Best gear for strength and Size

ad

I have been on TRT for years now through my doctor. This past year I had shoulder surgery to repair the rotator cuff, labrum and re attach the bicep tendon. The bigger issue is I have been diagnosed with Chronic Lyme disease. I kept working out throughout shoulder recovery but the Lyme is causing weight loss and muscle atrophy. I am down about 20 lbs and I cant gain weight or put on any size. Im 60 years old now so not looking to become a monster but would like to get back to about 225. What have you guys used that worked will for adding weight and size? Currently running .75 ml of test cyp. Thank you in advance for any help.

Sup brotha! I’ve been through it with lime disease before so i know it goes. I had a really severe case and was able to get rid of like 99.999% of it - doctors can install a pick line and give you a 24/7 IV of doxycycline and a combination of immune suppressants for a year or so fallowing. I wouldn’t worry about your weight or any thing but getting that Lime Disease taken care of. Just do your best that you can with training and diet right now you while you handle your health issue first and keep some kind of trt dose of test in for muscle retention n stuffs. Butt stuffs. Major butt stuffs.

I am trying, its long term Lyme so its harder to get rid of. I have been on Doxycyceline for over a year and its a little better. It hasnt stopped me from training but just want a little weight back. After a lot of thought I may just increase the test cyp for a couple months to see if that helps

Thanks for chiming in buddy Good

Did you manage to sort out that temporary blindness it was causing too mate?

If I found myself in your situation I would start by enhancing my mytochondrial function to negate the effects of the Lyme disease and get my evergy production up. 20-40mg Methylene blue ed, 750-1,000mcg slu-pp-332 ed, Clen 40mcg to start(then titrate up). Now that I had the energy levels to eat and train hard I would stick with bioidentical hormones and ramp up the Test and HGH. I'd throw in some ghk-cu injections ed to add another layer to enhance recovery and I'd prep my food and hit the gym. Again that is what I would do myself if I was in your position and 60 yrs old. I feel like the mytochondrial enhancement stack would be key here.

Why suggest Clen when its a fat burner / appetite suppressor? I need to gain weight and I cant afford a drop in appetite. The other two sound good. Thank you

TrainElite's picture

Just for an energy boost, more like a pre-workout of sorts. From what I've heard about Lyme disease is it really wears you down makes it hard for alot of people to find the energy to do the things they normally do. Fatigue, lethargy, depression, headaches, etc. I know Clen never gives me headaches even at higher doses, so I prefer it as my stim over caffeine, ephedrine, preworkouts, etc. Personally I can eat for days on Clen. But I'm sure at higher doses it can have more appetite suppression effect. I just figured if you feel like crap some days ands it's hard to get yourself motivated to workout I know Clen gives a nice synergy to the MB & SLU combo. Makes me feel AMAZING, energy for days. Just a thought, if you don't need a stim by all means skip the Clen. Question, since it seems you're being robbed of the ability to gain weight/keep weight on have you just thought about increasing the calories. Add more fats like olive oil(easy extra 2000 cals ed) and make every day a high carb day to get the scale moving. Basically Dirty Bulk If Needed. If 3000 cals aint moving the scale, try 5000 cals, if that aint moving the scale keep adding 1000 cals ED until it starts moving. Find your new BMR/Maintenence calories. I'd again Stress the importance of higher dosed HGH. For example AIDS patients are always offered a script of S***stim(Pharma HGH) and they have them inject 18iu ED and the purpose is to pack on large amounts of muscle tissue due to the muscle wasting/loss effect that HIV has on their body. Which is exactly what high dosed HGH will do.

Thank you, I do appreciate the input. The fatigue is my greatest hurdle with Lyme and I could use the extra stim. Im still going to the gym evert day but after a hard workout I may come home and nap for 30 minutes to recover. The joint pain and other symptoms I can work through. Thank you again

Scopehammer90's picture

Never used Methylene Blue but have been seeing it discussed here and there. as far as effects do you actually notice much from it or think its sorta placebo?

TrainElite's picture

Oh there's no placebo affect...It's not a stim, but you CAN feel it 100%. MB is an amazing compound and so is SLU-PP-332. Start at 10mg ed upon waking, work your way up to 20mg, then up to 30mg, etc...Alot of guys sweet spot is 20mg, It's called "Smurfing"

Testosterone. And HGH

irongame427's picture

Sounds like you've never cycled before so the only steroid you should be considering is a higher dose of test than your on now. That’s all you need to make big gains on a first cycle.

How is Lyme causing weight loss and muscle atrophy for you? Appetite problems? After you take the antibiotics and knock out the active bacterial infection you should be good to go. Did it take a while before doctors figured out you had Lymes? Only reason I ask is I have it too. I’ve had 2 or 3 active Lyme infections, and I had Rocky Mountain spotted fever once. Every time I knew I got bit by a tick and within days was on antibiotics and knocked it out. I don’t think I ever noticed any ill effects from it, because I was treated so early before it could do damage. It’s definitely a lot different if you don’t know you got bit and it takes months or even longer for doctors to figure out you have lymes. Then the bacteria has had a lot of time to do damage. If Is appetite problems then there’s peptides that can help with that too.

big JO's picture

I went undiagnosed for years and I am now considered long term / chronic Lyme. Lyme creates joint pain because it works into the soft tissue and attacks damaged joints first, sore muscles and fatigue. All of these symptoms I dismissed, just thinking 40 years in a gym and my muscles are always sore, injuries explained the joint pain and fatigue I chalked up to age. Atrophy and weight loss was just an added surprise. I still train 5 days a week and am active 7 days a week. I have been on antibiotics and natural supplements for almost a year and a half with more to come. Research shows if you act fast 2 months of antibiotics works but once it settles into your body it is very hard to get rid of. I never had any bullseyes but still here we are. Good luck and if I can help in any way please reach out.

irongame427's picture

Damn man, that sucks. I never had the bullseye any of the 3 or 4 times I got it. It’s a complete myth that if you don’t get bullseye you won’t get lymes. Early detection is key. But it’s so easy to not realize you got bit and take years to figure out you have it. That’s what always worried me, and still does. We have tons of ticks around me and they change throughout the season. They start big in the spring and they’re easy to see on you but later in the summer and fall these tiny ones come out that you can’t even really see without a magnifying glass. Those really worry me. So easy for one to latch somewhere you can’t see well and never know it’s there. I’m lucky I knew every time I got bit and was on antibiotics within days. I never felt bad from it and years later have no long term effects as far as i can tell.

Now that you’ve been diagnosed and hopefully put on antibiotics to knock it out hopefully you can continue to heal. A test cycle will help you regain that lost muscle. Some peptides may help you. BPC-157 is good for healing. Maybe a low dose HGH as well. It’s also good for healing, anti aging, fat loss, a little bit of muscle gain etc.

Very Sorry to hear about your lyme disease diagnosis mate, I know another member on here who has this or maybe got rid of it - see if he see's your post first to offer any sort of advice as he has an excellent physique. In my opinion the best steroids for gaining mass even if it is only temporary (like steroids are in general I guess) are the wet ones rather than ones that dry you out. So you are looking at things like Basic Testosterone, Deca/NPP, Dianabol (if you can find a good inject version these are great for size), Anadrol. I wouldn''t use anything too toxic like trenbolone though because of the lyme disease which will already be weakening your immune system I would have thought. You have other compounds that will add more lean mass to you but aren't necessarily mass monsters - Anavar, DHB, E.Q. Keep in mind that being able to eat and consume a lot of food is your best bet to adding size long term, so that means using compounds that stimulate your hunger and keep a healthy appetite and liver - rather than decreasing it. Maybe look into other appetite stimulants too like MK 677 and GHRP6 too.

big JO's picture

I was thinking EQ as that is supposed to help with appetite too. Thank you

Gman2469's picture

The cycle I’m starting in August is going to incorporate EQ. It will be the first time I have used it. I have been researching the shit out of it lately to make sure I don’t screw it up…lol

Your diet is number 1. Whats your macros

big JO's picture

2500 to 3000 calories per day with 180-200 grams of protein and 200 to 240 grams of carbs

Imagedynamiks's picture

I’d see if you can do something about that lymes disease first. That’s your biggest hurdle.

I have been working on that for over a year now. I have been on antibiotics for 14 months now. I have used Tren A in the past but its a harsh drug for me but I know the results are there. Eating 3,000 calories a day and I can barely stay at my current weight.

Knowyourrole88's picture

Keep that immune system high brotha good luck

Imagedynamiks's picture

That’s rough, I can’t imagine. Hopefully you can get it situated so you can maintain mass!!
