Good son or bad influence?
I had a post on here about 6mos ago about my dads interest in my muscle gain. I am 35, he is 62... We go to the same gym same time 5 days a week. I think it has brought us closer together. Recently ha wanted to add a patio to his house and me being the nooka I am, I was there to help. Keep in mind I am the guy who wears long sleeves and pants at the gym except on leg day. So I was like 100degrees out and I went shirtless last week doin this patio...
I have 8 abs that show when I jus stand there. I was workin my ass off wheel barrowing concrete. Veins were poppin, striations in my shoulders, chest, and he noticed my calves were fairly prominent. Dad says to me a couple days later "Son I guess I'll try pinning" (b4 he said no needles and I explained to him that juice wasn't for him then)
Today I gave him his 2nd inj. of test e, and after I finished I felt a lil bad. He was all smiles and this is exactly what he wants to do. I didnt talk him into shit I swear. Yet for whatever reason I felt like maybe I am a pusher. I wont take his $ for anything (he's my dad I love him) but for whatever reason I wondered if I am doing a bad thing. Tell me if I am a bad son or good one. I want all responses pos and neg but he's already goin so may as well finish his 12 week endeavor now. I am honestly very curious on seeing the results of his 1st cycle.
Tell me how shitty I am bros.

Hey man tell him to watch his cholesterol and BLOOD PRESSURE!!! The BP was a little prob for me but I medicate now. I would rather have a few good years now loosing a few years of old man diapers and alzheimers. Live while you can but at his age monitor you should have the privatemdlabs.com site for tests
Good for you man! Your a bad influence only cuz you he outta man up and pin himself. I'm 54 soon 55 and my friends all pay thousands of dollars for the same crap I pay hundreds for! Look our natural test levels start declining somewhere around 30 some faster than others, if you keep the levels comfortable for his body GO FOR IT, your dad just wants to looks as good as he feels. Youre awesome.
Good son!
WoW! You're horrible you dirty dope dealing scum bag!.....
Just messing with you bro. My dad did the same to me, I mentioned I was taking test and deca for my injuries after he noticed a bigcchange in me one day. The first thing he asked was if I could get him some. I was a ittle surprised, I picked him up some and showed him how it's done. He is 55 and he acts and looks 10-20 years younger. He loves it he is more motivated he's always doing something now fucks the hell out of my step mom (thank God the ole bag needs it). I don't charge him I just give it to him. He swears by it, I could go on and on about how much aas has changed him but I won't.
I think what you are doing is awesome if it helps your dad feel good. I always have to remind him about pct and making sure he stays healthy while running and he does. It's almost like our roles have been reversed. It's time we as sons or daughters to start and help our parents feel better. God knows the dam doctor's don't help much. I had my dad stop taking deca because his cholesterol levels were getting high not dangerous or anything but when he mentioned it after his 2nd cycle it was time to go test only and cruise. He wants to try EQ instead, but the deca really helped with his joints. If I see his cholesterol levels are back to normal I will give him some deca. But yea dude if your dad wants to try it for his own health and well being then why not? Just don't allow him to over do it. That's cool I'm not the only one on this board that helps out his father.
I WAS feeling all alone for a min.
Your ol man sounds pretty cool!
It would be cool if he and I worked out together, like you and your dad. My dad lives to far away for that one day though! I just started him on test prop and test e the prop to kick start. He had a bunch of stuff to do and he was feeling pretty low and he couldn't wait for the E to kick in. Should have seen the look on his face when I said you have to pin prop eod. It was pretty funny, he finished what he had to do and he said the prop was like magic. Now he's finished the prop and just cruising I need to order him another thing of aromosin though. Before he started the test again he went and had bloods done in hopes to get a prescription but he was over 700 on his test levels and his estro was high. So I gave him some adex I had but I'm not sure it was good because mine was no good.
It is cool waitin for him to walk in gym, or as soon as I get to the gym there he's waivin at me. We dont workout the same at all... I am changing his whole workout for him though. He's been doin the same thing same way for over a year. I got him under the bar doin squats today... It was funny, but it isnt, he had no idea on form. He had both toes pointed out outward, his back was kinda arched... I was on eliptical and saw this, I yell across the gym "rack it pops I'm comin" I feel kind of stupid now being like that, but fuck, I showed him proper form once, he just needs help. I know one thing he is Not gettin hurt on my watch... I went over, got him all straightened out. He looks at me at (and you can tell he really meant it) "thanks son".... I felt like I must be doing something right the rest of the day
That's awesome bro! We can't let our dad's get hurt and who cares what anyone else thinks as long as you know your cool he's cool.
I dont think so. I went on TRT in Jan (I'm 56), and felt 20 years younger. Debilitating decline in old age is not inevitable. All you did was helped him feel better.
Regarding side effects like high cholesterol, I gotta say that if I knew for sure that steroid use would cut a few years off my life, I'd still choose to take them. I'd rather have a shorter quality life than a long life feeling like I did prior to TRT.
That is a decision every person must make for themselves, but it sounds like your dad made his choice fully informed.
I actually had the mirror immage issue regarding my son. He jabs my glutes for me 'cause I have a hard time holding the pin steady as I push in the plunger at that angle. As far as he knows it is all MD prescribed TRT, but I still wonder if I'm somehow corrupting him.
The family that pins together stays together.;)
AnonExplain to him the side effects. Put him on a TRT dose and make sure he checks his blood and donates regularly. With his age make sure he watches his lipids closely.
I don't think a cycle is what he needs at his age, if he recovers from PCT that would be something but he's already way past the age for andropause.
Actually at week 3, this week, 7/30 I changed his whole deal for him... He is doing test e 150mg/week not coming off. I watch him like a hawk in the gym w/ weights he tries to go too heavy w/ sloppy form... I constantly have to tell him to back the weight off and get his form right. He says he feels like a puss after watchin me, and I say look at my form. I started light/medium too. Form first especially at his age. Thanks for the post and you are right on w/ what I have learned and think. Tread-m helped me dial it in for him
Anonyou are helping your dad out.. I highly suggest he gets a blood panel done soon so you have a basis for later blood tests. .. no one here is gonna tell you how shitty you are unless of course you give him some tren and dbol.. duh.. make sure he drinks lots of water eats well and takes supps for liver and prostate functioning ..
He got bloods done the week before he started on he is in prime physical shape. c'mon grrrl the dbol, tren e, eq cycle was next... HAHAHA No way... I have him doing his own research on hgh, that's the next step if he chooses to take it. Thanx for your concern tho... I want the dirty old man to live forever!!
I hope my son would be willing to do the same for me when i can't reach my glute anymore. Don't worry needlessly.
I think as long as he keeps it to trt levels he Will be fine...just watch the prostate ...saw palmetto
Now my question? how often for bloods jus wondering on frequency and things I might need to look out for that arent obvious. Thnx in advance....
You guys are too cool for real! Thanku dad will like it here he probly wont sleep the 1st couple days he gets on!!!
Bro at his age and having done a good job raising you he deserves to feel great. I can only imagine how much better he will feel in the wks to come. Being a TRT myself I've gone months without doing injections during a awful seperation. I felt like a 60yr old! I could barely even get out of bed. Depressed, sad, so damn lethargic I didn't even leave my house most days.
My take on this is he will thank you for this. Just remember to have him get bloods done regularly.
i think at 62 he deserves to do whatever it is that makes him happy bro. sounds like it all started because he wanted to bond with his son at the gym, and now u guys took it to a whole nother level wich is pretty awesome. i think he would like it here with us too lol just make sure he knows the risks and gets proper bloods done take care of him like havoc said
Totally agree! I think it's cool as shit!
Does your father know the risks and did he do his own research? Did you inform him of the risks and possible concerns at his age? Does he have a clean bill of health from his doctor? What are his blood panels? He might as well do it right and safe brother.
He didnt do a whole lot of research on his own. He had a lot of questions and I did all the research to answer all his questions. He is healthy as a horse clean bill from doc, does 30min cardio 5x week and weights. I dont know his actual #'s for bloodwork, he did have his levels tested prior to this tho, cause he has insurance I told him he can probly get it for free. but he said he was just above cut off for trt.
Sound likes due diligence was done. He is old enough to make his own decisions. Maybe bring him on board here!
I'll get him to check it out... He's a whole lot more into guns and motorcycles than computers tho
AnonIf he's anything like my dad (who has two degrees in computer engineering from 1970) than it will take him an hour just to figure out how to log in.
if he's enjoying it and the extra attention it brings him .hell if that makes him happy ,you only live once, right.
let us know if he's making some gains
