Obviously good sex can be had without love but I would prefer it with. Maybe I'm in the minority group with that, I dunno but sex is extremely important to me in a relationship and its like there is an emotional disconnect on my behalf if its not present..

I do believe there's a lot of truth to that statement. There may not always be a perfect balance but maybe in good relationships things just find a way to work themselves out.

To be honest Alayna, I really don't know and may not ever be able to explain it. It's not exactly that men need sex to have romance but the most obvious thing is women are more emotionally driven and men are more sexually drivin. Duh, lol. I'll put it this way, a woman would more likely to be happy in a relationship without sex long before a man would be, I believe. And I could be totally wrong with that. I don't know...
