80 years ago the US fought for what was right, we exposed crimes against humanity that people today have almost all but condemned until recently. Never would I have thought that today, in a time where education and information is open to all, that people would ever support something like that ever again, especially in mass. Yet here we are. We have people openly supporting terrorism, genocide, mass degeneracy while playing the moral superiority card. We have people so naive and uneducated that are willing to die for the people who would rather see them dead.
Does anyone believe we will grow out of this phase or is this Nation and many others around the world, doomed to fall?

I completely agree. I think the fact that people are openly conversing about changes for the better and how to correct the momentum towards destruction shows we are at the beginning of right action. I would suggest that these problems we are focused on have been here for much longer than we give them credit for, they are simply more evident now. It is much harder to hide & misdirect than it once was. Remember, if we weren’t the ones in control, then why would there be so much effort & theater employed to convince us otherwise? The ruling few need our consent, & if we can stop dividing ourselves into warring factions, we can do as we please.
There is but IMO most people are still too passive to do anything until it's too late. The psychotic left feels victimized, whether real or not that is a powerful motivator to go to the next level for vindication. People calmly shifting right won't intervene until they lose their sense of comfort and feel a boot on their neck, which by then may be too late.
I am not right nor left. I was center many years ago but by default, like many others, I am considered right leaning now due to a strong sense of principles and a little common sense.
I am a registered independent and that will never change. We need to hold the middle and fight against extremism on both sides.

I don't see things just smoothing over, no. I think they will get worse and I don't think there's a real path for them to get better any time soon, not without true division, unity isn't going to be an option.
Like you I am and will forever be in the center. Yes common sense and good principles has always been my motivator regardless what's said by both parties. Fake news has definitely gotten out of hand along with politicians that tend to lie, and what's worse is the brain washed individuals that tend to give into those lies. Alot of folks nowadays seem to be puppets hanging from a string. Self thinking is rare. The extreme liberal left has definitely gotten worse and the extreme right isn't that far behind them lol.

People are at the end of their ropes. They're sick of feeding the woke zeitgeist and are dropping off watching the news and social media. CNN is out of the airports; replaced by the weather channel. Viewership is only 600k globally. The silent majority is finding their voices, stand-up comics are standing up to the woke, and corporations have been bloodied by pandering to the woke.
I have the 15 channel deal with our cable, I don't have any 24 hour news and while I dislike CNN, in my yahoo news feed I can always tell a fox news headline by the slant they take, in fairness telegraph and business insider as well.
Same, Fox CNN, MSNBC, etc. none of them report the news, they report spin.
Just read all the agendas put out by the UN and Claus Schawb and The WHO, Davos, and all that shit, they openly write and announce their plans, It's no secret what they want. The part that scares me is that its not like 300 hundred years ago when, the population of 100 million could physically overthrow the government of 1000 elites, and if you lived far enough in the mountains you weren't really affected by the bullshit. now you have to pay tax on property for life, so you really can't just buy land and be self-sustaining. soon theyll just disable all your accounts for not cooperating, shut down your vehicles and shut off your energy, or take your property. also, its not an even playing field, the other 330 million people who SHOULD be on our side are being fed incorrect information and falling for the propaganda, so our fellow countrymen are basically imprisoning themselves and taking us with them. 300 years ago Youd go to your neighbor and say "hey the governor wants 90% of your crops, should we just band together and fight them off instead" the obvious answer was "yes" and so most citizens were in the same side. Now, its a fuck show, its not a simple "hey do you want freedom or not". its all fuckery and lies. a blade and a bullet used to be the only weapons, now they have bombs, viruses, illnesses, fear, social media, knowledge, the education system, the healthcare system, money, weaponized control of energy and food, this is just a whole different ballgame.
Unfortunately, I only see it ending really bad and giving way to a new beginning, or just continuing on this path, somehow it not collapsing and us just living in some dystopian, one world government, medical tyranny ran by Claus Schwaabs successor. and well be eating "nutritional paste" in our pods, plugged into our mindless TikTok machines as time just expires.
If one were to read historical quotes, our founding fathers told us explicitly how to avoid the state our country is in. Their plan and morals were abided by for many years, but simple greed overtook good judgment. Our 1st, 4th, 5th amendments are being crushed daily, and the hardest one they’re working on destroying is our 2nd. We all know why that is. Our country as we know/knew it will be unrecognizable in 10 years. Is it gone? No, but we will go through a restructuring phase. Our future generations will not enjoy the freedoms we once had. Will people fight back? I’m sure. Will it get ugly? Define ugly, it’s ugly now. For most of us over a third of every dollar we make goes to our state and federal governments, for what? All I can say with certainty I do not have the answers, but something needs to happen with the greed, the power hungry, the morally corrupt. Maybe that’s why all great civilizations have fallen? The societies had woken up to the fact that they were basically livestock, and the leadership realized all had been gotten and it was time to let everything crumble and destroy itself.

I can go on for days but its not worth it. Good has become evil and evil has become good. And we're just getting started. God wiped out Soddom and Gomorrah for much less. If He doesn't punish the U.S for so much worse, then He owes Soddom an apology. And God doesn't apologize. At least He will always save His people. I hope everyone has seeked Him out when that time comes so they don't miss the boat. I spent 23 years of my life an atheist until I committed suicide and there was only one person waiting for me. Couple things. I think of it like a pendulum. Swings back and forth so this too shall pass. Also, it’s relative to your perspective. What news you read, where you get your info from and most importantly what’s happening recently because that’s what our attention goes to. People say the country has never been so divided but we weren’t alive during the Civil War, the Depression, Vietnam, etc so we really can’t make that determination. Personally, I don’t let it bother me at all and mostly have some fun with it because it really doesn’t affect me or my happiness at all. Life is good.

The short of the long is basically no, I don't think things will get better, if anything they'll get worse unfortunately.
