Will I keep my gains?
ad
So, I've been on TRT for about three years, 180mg a week. I am about to finish my first cycle of test cyp 500 for 14 weeks and 5 weeks anavar 100mg ed. Since there really a pct poetical, in will resume my previous TRT program in about a week.
I have made some really nice gains and feel really good about this cycle. Since I'm returning to cruising, can I expect to keep most of my gains? Or will they diminish?
Thanks for the input

AnonYou can keep your gains... As soon as your done your cycle go straight into your TRT dose. People usually lose gains because they aren't on TRT and they stop cycle and start pct meanwhile their natural test production is low. You have an advantage in that you will always have optimal test levels. You don't have to skip taking any test. Immediately following your cycle dose take your TRT dose and continue with that.
Also, I would add HCG to your TRT. It tells your testies to produce testosterone as well and helps with libido, sense of well being, and even some get some mild fat loss. A dose of 500mcg twice a week of HCG is all you need. Many people on TRT use it as part of their replacement regiment prescribed by their doctor.
Thanks tuffguy, I do do hcg, and I do think rise helpfull. I go back on TRT next week, I'll keep you posted
AnonGood yeah and keep that gap seamless. So don't go anytime taking nothing u can go right into TRT the week following ur last cycle pin.
I always planned on 2 steps forward with each cycle and one step back off cycle
But if you keep going that 1 step difference adds up to a significant leap
I think most of our bodies (guys with many cycles under their belt)
Are somewhat permanently enhanced -
Of course if you turn into a complete couch potato that just about kills u
From experience, keeping gains will be dependent on three things. Your work ethic, diet and test levels. That is to say, you will not be able to work out with the same intensity as you did on cycle.
You will also lose strength. If your trt dose is enough to keep your levels at atleast 80% of the "normal" range, you should be able to keep most of your gains and strength. If diet is on point.
Hey bro you say 80% of normal range/
The range for us is
250-1100
So are you saying your lvls should stay around 7-800 ?
when you go back to trt dose, don't start slacking and you should be ok. Remember how hard you worked to get it and how twice as hard it will be if you don't.
you should be able to keep most of your gains since your test won't fall too low, but obviously you might lose a little it happens. It really depends on how much you can keep up from working out and staying on top of your diet
Thanks guys, I appreciate your input. I really love this site, it has honestly been a positive influence on my life.
RustyhookerSince your stats are posted on your page. Keeping gains is reliant on your mastery in the kitchen. The first chunk of weight loss is typically just water so don't freakout. If you're working to make these choices into a lifestyle then keeping gains is all kitchen. Eating and gaining/perfecting your ideal body off blast certainly helps in future runs.
Kitchen killer. That's the deep dark secret of all gains.
Eat for your new BMR. If you go back to eating the same amount you did before your cycle, your body will go back to that weight. You have new lean body mass, so you have to feed it more now to keep that.
RustyhookerYou posted a big reply on bmr the other day. That should be a forum. Good info there!
I am working on putting something together with a little more detail about that. Hopefully I can get it posted up soon
