew if he was normal. his mom knew he had problems. and we don't know if he was broke or not, his parents could of given him the money/ or credit cards. if he did get help, it would be from another organization other than the government, maybe the neighborhood sadist group. why would the gov want to cause damage in a theater, its too small.
CleyonThis really hit home for me. I grew up about three miles from the theater this happened at. My Grandparents lived in Aurora (just outside of fitzsimons army medical center)until they passed.
I was in AZ with my parents when I heard about it. The first thing my Mom said was, "Why weren't there any people like you two (my Dad and me) there to stop this." It was really surprising since she has always been kind of a hippie, and was never a fan of my Dad's guns. I guess at 65 she's finally realized that bad people will always find a way to hurt others, so it's best to let good people be able to defend themselves.
Supernova283Not that you could have done anything about it. The guy was wearing tactical armor. Unless you conceal an m4 you wouldn't have been able to pierce the guys armor. Even if you were packing +P+ rounds in a .45.
