Whatman filters

Hey homebrewers. I see that most people use the whatman filter as it's .45microns in size. I just happen to work at a hospital and have access to the .22micron filters that are usually used to filter medication for pediatric patients. Has anyone used the .22 micron filters and are they better to use or are they just gonna make it a pain in the ass to try to suck the oils thru them?

I always use the Nalgene bottles or the Millipore with the hand vacuum pump as wishone mentioned below. The process is much easier and faster.
AnonIve been researching heaps on homebrew and .22um is safer as most bacteria arent that small but some fit through the .45um, but .45um is alot easier to push through and there has been no complaints/infections so far with the .45um.
For painless gear 2% BA 20% BB 50/50 EO and GSO so ive read....
Why not use a Sterile filter unit? much faster and easier.
Thats what im going to be using soon for my Tren Ace, Ive already got the powder just gotta wait for the equipment now.
AnonAll my supplies are sterile, they're straight from the hospital. i have sterile drapes, steril gloves, sterile vials, sterile vials, syringes, pins, etc. i was just hoping the .22 wouldn't be a bitch try to run through the .22 filter.

I have seen some homebrew instructions that actually recommend the .22 filter over the .45
