Replacement Options
So, my results are back and all I know is that my total testosterone level was 249 and my free test was very low. I will be going on Monday to discuss replacement therapy options. As some of you know, he is pushing the gels like Testim and said he only gives shots once a month. Now, I don't know if that is just a starting point and we work from there but I hope so.
Is there anything I should know or bring to his attention on Monday that may help me? I do not want to insult the guy because I know sometimes we just need to play the game to come out ahead. But, if he doesn't seem like he is willing to get my test levels in the higher than normal range then I am out.
I will bring up that Test E or C has a half-life of 7 days and clears the system in about 14 days, so once a month is out of the question (unless he is willing to increase the duration, say after 30 days). He is also worried that more frequent injections can lead to gynomastia, however, if he prescribes me, say .5g of Arimadex that should take care of it. Any ideas or thoughts?

I didnt want gels cause I wanted injections, and I wanted to do them myself--exactly so I could run higher than average.
Its your body, and your MD is supposed to PARTNER with you, not dictate. Otherwise, IMHO, change MDs.
