Safely opening 1ml glass amps

OK, not sure if this is the right place for this post or not, but I didn't know which forum to stick it in, anyways....
Anyone have any tips for breaking open the 1ML glass amps without crushing the shit out of the top?

$7 amp opener from GPZ works great!
A little scotch tape around the top before you snap it of works well to keep glass together
Ordered an amp opener after trying the first one, I tried scoring it and used a towel with a bic pen cap, broke unevenly but able to salvage it.
By an 'amp opener'. They're only a few bucks and will save you a lot of hassle in the long run. Especially if you're one those of people that "once you go amps you never go back".
Fuck I just realized this is old as shit.
Didn't want to open a new topic...just a question about amps since I'm waiting on mine to be shipped.
Some vials already have a score and some don't?
Anyone know it the bayer/schering amps are scored?
