+ 1 Post Injection Pain From First Pin

ad

Hi All,

After several months of research and apprehension, I just started my first cycle a couple of days ago. It's a simple 12 week Test Cyp/Novaldex cycle, although I do have some other ancillaries on-hand just in case.

My first pin was in my right glute two days ago in the afternoon. By the time I went to bed, I had a dull pain at the injection site. When I woke up the next day, the pain was a bit worse. It feels like a deep muscle bruise. Although I haven't done a workout targeting the glutes since, I seem to have no trouble using the muscle, it just feels like a deep muscle bruise that smarts when I roll my weight onto the outside of my right asscheek. There is no discoloration, swelling, or heat. The area is tendewr to the touch, though.

I have plenty of experience with peptides, and I followed injection protocol to a T. All of my pins to date have been subq in the abdominal area, though, this is my first IM in an area as awkward as the glute. I have a natural aversion to needles, and I'll admit that I was shaking pretty good through the whole procedure.

My question is this: Could the pain I'm having be due to wallowing the needle around in the muscle with my shaking hand? Or could I have bunk Test C? Anyone else have experience with the type of pain I'm describing?

A good portion of it, yes. Also try heating your oils up under warm water, this can help relieve pip as well.

I hadn't heard of heating the oil up first, but it makes sense that it would be easier to pin that way. I'm afraid it probably would have cooled down by the time I had the nerve to use the needle, though! Haha!

Yep.
And what is a test cyp/Nolvadex cycle?

Hardliner1976's picture

250mg Test Cyp twice a week for 12 weeks, followed by a decreasing Novaldex post cycle dosage for 4 weeks. Two weeks in between the last Test Cyp dosage, and first Novaldex dosage.

I'm sure I would have a more steady hand if pinning my quad, but I hear it can be painful. Any experience with quads, and subsequent advice?

That is not going to cut it for PCT. Better research PCT before it is to late.

I have Clomid, and HCG on hand, if needed. Any other recommendations?

And how will you know "if needed"?

Make sure you use them. They aren't something you keep on hand for PCT.
