+ 2 3 Blood Clots on TRT(125 mg week)

ad

Hello,

Just wanted to tell my story not looking to get reprimanded. I already have an army of doctors who are helping me out!

Three weeks ago I woke up after a heavy leg work w/ abdominal pain. The pain Subsided and got better every day over three days. I thought it was from doing deep squats without a belt so I kind of shrugged it off. Fast forward another week and the pain came back and it was specially aggravated after I ate w/ bloating as well. I decided to go into a walk-in clinic they did x-rays and they said I was constipated gave me a protocol to shit my brains out & sent me on my way. That was on a Thursday didn’t feel better and started going downhill all weekend. Woke up Sunday night in extreme pain and told my girlfriend to take me to emergency room that I knew something serious was wrong & could not power thru it. That was Monday morning around 6 AM. Luckily there was nobody in the emergency room and I have a good insurance and they took me right in. They ran a bevy of tests and after a few hours they came back and said they found something and we’re kind of shocked because it’s very rare. On the CT scan….. They found three blood clots, one near my stomach, one near my spleen, and one near my liver soo the blood circulation was not correct for me to digest my food & caused extreme inflammation that would radiate pain through my whole mid section. They instantly put me on the blood thinner IV drip Heparin & we’re giving me 2400 iu an hour to thin my blood to bust up the clots for a few days. Starting Eliquis(blood thinner pills) tomorrow and I have to run it for six months.

Was a perfect storm..,

I’ve been really busy lately and I wasn’t taking my blood pressure medication every day like I was supposed to

Kind of wasn’t drinking enough water like I usually do, because I was so busy at work and had a lot of pressure.

Haven’t donated blood since the end of December.

And had an elevated RBC from the TRT.(high end of range)

Highly Unlikely, but a strenuous deep squat work out without a belt may have caused it. Doctor says he’s had baseball pitchers get blood clots in their arms after strenuous games & practices

The above combination caused me to get three blood clots, but I’m having it handled and I gotta quit the TRT for at least six months while I take these blood thinners to continually bust up these clots.

The doctor said the blood cots are bad but at least they’re in a location that’s better than getting them in your heart or in your neck and causing a stroke.

Lesson learned

Never got the shot! Still on blood thinners(Eliquis) 5mg twice a day & even though I have been off TRT since April my RBC is still Normal/high range. Going to an Endo to figure a way so can run TRT. Never got the shot but they(Blood specialist) said that I have gene mutation from one of my parents that makes me more susceptible to blood clots. You will never know if you have the gene mutation unless you have a blood specialist that runs a specific test. Never had a problem running cycles ( on and then off long periods) and I have been doing that for many many years, but when I stayed on the constant TRT my body just couldn’t handle it.

Thanks for sharing! Gladly no complications and you are okay now. My goal is also longitivity and I keep monitoring everything. This post keeps me motivated doing it consistently.
