I'm 32 years old and maybe I'll need TRT/HRT for life?
OK, so I found out that steroids are at least very habit forming if not addicting in a sense :).
I ran 8 and 12 week cycles at first. About 4-5 of them. PCT'ed after each one, always got my natural test to come back and everything was fine.
Then I read this article on how 20 week cycles are more effective. 8 weeks on, 2 weeks off, then another 8 weeks on, 2 weeks off. But the 2 weeks is more like a bridge; you use a low amount of testosterone like 250mg/wk or PCT (nolvadex/clomid).
Basically the concept is that your receptors get overloaded after about 8 weeks, making steroids much less effective and larger doses required to get any effect. The 2 week break clears your receptors, and then when you hop back on for 8 weeks, it will be more effective.
Well I did this for 20 weeks. That's 5 months total. I guess it was too long, because when I tried to PCT after a 20 weeker, my sex drive did not come back, my strength did not come back and my nuts did not return to normal size after about a month of PCT'ing with 40/40/20/20mg Nolvadex/Clomid therapy.
Now I've been on for about a year. High doses sometimes, over a gram per week of test, sust, etc...
If I quit I lose my sex drive. I have a girlfriend and I'd like to get married and have kids, but I don't know if I can ever come off now.
Any ideas on a PCT regimen that can work? I also haven't taken HCG for a while, so my nuts shrunk to a large extent. I have some HCG coming and I'll probably dose it at 500i.u. every day or every other day until I get my testes back in action. Supposedly if I can get my nuts near normal size it will make a PCT more effective.
Any drugs that would be helpful for me in trying to quit taking steroids? Nolvadex, Clomid, Proviron, HCG?
Any way to stimulate my sex drive naturally after I discontinue steroids so I won't want to kill myself when my dick is limp every day?
Any idea how long it could take if it's even possible to get my test to recover as far as humanly possible?

would you ever suggest running the nolva/clomid combo along with aromasin to help lower estrogen during the pct or is nolva/clomid combo enough?
if you have been on for a year without hcg recovery will be tough, not that it would be easy with the hcg, or that there would be no risk of not recovering. i have ran 20 odd week cycles before but i always try to keep my balls nicely pumped up with hcg the minute i notice them begin to atrophy. a year of your balls laying dormant is a very long time though... iv heard of many people conceiving on trt with the help of fertility drugs, so its still a possibility for you. give the hcg a try it might not be too late, and do a long pct, twice the normal length at least. if your worried about libido you could use yohombine and MTII when you come off it might help, they help me a bit in pct anyway... keep cialis on hand. and good luck bro, hope it works out for ya. blast and cruise doesnt seem too bad though, i plan on going down that road in the future.
AnonThe bro im 31 and. On TRt. I when to a anti-aging clinic and and role the.doctor about. My past. Steroid use and. The fact that i hardly taken 300 my of test e 3 days. Prior and die not want to worry about buying test. Off the streets. Anymore. They free blood and my levels of total. T where 1200 and my. Free. Test. Was 58. So anyhow the honest way is best. Because. Now. I get. 200 mg. Of test cyp every week plus 1000 iu. Of hcg to keep. My testes. Producing on there. Own i hope this. Helps. There's nothing like walking out with a legal script for test its. Like finding. A peice of gold. Imo
Basically what you did was blast/Cruise. Welcome to our world----you're lifer now.
But that's not all bad. Take longer that 2 weeks off--it's not going to hurt you.
Here's what I do:
6-8 weeks crise on 125/wk Test E
8-10 weeks blast on 1000/wk Test E, 600 Deca/wk Deca, 100 mg/Anavar ED, 100mg Test prop ED.
The Var and Test prop are discontinued after the first 4 weeks.
My name is Goth...and I'm a blast cruiser.
OE2000Sounds like someone needs and intervention.....
Anonsee a doctor.. you've been running steroids for over a year now at varying levels using what? just test? This may be a function of higher than normal estrogen levels and low to no natty test at this point, but nothing that pct is going to fix without the blood work to say exactly what is going on.
tread-mOk a couple things to think about. You tested at 4 weeks which was following pct if I read right. It actually takes about 8 weeks to fully recover and thats WITH pct for 4 weeks. So you may simply have tested early next thing is that you really ran a 20 weeker given IMO the 2 off was meaningless. If you were on a short ester then you did at least have a little down time but it all seems out of thought to me. I would be interested in knowing how you would do closing with hcg and running an AI or aromasin in the final couple weeks and a week or 2 following to drop the spike in estrogen and run a strong pct and then retest in 10 weeks. The way you feel may be simply relaltive and you are not allowing sufficient time for that relative feeling to erode. Wondering if you had any tests done after being post cycle for 10 weeks or more and if they checked your estradial value? Estrogen alone can be a cause for all of your feelings and can also keep test levels down to some degree....just food for thought. The estrogen level might be the one thing I would be most interested in before speculating further.
I agree 100%. Its seems you are expecting to recover normal function (after being effectively on for about a year) exceedingly quickly. I think you have to give the matter more time than just 4 weeks. I'd be very surprised (shocked) if you'd done permenant damage that the body can't recover from (with the right PCT) - given time.
I had the same problem when I came off a cycle. I ran tren to long and suffered the same side effects. Instead of trying to get some advice from friends I said the hell with it and went to the doctor. It wasn't fun telling the doctor everything I've done but it was necessary for him to have all the facts. ( The doctors can not say anything about what you tell him). We did some blood work and found out my test levels were extremely low especially for someone who is 28. He prescribed me some medicine ( that wasn't cheap by the way) but it worked and my levels are back to normal. He can also help you with some prescriptions for erictile distinction. The last thing I wanted to do was go to the doctor but it was that or keep suffering. I'm sure other methods may work but this is what worked for me.
