PCT with TRT????
ad
I promised my endo that I would get down to 100mg of testE once a week before going back for blood work in November. Right now I am running 250mg testE twice a week and Tren Ace 100mg EOD. MY plan is to cut the Tren Ace in two weeks. And cut back the TestE to 125mg twice a week for the next 6 weeks, then cut the testE to 100mg once a week. Should I still run a PCT? I did after the last blast using Clomid and Nolvadex but Im not sure I needed to. Any thoughts? Turning 50 this week and trying to fight it every day. Right now I am 6'2" 225lbs and BF around 15, diet is excellent and train 5 days a week. Let it rip my friends!

Hey, thanks for this post, I am similar to you just 40 y/o though. .I had the same questions, so thanks, I learned a bit
Did your endo prescribe that tren ace too? And what was your free test and test level on your last blood work? Why would you, or your endo, decide to use clomid and nolva after a blast if you are on TRT?
StevebLOL
This whole post is confusing. Do you know what a PCT is for?
TRT and PCT are not compatible. You're replacing your missing natural testosterone with synthetic test. PCT is to re-boot your natural test. Running PCT meds when you're running test is utterly useless.
You're either on TRT or you're cycling, not both.
TRT is a life cycle.
They have those at my gym.
X2...
When I first started on this my free test was 96. I threw in the Tren Ace during because I wanted to, simple answer, no lies. I completely understand the difference between TRT and PCT. My concern was that by stopping the Tren Ace and reducing my Test E at the same time I may crash. I need the TRT and my endo agrees she just wants to see my numbers on a low dose so I am going to comply but I dont want to crash to hard and if a PCT will help make the process easier I want to do it. My first thought was that I dont need it but I wanted to check with some more experienced guys here in the TRT forum.
100-125mg per week in divided doses should keep u between 600-800, but everybody is different...
I could live with that. Although I am not sure all the numbers are the same for everyone. Does it make sense that my test level is 800 and I should feel the same as every other guy at 800? I have trust issues with the medical world. I know they are smarter than me but I dont agree that everyone fits in the same box.
PCT meds do NOT work when you've got aas in your system. You have to completely go off all aas, wait for them to clear your system (depending on the ester), then start your PCT.
So unless you're planning on stopping everything and waiting two plus weeks before you start your PCT, then no, you wouldn't use it.
You may feel a bit of a low getting off tren and lowing your test dose, but that's just part of it. You won't "crash" since you're still taking test. All I can say is this is what you have to deal with when you "blast and cruise". I rarely blast, due to this. I'd much rather keep my levels steady and just keep plugging along in the gym and making slow, steady progress. It's much healthier for you and I feel great all the time. Food for thought.
Thank you very much. I know keeping steady would be the best thing for me. Honestly I just love the way I feel and look now and I know its my ego that gets me blasting. Im 50 now and look better and feel better than I have ever in my life. Im sure at some point I will run steady all year but for now I am going to let my ego have some fun. Thank you again.
I'm close to your age and I get it. Just be well informed and keep a close eye on your blood pressure.
I've just found that I do better when I keep things pretty even. I may blast here and there, but I don't go very high, as far as dosages go. Best of luck.
