Some long thought and looking into the future contemplating fall and winter EBC.
This will be unique...ITS A FREE FOR ALL !
This EBC will be do as you wish in a controlled environment of course. You as an individual will be able to tell us what you wish to do in goal with this cycle and then prove you could get it done. Bulk, recomp,cut, shred, total body transformation, you name it!
The new EBC page will come out soon and as you post up your page having read the rules you will describe what your EBC will be and define clearly the goal.
You will compete against yourself in that you will be judged only on your achievement as to your goal. You will compete against others in that you will have to achieve your goal from a points standpoint better than they achieved theirs. Those achievements and points as to achievment will bring us our winners!
Once page comes up you will have until midnight CST july 5th, 2013 to post required pics. The contest will close september 15th and closing pics will be due no later than sept 20th at midnight CST 2013.
All the other questions will be answered in the primary EBC thread as the summer thread pops up so get your gear ready.

angusPhil, this drama started in THE ARENA and poured over into this forum. The amount of shit talking was incredible. It was a freaking soap opera at one point. But you know, I was talking to one of the guys in PM and they were completely fired up more than any time in their lives.......that can't be all bad can it? We want to be motivated and whatever gets us there counts. These guys start shit talking and it turns into gains.....well that is what it's all about. Besides, Tread LOVES the shit talking and encourages it, isn't that right Tread?

Shit talking has always been part of the EBC. But until recently it has been less douche bag like, I mean more polite! Some of this has become down right offensively aggressive considering the male and female contestants, and the helpful contestant camaraderie which has been the EBC! Hopefully this will calm down!
angusTo say that all the brutal shit talking is a product of the current contestants is erroneous, I think that in general there is a sense comraderie and it only takes a few bad apples to spoil the bunch. One person gets a little out of control and we call the whole thing a problem? Naw, it's still as golden as it's always been, just more competitive. There's more at stake.....more prizes, more bragging rights. People get fired up, and for good reason. It ls fun to experience and fun to watch. I think it's up to tread to draw the line. It's his house and we have to respect that.
My opinion is the current Brutal shit talking is the product of one person who will not be a contestant in this EBC so it doesn't belong here.

angusI'm not offended, you make me laugh. I fully recommend you fire my boys up and trash talk them into action. They're lean mean fighting machines and they're gonna put some pounds on. Those aren't British pounds either, so don't get it confused. As for me, idk that I'll be in another EBC, my EBC was a springboard for bigger and better things. If an EBC fits into my cycle I'd participate but I won't be planning a cycle around it. But don't focus on me, you have lots and lots of great competitors you are facing right now. Can't wait for the EBC entry page to post. This weekend is a holiday weekend in the USA people are gonna be going on vacation and might not be able to get pics posted.
