Whats up guys, I am making this post just to show the simplicity of obtaining accessories and medical services in Canada. I am not too sure why I hear of so many guys having trouble with this but perhaps its just lack of knowledge.

Pins and Barrels :
FREE! yeah, thats correct. Pretty well every major city in Canada has a Needle exchange program. A simple google search will navigate you to the government website with all the locations. Ill be honest, standing in line with a bunch of sketched out IV drug users isn't the most fun, but if you are looking to save a couple bucks this is the way to go. They will ask you what you need, you tell them, they give it to you, simple as that, sharps boxes, alcohol swabs, anything you need.

The next option is pharmacy. Ive gotten to know the manager of a franchise of the largest pharmacy in Canada and he has shared some interesting info with me. Pharmacies cannot refuse to sell you pins/barrels! Now the problem with this is a lot of them do not keep a good stock, and will just tell you they do not do orders so that is how some of them get around it. Usually if you are polite and ask to speak to the supervisor/manager they will order anything you want, including bac water. Also, its none of their business what you are using them for, if they ask, feel free to tell them if you want, but I dont. And lastly, they cannot charge you tax on these products, us Canadians are taxed to death so any time we can avoid it, do it!

And obviously the next option is online, hassle free, prices are a little steeper and you have to pay shipping, but thats what convenience is all about.

Bloodwork:
It confuses me why I come across so many threads on so many forums by Canadian members who can't find a place to get labs done. I just dont get it! This is Canada, free healthcare (well not really, but lets not go there). Its as simple as this.

1. Go see your doctor, if you do not have a family doctor, go to a walk-in clinic.

2. When the Doctor asks "what can I do for you?" you say something along the lines of "I have symptoms x, y, z and I want bloods ran to check my 1, 2, 3...... Or what I usually tell them, the truth, I am on steroids..... they are doctors, they are not there to judge you, they are there to help you.

3. Last step, the doctor will get you a slip, you go to the nearest location, have your blood taken and you have your results within a couple days, some locations will email the results to you as well as your doc now.

Again, like the pins/barrels, that is all free.

Medical attention:
Lets face it, health issues and concerns can happen while cycling. We have all heard the horror stories of abcesses, sky high BP, liver issues....... A lot of the time people just let things go too far before seeking help. If you seriously think you have an issue, go to the local ER. Again, its free, noone will judge you and you will get the answers you need.
My first cycle ever, I ended up with a vial of crashed gear, did a quad shot, within 8 hours I couldnt move my leg without agony, it started swelling, was hot...... I went to the ER, told the male nurse what was up, guess what, dude ended up giving me advice on injection procedure, how to reduce pip, gave me a script for some antibiotics, pain killers, RAN BLOODWORK! and I was on my way, still had a sore leg, but had peace of mind! Again all that was free (without insurance the scripts would have cost $27, big deal)

It really is that simple. Hope this helps a few fellow canucks.
