HMO and "Normal"

ad

I am 44 and about to do my first ever Cycle. My Test level is 486, which they say is fine for someone my age. I am not so sure. What do you guys think?

This study says it all. "Normal" level's are only averages of "CURRENT" Levels in men at the same age. It doesn't mean it's a physiological sweet spot.

20 Years ago. Avg Test levels in men were much much higher.

"In one of the largest study of its kind, Travison et al. report a population-wide decline in Massachusetts's men’s testosterone levels during the last 20 years that is not related to normal aging or to health and lifestyle factors known to influence testosterone levels.

"They found that testosterone concentrations dropped about 1.2% per year, or about 17% overall, from 1987 to 2004. The downward trend was seen in both the population and in individuals over time. "

"Normal" today is what they used to call Hypogonadism 30 years ago.

I'm 50 and my level is at 485 and Dr. says I'm normal(I beg to differ). I took my first test e shot 4 days ago and my second yesterday and I hate needles but I hate how I feel more. I am really hoping for the turn around everyone I've talked to says happens. do some research and look around the site and if you'd like I'll let you know how I feel in a couple of days. I'm sure it will be worth the effort. F r sent

I had the luxury of picking up some test e in Thailand when I was in the middle of fighting with my HMO - wont mention names, but rhymes with Kaiser - about "normal" and "free test" versus "total test."

I just tried it for myself to see if it would make me feel better. It did, in spades. Nine days after my first shot, it was like my main burner lit after only running on the pilot light for years.

F*** what the MD says. Try it and see. Then if it does make you feel better, stop the injections and go back for a retest three weeks later -without telling your MD what you did. Your test will tank and your results will be super low, then they will have to start TRT.

If it does not make you feel better (not likely) then you will have to either ride out the crash of your natural test production for a few weeks until your nuts are back in action, or do some PCT

For someone my age. That's the bullshit line of all dr. If that's the case lets all lay down and die when we are 60. Doctors know so little about trt and have seen all the negative hype about steroids they are scared of it. If you feel like shit don't want to bang the old lady anymore then the time is now for a little help!

I think it depends on how you feel.If you have all the signs of low testosterone,486 might be low.If your 486 at 44,what were you at when you were in your early 20's?If your levels in your 20's were over 800,that would mean your levels are almost half now.
